@Scar, I am quite busy atm, I'll do my best to be on but I can't guarantee anything
I don't really mind whether its simultaneous post by post, which is what I have experience with, or a collab between combatants. I think a unanimous decision to do one or the other has to occur though as post by post will take longer, probably, than a collab.

In terms of combat rules, I'm not so sure. In the past I've been very relaxed about it and no harm ever came of it. Plus, to every fight there are 6+ referees, shenanigans are going to get caught.

Things I've seen a bit of though are total posts/lines for a particular move determining its effectiveness between two equally matched opponents. Obviously, no forced hits, the opponent gets at least one post to write a rebuttal.
Things Stitches would have said/done in the "ice breaker"

Played Piano, she's no virtuoso but plays well
Revealed her age (20), marking her as one of the oldest
Mentioned going to University to study Medicine (for 2 years), but not why she wasn't still there.
Stopped playing sports around 17-18, blaming studies.

She won't have explained her appearance, although I doubt anyone would ask.

First off I love Cora's hypocrisy, it makes her feel much more like a real person to me. I don't think Isolation is much of a problem, as well trained as Stitches thinks she is at this, there is a good reason she keeps getting bullied so you'll pretty much always get some response out of her, she thinks ahead but she doesn't act on it well, especially when she believes to have the upper hand. The hypocrisy runs both ways, at least that's what I'll be aiming for, which should be nice character development for the both of them.

@Eyeris: Yes a map would be awesome! The rooms are organized like the line-up, with Magara and Ambrose having the last rooms down the hall across from each other. Ming's would be next to Ambrose's, and Feng's next to Magara, and it keeps going down the line like that. It'd probably be easier to thing of them as like all the odd operatives (01, 03, etc.) are on the left side, and all of the even operatives (02, 04, etc.) are on the right side.

I imagined it something like this, maybe not these proportions though
"Psch. Lazy, Stitches, it's gonna get you killed. Only thing people are good for are stabbing you in the back. You want a bagel, you can go ask me. Nicely. If I'm in the mood, I might give you one."

Eve watched as Coraline strutted away triumphant with the bagels, it was kind of cute, like how a emo pomeranian might leave the room with its favouite toy. If she was trying to get a rise out of her it wasn't going to happen, certainly not over bagels. She was being childish and it was unimpressive, we're soldiers now. Adults. Unfornately, Eve wouldn't be the one that have to beat it out of her. Come to think of it, it was kind of flattering actually, if she had to be a little bitch already then she felt Eve was competition.

Eve had been around long enough to knew exactly how this "winding up" thing goes down, there was nothing Coraline could say that would catch her off guard, even if did offend her, first its attacks on possessions, bagels, clothes, etc. Then physical appearance, for which she'll have limitless ammo. And if that doesn't work, attacks on her personality. After this she'll have exhausted everything and resort to violence, so lets hope it doesn't get that far.

There was still the matter of the bagels. After fixating on them for about an hour there was no way a breakfast subtitute would do. She had two options, walk up to the table and try to take the bagels, which would definitely lead to more childish goings on or she could give up on the bagels and have a unsatisfactory breakfast but not give Cora the satisfaction and possibly nip this in the bud early. Could she sacrifice a lone breakfast for a brighter tomorrow?

Turns out she didn't have to. The foreign weight of about 4 bagels accumalated in her open hand in conjunction with a gentle breeze. It was crisis averted, but not problem solved. A small victory from an unknown source although Eve had her suspicions. She removed a bagel from the bag and ploped it in her mouth. It was definitely a victory of sorts.

"Thanks Coraline, do you want them back or should I leave them here in the kitchen so people can help themselves to them?" Eve shouted from the kitchen as she did her best to hide her delight at Cora being foiled already in her plans.

"Thanks Bruce, I didn't know it was going to be this difficult to get them down when I asked, if I had I'd have gotten them myself. What on Earth are we going to do about her? Its a little early for having your knickers in a twist already"

Or an obstacle course set to 80s music?

Its all about the swing and jazz man!
Eve was already up in the kitchen when VITA started waking the others. She'd caught word that they'd be upto heavy phyisical activity this morning, the like of which she wouldn't be able to do long if she wasn't patched up properly. So, sat on the cold tiled floor in nothing but a tank top and briefs, she sewed, knitting extra temporary strength into her patchwork body. She'd had rather done it in the privacy of her own room but there wasn't the apparatus to keep the needle clean and sterile there and thus had little choice. It was something she'd have to ask about. There was something very theruoputic about suturing one's own legs and arms, once you'd gotten use the pain, the repetitive action was soothing and the knowledge that someone was going seperate your forearm from your elbow in a particularly rough throw was reassuring to her, and certainly reassuring to the opponent.

