Name of Nation: Ενωμένη Μεσογειακή-Βαλκανική Δημοκρατία (United Democracy of Mediterrenean-Balkans)
Territories:Spain, Portugal, Italy, and all balkanic countries except for eastern Turkey
Government Type: Democracy
Military: Keeping the ancient tradition of sea supremacy of all countries merged into the Democracy, its main focus is the Navy (Θαλάσσιο Θηρευτικόn, roughly meaning Hunter Navy). Dedicated -some of them nuclear- destroyers have megaton-class lasers capable to drown anything the size of a frigate by themselves after less than 3 minutes of exposure, while submarines capable of launching any kind of torpedo or missile in great quantities to any target can be reloaded underwater by dedicated ordnance-loaded submarines without launch systems for maximum stealth and arsenal. It's 2 aircraft carriers, one positioned in Greece and another in Portugal, are gigantic semi-stealth nuclear behemoths that are dedicated to (as long as enough materials are stationed) the stationing, retrieval, guidance, repairing, loading, and even creation from scratch of naval UCAV's or RUVs. Of course, some small manned aircraft can also land and station on the carriers. An awful lot of smaller vessels are included, but they are not worth mentioning because of the small time limit I have on writing that app.
Some Balkan countries (mostly Turkey) have also evolved their ground forces (Χερσαίο Πολεμικό, meaning Land Army) more than the others (though technology is shared between territories, of course), including tanks with deuterium concentrated plasma artillery (exotic technology that encases plasma in an electromagnetic field around a sulfur amalgram that allows a ball of plasma to travel at extreme distances with extreme speed and good accuracy, with generally small explosive power but good radiation radius from a small fusion reaction -no fallout is created), great MBTs, APCs that can hover around terrain for a while, experimental railgunss etc.
Military aviation and missile technology is more concentrated on Greece and Italy. Small stealth bombers with guided bombs/missile are being tested, while fighters and bombers haeve been completely merged into offense aircraft for the rest of the part. Experimental carrier craft can also launch or even retrieve UCAVs under their wings or through the back door of the fuselage. Missiles are not by much any achievement (though generally good), except for those who deliver very big bombs who somehow include all possible means of guidance, plus a couple more, but with inadequate destructive power for their cost -reserving them for targets of unbelievable importance only.
Economy: Mostly hydrocarbon extraction and artificial production of it. Nuclear reactors and general research of radioactive technology are only stationed in Spain and Portugal, because of intense seismic conditions in the rest of the nation, and because fallout coming from France can be more easily examined this way. This did not stop CERN from setting another collider between Greece and Albania, though, examining that conditions are milder there. Natural gas is also extracted, along with petroleum, from all balkanic countries except for Greece and Turkey.
Foreign Policy: When superiority is held over a country diplomacy is held with, their leader and diplomats are moved with our own vehicles to Rome, where diplomatic operations are held. When superiority is held by the other country, diplomats from all countries included i the nation go to the capitol of the other nation, with a small military power meant solely for self-defense and are prohibited to shoot until they're shot at. If diplomacy is successful, the vehicles at those forces are immediately offered as a gift, while infantry return along with the diplomats at the other nation's vehicles, which are also offered by the other nation and travel to Bulgaria for reverse-engineering.
All allied nations are equal to us, and no restrictions are held to them. However, any signs of mutiny will be permanently dealt with in less than 24 hours.

I... don't believe I ever said that, actually. If I did, it was most certainly a typo. As far as I recall, the closest I've ever said regarding that is that sometimes Wage Slaves were re-conditioned in Sundown, but I don't believe I ever said they became immune to the virus. The purposes of this reconditioning are left intentionally vague for future events, but I can assure you Wage Slaves by no means develop an immunity simply by not drinking the water. The moment they start drinking again, they'll be indoctrinated as they were before.EDIT: Also, closed means , not that the roleplay is finished. TSTS is still alive and going.

Ohhh... that's bad. It was one of the few roleplays that actually got my attention.
And also, since chemicals are created to fight off the virus, and most likely suceed in it (as the cure of Wage Slaves would have stopped being tested), it means that something in the immunity system of humans is able to repel the virus. Such actions (when antigenes are concerned) are accompanied by creation of memory cells, which are now able to repeat said actions when the virus re-enters the body.

