Definitely intriguing. I am unsure as of whether I'll be able to join, but I say you go with it.
@datadogie This citizen gets it. He is a righteous citizen, and loyal to the State. Move on, righteous citizen.
@datadogie Essentially Forged Alliance. Honestly, I subconsciously tie FA with vanilla SupCom 1, even though the former is pretty standalone.
As for SupCom 2... Don't you dare mention this around me again.
@Aqua Fire@datadogie So we're getting some small traction from Day 0! Very nice to see that. Thank you guys.
Honestly, I am also completely unfamiliar with how Arena RP works. However, I do believe it gives us the leeway to simulate a full SupCom battle. It seems both of you would prefer some normal RP, and I do feel that is going to be a BT more full-fledged this way; however, even normal RP will have quite some battles in it-even in multiple battlefields at once!-, it will simply be more roudned-up in regards to actual personal interaction.
And yes, it is probably going to be Casual; Advanced might be too much (though the limit in categories seems to be in regards of minimum text, not maximum; we can always amp it up as we wish), and I doubt Freeplay will be nearly as engaging.
Okay then, you're on! Let's see what others have to say.
I doubt I will be able to post this before summer because school is all over time; but I would like to see whether or not you would be interested in that in the first place.
So yeah, I was thinking of an RP based on the old classic RTS Supreme Commander. It could be a fully fledged RP, with both battles, character development, and world building present; or it could be an Arena RP, where an actual SupCom battle could unfold. As regards Style, this is up to interpretation; I will go with whatever the majority desires.
@KatherinWinter "Woo, a treasure hunt - isn't that original. Doc, you really nailed it this time" said Deus, whistling sarcastically. "I don't suppose you have that map digitised also, right? Or would that be to much hard work for your eggheads?"
@KatherinWinter Sorry, life's gotten in the way...
I don't mind skipping, but whatever the others say.
@Overlord24"I come from the Heredonian pantheon; Heredon was an early empire, in the outskirts of Greece. It is now long gone, but our gods remain strong with the belief of our followers, of all nationalities, spread across the world. They are not many, but they more than suffice for us. Well, except for my father maybe" John sighed. "God of Bloodshed, what would you expect. He always wanted to see the rebirth of a new, prosperous empire, built on the scorched lands of the people he feels betrayed him. With minimal support of the other gods and the small number of his worshippers, he obviously has failed to do so."
@Overlord24 No prob." Seeing that the other students wouldn't open by themselves, John decided to break the ice - if anything, at least he could pass the time and learn something more about his new inmates. "Which pantheon do you come from , by the way?"
@MissCapnCrunch @Overlord24 "If my memory serves me correctly, he is Babylonian. A God of the Storms, I believe." John was intrigued that he couldn't remember more. He was supposed to be good at this exact sort of thing. "Do you believe this will have something to do with our next session?"