Considering VITA was only just beginning to get people out of bed, she'd probably finish before she was intruded upon and they'd have to see such a deranged sight before breakfast. A couple more stitches and... There! Done. Time to get dressed properly. Eve slinked out of the kitchen and with her metallic dish and needle in one hand, gave a quick embarrassed wave to the party that had already congregated in the living room. Back in her room, Eve swiftly slipped into her plain black leotard, the legs of which were cut straight across. She tied her hair up in a bun so it couldn't get in the way. Make up was a thing of the past, any attempt of obscuring the nature of her skin drew vastly more attention too it, it simply wasn't designed with people like herself in mind. Slip-on shoes on she was ready for action when she caught her reflection in the mirror.

"Spiral Arrow! Cannon Spike!"

Yeah, this really wasn't Eve at all, she was much more used to being covered up and looked less like a street fighter character, it was a bit embarassing really. But it was what superheroes wear and it wouldn't impeed her ability to use blood as armour if necessary like her ordinary clothes do, so she'd have to get used to it. But not quite right now, now she was sociallising, not training. She threw a hoodie on over the top and immediately felt a bit better. She stolled back into the living room. The topic of conversation was still Nathan, the poor thing, Eve thought it would be nice to let him catch a break and introduce himself as he really is.

"Its good to see you're ok, Nathan, I hope you're alright for today's activities."

"Oh, we didn't get the chance to talk yesterday, you can call me Stitches."

She paused again "Do you think one of you tall, strong boys could get me down the bagels in the kitchen? I've been up since 5 with nothing to eat and fancied them ever since I laid my eyes on them, but I can't reach."
Posted to stay in the game.

Also, sometimes I misread things so make sure to call me out on it, I'm happy to make adjustments.
The time had arrived, the introduction from the drill sargents had been made and it was time to get unpacked and settled in. Honestly, Eve didn't expect much from BPAP in terms of accomadation, two rooms of with two rows of bunk beds each seperating the girls and the boys, a shared bathroom and a mess hall at best. It was much to her suprise then when it was much like back at Uni; a commonroom equiped with new furniture, a nice tv and a kitchen with a walk in fridge and a grand piano. Maybe a bit better than student digs, but it certainly wasn't boot camp. She was a bit thankful for this, while she was prepared to the harassment and mental torture an average soldier went through, it certainly wasn't something she wanted to be submitted too. You never know, tomorrows training might have been even worse to make up for the atomic-era accomadation.

Eve couldn't resist the allure of the piano, it was a beautiful specimen. She siddled up to the majestic beast and ran a gentle hand through its straight steel mane, examining its well formed hammers and real ivory keys. It certainly had pedagry, part of an exclusive, dying club. It was almost a shame she'd have to play it really, but its its own fault for leading her on like this. If she wanted to live forever she should have become a museum piece, not a late-teen common room toy. Yeah, it was definitely a girl-piano, so delicate and elegant in its design. It would be a pleasure to rest her fingers on the keys, to feel their fine balance to hear that quite ping of vibrating steel in a magnificent body of... was it spruce? It was gorgeous whatever it was, much nicer than the one she was used to playing. Not having a musical instrument to play was a large concern for Eve when registring for BPAP, music was an important of who she was, giving that up would be a big sacrifice. Her thoughts of future concerns brought her out of her piano induced daze and back to reality where three others stood at the piano, including the friend she made earlier in the line up. Aware she might be impeding someone else from playing she jumped away and apologised,

"Oh Gosh, I'm so sorry for getting in the way, its been a while since had the opportunity to play a piano as nice as this one, I guess I'll just have to wait my turn." Eve smiled to the mixed raced lady and continued, "I told you so, there was no reason to be nervous, looks like we're going to be really well looked after, Stitches by the way"
@Famotill, I don't mean to be an arse but you could do with posting a bit more content. All that has occurred is you (Belle) walked in and saluted so all my post can be about is you walking in saluting. If there is no interaction, there is no RP. You need to leave us in a situation we can actually do something in, we're lock in a situation receiving much needed exposition and there isn't much we can do till you deliver it.