[i] The two atomic explosion in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 may have destroyed nothing but their targets, but they also shook the whole planet. The new weapon, more powerful and innovative than anything else even today, presented a new era of warfare; an type of warfare much quicker, much more efficient, much more decisive. And even though much more lethal, much less bloody, for its poor victims either evaporate or die from radiation.
No superpower left the chance to obtain that avatar of destruction. U.S. created hundreds of that weapon, followed by the Soviet Union. At that point, the entire planet was on the verge of doomsday as calibrated intercontinental nuclear missiles and bombers threatened to make the Cold War hotter than any other in the history of humanity -which would be mostly eradicated with unparelled swiftness.
Even after that threat subsided, the general idea of a nuclear war remained. Germany, France, England and Iran also got a grasp of those destruction-in-a-box canisters, while the nations who already had them made them even more deadly. Until there came a time when nukes seemed to have forced the world into peace; the usage of them as deterrents made sure that for as long as a nation had the power to exterminate the nations that oppose, noone dares to oppose them in the first place -not even the ones that also had nukes, for using them would cause the exact same attack on them. The same properties made sure that no nation with nukes would dare to destroy them for they would be defenseless, while more and more nations tried to acquire them to find safety.
Finally, at 2025, all nations had an arsenal of nukes, making it an almost mandatory armament of any conflict. This was a period during which, quite interestingly, everyone finally relaxed: now, nukes, a symbol of unmeasurable destruction, has become so easy to use to destroy the world, noone dared to actually trigger such a chain reaction. Therefore, the greatest diplomat of all times was found out to be a bomb. The possibility of such an attack, which could easily eradicate humanity, was fittingly called Mutual Assured Destruction, or M.A.D., for not one single sane man would dare trigger it.
How oblivious they were to think one of them would not get into charge eventually.
And in 2051, after the death of Queen Kate the 3rd, her son, Arthur the 6th took her place. He seemed to increase the budgets in military technology and physics, which later he reduced again, this time enchancing the industrial infrastructure of Brtain. And then, in 2058, he declared war on Germany, France and Switzerland. Poland tried to get involved, and went with Britain for some reason. The rest of the NATO and the United Stated tried to neutrally stop the conflicts, while Russia allied with Britain, Poland and some other slavic countries, essentially recreating a Soviet Union of sorts.
Of course, from that point and after, everything got worse. Germany allied with the called European Federation (France and the others) followed by the USA. Switzerland sent air raids on Poland cities, while a B-2C filled with 120 high explosive bombs, heading towards London, was shot down.
However, the climax happened when an unidentified flying object was detected at suborbital travel, like it appeared out of thin air. It was detected that it originated from somewhere at the Pacific Ocean, and that it had an error on its trajectory, which targeted unknown target, and while they tried their fastest to prepare countermeasues, 60 seconds later, the CERN was annihilated under a huge fireball, followed by a tremendous shockwave. Half an hour later, 30-megaton retaliation had arrived on New Pyongyang, at North Korea, and the third World War had officialy began. [/i]

You are one of the soldiers participating in World War 3. Despite the usage of nuclear explosives, and common opinion on the conflicts of such a war, conventional forces are mostly used, while any nuke more powerful than 300 kilotons is scarcely used, though those are usually of the megaton range and should be intercepted at all costs.
You can be anything you want, as long as it is acceptable and not godmodding: soldier, captain, artillery batallion commander, warship commander, pilot, missile launch commander, whatever.
Metagaming (out-of-character knowledge) is prohibited: things your character/s can see and/or hearare restricted on logical sight/hearing distace, espionage, radar, sonar, or satellite view.

Well, don't forget the fact that technology and communication between nations has dramatically increased by the Ceasar ages. History is stored in proccessors that can be repaired every now and then, more accurate tracks of time are kept, and numbers follow more of a universal formula -in this case, literally-, that cannot change easily unless it is proved to be wrong -something we can't know, or it would have already changed by now. Also, your comparison overlooks the fact that the only things we have from 50000 BC is oil and fossils, as noone was there to keep notes and try to keep them during the millenia.

Yeah, while the Korvichai have changed their nation name, their democracy (just by a bit, though) and their home planet. They generally wirk on the same technologies, but on more creative applications of the same knowlede that generally changes their technological achievements. Also, they were almost destructed back then, which makes most nation think they actually were. However, yeah, the Korvichai are fans of tradition and managed to keep most aspects at least similar to that period, while their anatomy barely changed for some reason (I quess it is more acceptable when your race's organic elements contain ferrum and aluminum.)

Also, the reason all those myths are so accurate is, in fact, because they were not myths at all. The mythology of those nations was created when parts of the history became so ancient, some historians started dismissing them as mythology with, establishing their theories by some quite convincing characteristics of that history. So, mythology at that era is basically history noone believes actually happened.
