Louise

@Flamelord

Louise’s internal struggle ended, the hands that had gripped the broom so tightly now relaxed, her expression calm and almost serene. She smiled, her eyes closed, the wind causing her clothes and hair to billow around her. The wind was blowing in the direction that she wanted to go, which would be useful for what she had in mind. “Archer! We’re going to save that girl, I don’t care about her Servant!” she said with conviction, locking her eyes on the scene before them. She began to cycle prana through the engravings on her broom, restoring the enchantment that would allow levitation. The symbols glowed in response, however unlike before this was no temporary glow, instead growing in intensity. The enchantments primed but not yet activated.

“I’m going to save her. I have a plan. But I need you to help me. I’ll understand if you want to refuse. But I'm willing to force the issue if I have to,” she said, her eyes not leaving the scene taking place before her eyes. She didn't say it directly but it would be obvious to her Servant that she was referring to her commands seals. She didn't want to use them but in this situation she wouldn't hesitate. She needed Archer to know that. It was only fair. “I'm going to fly as fast as I can, straight toward Akane. I need you to support me as best you can from afar. Do what you have to do. Remember, we’re not here to fight, retreat as soon as you can. We’ll rendezvous back in my dorm room…You can be angry at me later.”

Louise took a few steps back, pulled her goggles down over her eyes and took a few deep breaths before running toward the ledge, leaping out into empty space. She allowed herself to fall freely, building up speed as she approached terminal velocity. Just over halfway down she engaged the enchantments ‘repelled by the earth’ and ‘foot not making contact with the ground’. She then cycled as much of the prana that she could spare into providing forward propulsion. She knew that Archer could keep up, even at these speeds. She just hoped that he wouldn’t hate her for such a reckless course of action. She would understand if he did. As she pulled up to the horizontal she was going as fast as she possibly could.

She was heading straight for Akane, more or less, veering slightly only to correct her trajectory. At the moment of ‘contact’ with Akane she would expand her enchantment magecrafts, ‘repelled by the earth’ and ‘foot not making contact with the ground’ to encompass Akane, making her light enough to carry.

Assassin

@Gamerdude369

Assassin nodded in agreement. It was good that they were operating on the same wavelength, it would make it easier to predict her Master’s intentions ahead of time, allowing her more autonomy when it came to making decisions. Had they been of a different mind no doubt her master would have ‘tightened the reigns’ as it were. She returned his smile. “But of course, I have to make it look convincing. But don’t worry, I'm very good at what I do. I can make it look bad without putting you in any real danger, provided that you trust me,” she said in response to his insistence that she not go easy on him. She didn't tell him that the thought of holding back had never even crossed her mind.

“I have no immediate plans, I shall likely return to my room and wait until the morrow. Unless of course you need me during the night, in which case you shall first wine and dine me,” she said in jest, smiling cheerfully as she did so. She got up from her sitting position and walked past her Master, laying a hand on his shoulder as she passed him by. She headed toward the exit, her hands clasped together on the base of her skull, a shopping bag dangling from her right hand. And in her right was a kitchen knife. She turned toward her Master and smiled in an innocent fashion. “I’ll be watching your back, so don’t you worry Master. Nobody will be sticking a knife in there on my watch. See you at home!” she called cheerfully over her shoulder as she disappeared into the hallway.
Well, if Akane chooses to revoke the enchantment she'll likely kill both us. Brooms don't fly without those two enchantments working in tandem. Useful to know~
So that Louise doesn't hurt Akane at the moment of 'impact' she will expand her ‘repelled by the earth’ and ‘foot not making contact with the ground’ invocations. Up to you if you mention them or not.
So, writing my post. Going to literally sweep Akane off of her feet. At great speed.

*Nods thoughtfully*

Hold onto you skirt!
I should be able to post tomorrow, assuming lab prep doesn't consume too much of my time~
Plus you'll all be wearing plot armour as well so you should all be nice and snuggly wuggly~
“How is that even a question?” Jäger repeated the words with an exasperated tone of her own, rubbing the side of her head as she did so. “You know for one of the smartest people I know you’re really dumb sometimes. I was just trying to make conversation, don’t get your panties in a bunch,” Jäger replied in an annoyed tone before marching off ahead without waiting for the others.

Didn’t Aaron realize that a display of ignorance now would serve them well later? The less they appeared to know the less suspicions they would appear later. After all, new students were supposed to get a little lost on their first day. Of course she couldn’t say any of this out loud, not with so many eyes upon them at the bus stop. “Dumb ass!” she said irritably to herself, not caring who heard her as she headed through the streets towards, as Aaron had so eloquently put it, that big ass building.
I can already tell that Aaron and Jäger are going to get along oh so well~

*Smiles cheerfully*
Jäger made doubly sure that the bow case was securely sealed before gathering up her other possesses. These included a travel bag containing among other things a first aid kit and a hunting knife. The first aid kit she knew how to use well enough, the knife was a memento of her fathers. Besides her bag she also had a suitcase, containing mainly clothes, hair products and a replacement set of headphones. With her possessions gathered she awkwardly made her way to the front of the bus, bag on her shoulder, suitcase in hand and her bow case held tightly under her other arm. As she passed the driver she thanked him and offered the man a warm smile to reassure him that nothing he had said would find its way back to him.

With a hop she landed gracefully onto the floor and looked around. The smell was bad but didn't bother her all that much. The area had an aura that put her ill at ease, a mixture of poverty, deprivation and tension. It made the area feel imposing and unwelcoming. The fact that she had already drawn the attention of more than a few individuals did little to alleviate matters. This was how prey must have felt, being salivated over by starving hounds. However Jäger was no frightened little rabbit. Ignoring the onlookers she stepped away from the bus and looked around to get her bearings, though the directions that they had been given were poor at best.

She turned toward Eika. “I don’t know how you can be so enthusiastic about any of this,” she said, motioning to the immediate area. “This is not the kind of place that I want to stay the night in, or day for that matter. I can feel myself getting dirty just standing here.” She turned toward Aaron who was last to get off of the bus. “So, where do we need to go from here?”
You give yourself far too little credit~
