Adalina Corvi - Virtù Cardinali Incarnano Cafe Zepelli Adalina raised an eyebrow at Catherine's obvious distrust towards the random selection. "Now now Catherine, I hope you don't really think I would do something as unjust as cheating in a game of luck by using magical powers, especially when it is only about the movie we're going to watch this evening. Not that I could do something like that anyway, without making it obvious. I really thought you would trust your leader a bit more.....what a pity." She knew that Cath most likely had not meant anything with her statement, but even so, as the veteran member of the group and pillar of justice, she demanded at least some respect, especially when it came to things that weren't just at all. Reminding them now and then that they had to be able to trust each other blindly wouldn't hurt and since there was the very real possibility that they would lose one member at some point, it was better if they could spend the time together without any doubts. "Well, since Horror, Action and Comedy are the ones we want the most, we should only select between these categories. So, does anyone have a dice or something else we could use to get a random result?"
Adalina Corvi - Virtù Cardinali Incarnano Cafe Zepelli "I'm sure we can afford one night of relaxation without Rome getting completely destroyed, after all we're far from being the only girls fighting for her safety, though we're probably the best. Hey, you always have to see the positive side of things, right Cali? If you're sore now, that at least means you won't try to ride Hua later on and get the bedsheets all messy." Finishing the last pieces of her cake, Adalina turned her attention to the cup of coffee in front of her and took a big gulp of the warming liquid. It was true that there were more than enough Magical Girls out there, but if their mighty overlords called, they would have to follow. In order to administer justice, one had to make small sacrifices now and then, but she wondered if the faceless creatures behind the Error.net had to do the same, or if they could live their lives normally. "Let's proceed with the planning for this evening. What kind of movie should we watch: Horror, love, drama or action?"

"Interesting choice there, Cali. Personally, I wouldn't have gone for the one who is most likely going to cause a fractured skull if she doesn't agree with the kiss. Which also would remind her of her Chinese cartoons, I bet. Oh and just think of all the boys who have a crush on you, they would be devastated to find out that you're swinging that way." Adalina, who was halfway through the cake by now already, took this moment to connect a dramatic pause with a delicious mouthful of coffee. "Not everyone can be as energetic as you, but I see your point. However, it's not like Ms. Lorenzi is doing anything to help getting the situation going either....adults are so stupid sometimes. Well, with a bit of luck we're all going to be part of the 90% death quota in our last year of service and never have to become like that hahaha! Anyways, we're starting this evening so bring clothes and anything you think I don't have. No booze, no boys, no trying to fabricate evidence against grown men because they 'sexually harassed you'. Also, don't forget your swimsuits."
"A good day to you too, Caligetta. It's a good thing that we get more than enough exercise, or else I would have to be concerned about you putting on weight, with all that sugar you eat and drink." While Maria walked off to fetch them what they had ordered, Adalina pulled out her cellphone, went to the calender option and made a few notes here and there. "Anyway, as I was telling Cath just before you joined us, my father won't be home for at least a week, so unless you guys have other plans, who's up for a slumber party? Ahh, what am I saying, of course you have no plans! As if any of us could make such things since we got enlisted anyway...." A few minutes later Maria returned with the two cups of coffee and Adalina's chocolate colossus piece, which she gleefully started to devour, savoring every bite, as the chocolate bits melted slowly on her tongue, while the fluffy cream dissolved in mere seconds, leaving feelings of longing for the next behind. "Mhmmmmm.....I'm in heaven....." She glanced at the latte macchiato shaped clock and frowned slightly, since Hua Tsing was the last one to arrive again. Not that they had settled on a specific time, at which they would all come together, however they somehow always managed to appear at approximately the same time, as if they were governed by magic. A fact that was undoubtedly helpful, if they had to fight some Error again, however Adalina didn't like it. "So, while we're waiting for Huahaha, who will gladly pay for our orders I imagine, let's talk about serious business. Do you think Mr. Accorsi will ever man up and finally confess to Ms. Lorenzi? It's really getting hard to watch the getting fuzzy all the time, when they are near each other."
