I know we've already established a post restraint to avoid one player posting too frequently, but I was curious about a time frane in regards to how long we'll have to wait for people before we post. I'd just like to know for future reference, so no one is sitting around waiting for too long.

Just as a heads up, though, I'm always on mobile. I don't have a computer. This means that posts will look longer to me than they might to the rest of you, and it is really easy to make typos. Forgive me for that.

Certainly, the thing that should have been on Raguel Reid's mind was the prospect of getting another settlement to form a trade deal with his. It was necessary to rebuild the community to its fullest potential, and you simply cannot do that without gasoline. Electricity, cars, you name it. It was the most coveted thing for his settlement, granted they had small gardens and access to a well. The thing was, Raguel just couldn't take his mind off the salisbury steak that laid before him. In his old life, he wouldn't have ever touched it, given his reputation. Now, however, the steak is a delicacy. Not many souls out there can say they've enjoyed one in the past ten years. He glanced over at the box one good time, taking his time to be grateful for the gift of such a well preserved meal, and then he dug in. The steak was gone in minutes, but savored every second of it.

As he was putting his plate away, an unreasonably tall caucasian male burst into the room, clearly excited about something. "Mr. Reid, we-"

"Kaid. Forgotten how to knock, have we?" Raguel asked rhetorically. The rhetoric, by some miracle, managed to find its way over the giant's head.

"No, I haven't. But they're here, now. Ca-"

"It seems that our guests are as eager as you are." Raguel remarked smoothly. He calmly slid his plate into the old, well-kept sink and turned to face Kaid. "So it's best to not keep them waiting. Wait for me outside, tell them I'll be out in a few."

"You got it," came Kaid's final statement. Raguel listened to his loud footsteps as he left the home. He would never understand the tendency of the post-apocalyptic generation to be so excited about violence whenever it even so much as presented the slightest opportunity. Hypocritical, he knew, given what was about to transpire in the next fifteen or so minutes.

As he approached the exit to his home, Raguel stuffed his M9 handgun in the back if his pants, so that it would appear to his guests that he was unarmed. All it really was was insurance, but he had a funny feeling that this was insurance he was going to need. He left his signature machete laying where it was and walked out the door, smiling that charming smile if his that had always done him well in the past. "Today's the day we get what we want," he muttered to himself, "It's showtime."

Is this correct? It says it's like 83 square miles, which is a lot of ground...it'd probably help if everyone picked a neighborhood in a district, I think. If I said Amie was in Greater Duwamish Apartments, and her home was in Central District 3, would that make sense? How is it worded?

I wanna say Raguel and his community would be in the northeastern section of the Delridge Neighborhoods.

As far as setting goes, I'll be okay to post wothout an established one for now, as the most reasonable place for a community like the one I'm envisioning to rebuild is in the remains of smaller, more rural old towns. So that is where they will be.

Name: Raguel Tucson Reid

During the fall of civilization, Raguel was doing his best to maintain order in the state. He was an elected member of the state's legislative branch, and was the likely prospect to be a candidate for governor. When chaos's hammer finally fell in the state capital, he fled.

Gender: Male

Age: 39

Personality: Raguel is certainly good at hiding it, but he has an immense fear of being alone. He has a "look out for number one" outlook on life, but in a broader sense than the individual. He'll do anything if it means keeping his community safe. Aside from that, he is calm, cool, and calculated, always taking a moment to ponder the best route to a desired outcome. Easily approachable, yet understandably liked by those he looks after, he can come across as a jerk to a stranger... Which, perhaps, isn't necessarily wrong.

A man who looks his age, Raguel is an impressive man. He has peak social skills, the luck of being a naturally charming individual, and a relaxed posture. Aside from that, he has a black belt in Kendo and a blue belt in Jujutsu, and had hunted a fair share for sport. He has mild arthritis in his left knee and fair vision, though it has certainly been affected by age.

Possessions:
* A white suit
* Sweatsuit
* Hair Gel & Comb
* Straight razor kept at home
* A home in his community, and some of the luxuries that one would have imagined came with that in the old days. (Not a lot, though, and I don't feel it is practical to make an extensive list of household items.)

Equipment:
* Beretta M9 with 18 bullets and 4 clips (One full and loaded in the gun, one with three, and two empty... For now.)
* 19 inch Kopis machete & a sheath.
* Satchel
* Swiss Army Knife

I do understand that this may be a bit much to start out with, but I find it understandable given the fact that he is the benevolent dictator leader of a small and rapidly blossoming community.

Notes: He highly trusts only two individuals from his community at the time of the RP's start: His muscle, Kaid, and his best scavenger, Ivory.
Kaid and Ivory will merely be frequently-present NPCs. If a CS for them is necessary, then I would be happy to make them.

Kaid: Kaid was born after the end days and never met his parents. He was never a bright boy, but it doesn't take much to realize that using the physical advantages that come with being built like a professional basketball player meant getting what you wanted darn near all the time. He had a good life on his own, until he tried to push around the wrong man. Despite his size, Raguel's superior martial arts skills ended up leading to his inevitable defeat and swearing of allegiance to the ex-politician.

Ivory: Ivory was also born after society had fallen, but she had the luck of having both of her parents around even to this day. They taught her how to live off the land, and how to scavenge better than just about anybody. Using her nimble build and athletic gifts, she often utilizes parkour when in old towns and cities to get from place to place. Ivory often packs a light load for the sake of mobility, and she can run for miles on end. She'll usually avoid direct conflict, utilizing either stealth or quiet weapons to stay out of hairy situations.
