Appearance:
Civilian-wise she likes to wear dresses, overalls, or jeans. She normally wears t-shirts that have silly comments on them, like “don’t look at me or you’ll die from cuteness” or “My cat is either dead or alive.” She wears a cat ear headband to keep her air back and has a ton of bracelets on her wrists.
Hero-wise she wears a black leotard with a bright blue lightning bolt symbol on the front and back.
Civilian Name: Alexia Samantha Goodling
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Type of hero: Daughter of two of Powered People, Thermal and Gamma.
Powers: Control electricity (electrical impulses, electrical cables, etc), can also discharge (teehee) electricity as a bolt of lighting.
Skills: She can draw really well, and she has a really good memory. She also has a good concept of physics, mostly of electromagnetic stuff, but also knows some stuff about thermodynamics, and radiation, etc.
Biography: She was born to two physicist , Eric Goodling (one of the leading minds in thermodynamics and energy transfer) and Natalie Summers (another leader in her field of nuclear physicists). They were working at a particle accelerator that malfunctioned. It didn’t exploded more just released a wave of high level radiations on all frequencies, giving them some powers. Eric (Therma) the power to heat an object, control the amount of energy it had, etc and Natalie (Gamma) the power to control different frequencies of radiation from light, to x-rays, to radio and sounds.
They put it to good use and became part of the group of heroes saving the world. Until Alpha left, then they went back to their human life as normal and became lecturers and researcher in their field.
When they had Alexia, they were happy that she didn’t have powers and vowed to never tell her about their short stint as superheroes until the age of six when Alexia learnt about static electricity from a textbook her dad had left around. She ran over to the carpet, rubbed her feet on it, and decided to shock her mum. When she touched her mom, she gave her a shock (pun intended.) She ended up frying her mom’s computer and sent her mom flying backwards. That’s when they started noticing other things when Alexia got emotional, like lights flickering or glowing brighter, metal flexing and small shocks to anyone near her. They started training her to keep her powers hidden and they were masters after doing it for 10 or so years. This changed when Alexia’s parents were involved in a car crash when coming back from a lecture. Using their powers, they protected Alexia from most of the damage but took the brunt of it on themselves. That was when she was nine, 3 years ago; they remain in a coma. She now lives with her granddad who knows about her powers.
At the age of eight, Alexia was given a puppy that she named Schrodinger, or Cat for short. It is a small German Alsatian that she takes everywhere, except school. Her parents got it for her from another powered person, this one an animal veterinarian, who fixes hurt animals with high-tech prostheses. Schrodinger, instead of normal legs and paws has metal legs, which have small jets in them allowing him to hover and fly.
Personality: She is a bubbly 12-year-old girl who can sometimes be super smart and creepy. She sometimes gets a bit confused when adults talk about stuff. She doesn’t lie so will sometimes blurt out the obvious by accident. She likes to talk a lot and pretty much act like a 12-year-old girl otherwise.
Things to note: She loves chocolate. Oh and do not ignore her for our own good. And don’t pet Schrodinger without permission.