Adalina came walking into her favourite cafe in whole Rome with a slightly annoyed look on her face this afternoon. However, that changed rather quickly when she saw one of her comrades in arms and friends sitting at one of the tables, already enjoying the divine nectar of the gods, known as coffee. She waved at Catherine, walked over to the table and sat down across from her, letting a long sigh escape from her mouth as she leaned back and finally allowed herself to relax. "Did your parents tell you the same things over and over again, as if you were baby, when you still were living back in Canada, Cath? I swear, either my father has temporal amnesia whenever he's going on a business trip, or he thinks I'm still and will forever be 5 years old. 'Don't let any people into the house you don't know. No parties. No boys. The wine cabinet is taboo. Remember to brush your teeth at least twice a day. Don't stay up too late. No playing around with your friends until you've done your homework. Oh and of course, no boys'. It's like a broken recording, which just repeats itself over and over again." Seeing as her friend already had something to drink, Adalina waved the friendly woman in her early twenties known as Maria, who worked at the cafe, over to them to order something herself. "Good afternoon, Maria! Could you get me a cup of coffee too, please? The smell of Cath's will just make me drool all over the table otherwise. Oh and Cath, do you think we should get some cake right away, too? The double chocolate colossus looks especially delicious~"
Name: Adalina Corvi Age: 14 Appearance: Up there Nationality: Italy (Sicily) Personality: Adalina is very sharp and has strong, albeit quite peculiar sense of justice. She is very serious about fighting Errors in order to set things right and won't tolerate any slip-ups from her fellow underlings. Her strictness with other magical girls stems mostly from idea that there only have to be so many magical girls, as long as they are perfectly trained and don't die, so that recruiting new ones as cannon fodder won't be necessary anymore. The less people there are in harms way, the better. Biography: Adalina was born as the daughter of a successful lawyer and his wife on the beautiful island of Sicily. Thanks to her father's work her family never had any money problems, they traveled whenever she had holidays, they had a big house with a swimming pool and even their own little yacht. In her childish naivete, she always thought that these happy times would continue for ever and ever. But of course, that wasn't the case. In a dark summer night, it already had been several months after her tenth birthday, her father woke her up and told her to quickly get dressed because they had to go on vacation right now. Adalina never had questioned things much before, so she did as she was told, got into the passenger seat of their Alfa Romeo and fell asleep again moments after. When she awoke again they were already passing through Naples and she realized that something was missing, or more precisely, someone. However, no matter how often she asked her father where her mother was, the answer was always the same: "I'll explain everything once we're there, so just be a good girl until then." 'There' in this case was a villa on the outskirts of Rome which, even though it wasn't as big or luxurious as their home, was quite nice to look at and most important of all, had a small pool too. After they had unloaded their luggage, which seemed awfully little for a vacation, and brought it inside, her father sat down with Adalina in her, as she would find out moments later, new bedroom in order to answer her questions. That day she learned a lot about her family, which she never even would've dreamed of. Apparently, her father had been working for the mafia for years and not only part time, while her mother was supposedly an undercover cop, who quite literally got under his covers with unexpected results. End of the story was that she quit her job and became a full time mother, however a major figure of the Sicily underworld had gotten wind of it recently and had sent someone to get rid of her and the rest of the family. Her father had managed to fend of the killer however not before he had managed to critically injure her mother, so the only possible way to save her was to call an ambulance for her, which of course would also invite the police, once the medics discovered the gun wounds and corpse. Long story short, they were in Rome now because they had to hide from the police and the mafia, while her mother was fighting for her life and probably would never see them again, even if she survived, because she would have to join a witness protection program to be completely safe. Adalina took it better than expected, as she started to cry like mad, ran out of the house and as far as she could away from the creature that called himself her father. She only stopped when it started to rain and she had to huddle under a tree in a park, so that she wouldn't get completely soaked. It was also there that she had her first contact with a being known as Error, when it tried to eat her. The big mouth and rows of teeth looked like an endless void that came closer and closer and would have surely swallowed her whole, if not for some girl in a frilly dress, who saved her at the last second and gave her the gift of being a magical girl. From that moment on she swore to herself that she would bring justice to those who thought they could get away with lying, killing, cheating and stealing. Not a double-faced justice like that of her father, who worked for good and bad alike, no true justice, her justice. Experience Level: Veteran Skills: Law knowledge: Since her father is a lawyer, she knows more than your average young girl about the things you're not allowed to do and what kind of punishment you'll have to face, if you do it anyway. Leadership: Adalina is convinced that she was born to be a leader and that she always gives the right orders at the right moment, in order to achieve perfect results. Punishment: Punishing others in the perfect way, so that they grow through the experience without taking (too much) damage. Personal Trainer: Going hand in hand with the above, she is also a competent, though demanding, training instructor, when it comes to magical girl or school related stuff. Yo-yo: Adalina mastered the ancient art of the Yo-yo and can even perform tricks with it. Magical Power: Adalina's Magical Power revolves around the concept of ultimate justice, with herself as the judge. Naturally, this also means that it is slightly biased, since it will never work against her, as of course she is the pinnacle of true justice. Records of Guilt (First Act): A book which let's her look into the past of any being on earth, allowing her to find out about the misdeeds they have done. Be it the stealing of cookies, putting a tack on the teachers chair or the killing of Magical Girls, nothing will be hidden from her, as long as they feel guilty about it and she knows their name. Wheel of Justice (First Act): Adalina's weapon of choice, a big wheel attached to a chain, which she normally carries around on her back. The damage it does increases exponentially to the amount of guilt someone or something has burdened themselves with in Adalina's eyes. Chains of Hell (Second Act): Much like her wheel, these chains get stronger, the more guilt someone possesses in her eyes. They appear from various magic circles around her target and are infinitely long. While they wrap around the enemy, they continuously twist and tighten, in order to rid them of any kind of mobility or way to free themselves. If they have done truly horrible stuff, then the chain can even manage to tear of appendages.
