Heya! I'm Shadow. He is a shadowy figure, with a black cape, eerie black-and-white hair. I love gaming and roleplaying and I'm a DM for a D&D group as well. I freaking love it! This first paragraph or so will be my likes and interests, if you don't want to read it, feel free to keep scrolling.
So, I'm a huge geek and nerd. Call me what you will, I call myself a computer geek and gaming nerd. Gaming is my thing, it's what I always do and my huge amount of free time allows that. I use Linux as well, don't ask why as I don't care for getting into that. TL;DR of that I prefer Linux and I hate the way M$ is going. I'm a huge geek for Star Wars, it is my most favoritest thing ever! I'm also a huge fan of and I quote space core, "Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!" I enjoy spray painting, I've made some cool stuff with it. I enjoy anime and manga, my favorite anime is "The Devil is a Part Timer." Favorite game currently is Stardew Valley. I really love weapons of all kinds, I have 4 knives a katana and dagger and a pack of throwing knives in my room. I plan to get more. Running is enjoyable. I freaking love music, as I'm writing this I have Red Hot Chili Peppers playing. My genre's usually tend to be rock or metal, sometimes I'll go away from those. Not insanely often though. Flying planes is amazing, I've done it about 6 times. I'd love to try for a private pilot license. I won't apologize for this being all over the place, that's how I am and I won't apologize for being myself!
I am big into computers, I've built mine, taken it apart and rebuilt it numerous times. I plan to do that again once I get a new case. Computers are my thing, I have numerous builds planned out, I just need to get the money for the parts to build them. This has given him a reputation for callousness and greed. I've done a custom paint job on one of my side panels, doing spray paint means I can do that, heh.
I made that.
If you meet me in person, I have a tough shell. I enjoy having a tough and scary or intimidating exterior. It's come in handy. Once you get to know me you'll know I'm not like that. I'm a sweet guy, very caring and while I am shy and introverted. I do come out of that and meet people. I do tend to talk more the more we know each other.
I freaking love tea, tea is love, tea is life. Tea is my favorite drink ever, it's the best thing known to mankind. I'd drink nothing but tea for the rest of my life if I could. He frequently reattaches and transplants limbs. So many differnt kinds and flavors, it's crazy with how much there is, then making your own. The limits are endless when it comes to tea! If you want me to love you forever, you should totally get me tea!

@Shoryu Magami I skimmed them due to wanting to see everything in a short amount of time, I'll have to go back and read it all in depth. Liking what I've seen.
Alright, this is on my main monitor, simple really, I have many backgrounds I like to use but this is my favorite.
Alright, and here we can see rofi, rofi is the program I use to launch my programs, it'll show a list of programs and you'll choose the one you want or put the name in, press enter and it'll launch. I could use D-menu but I prefer rofi and it looks much nicer, granted I customized it to be the way it is but still. Apologises for the second monitor glitch, it's a lower resolution and as such when I take a screenshot of my whole screen array, it'll add those glitch bars.
If you want to see them in a larger scale, just right click on the image and click on view, it helps for zooming in to see rofi in the second one.
@Shoryu Magami Alright, if you wanna look-see of what I deal daily then that's a simple screenshot or two of what it looks like blank and how I launch it all.
@Shoryu Magami It isn't all that hard honestly, you just have to have a base idea of what you want and figuring it out isn't hard, I mean for me, I either install or remove something and replace it or change a few lines in the code, I can provide a screenshot of what my blank desktop looks like, show how that is and stuff.
I grew up on older wandoze OS versions. Used them until December when I switched to Linux. The older versions are nice and all but over time got worse, 8 and 8.1 were interesting to say the least, weren't the worst out of them all but I didn't like the change from 7 that they went to, that whole "metro" UI was weird and got more annoying than anything else in my mind. I found it interesting they tried to combine the two in 10, take the metro menu and shrink it down and combine that with the older menu, I found it odd and for the short 4 hours I had it installed I didn't like it, I much prefered the older one, I liked that style and how it responded to everything, it just worked really well.
People adapt and if they want to configure what they can to how they want, I mean, take a look at that rainmeter stuff, that's interesting and if you use linux, you can use Conky for something similar to that. Or, just configure your shit how you want, it's all up to you with linux, fuck I run my whole system off keybindings, my mouse doesn't do anything unless the program has a use for it, that's how I set my system up as I wanted a minimal setup with low resource costs, that's what I got and I love it and wouldn't change back to a UI like that. I still tweak my stuff but not much anymore given it's how I want it, tweaking is usually minor stuff anyway.
@Shoryu Magami 7 and XP were the best they made, I'll give them that. The direction they're going now is shit and I have so many things against them, fucking left them 11 months ago and it was the best choice I've ever made yet.
@Ailyn Evensen Glad you've not had problems with it, I've heard of many and dealt with plenty. Not all of them were involving taking back the privacy for the owner of the computer either. That was a problem as well.
@Ailyn Evensen It is very stupid and people don't care all that much about it, they make it dumber and less prone to working so they can "hire" people to fix what isn't broken just for the extra cash. Anything Microsoft lately has been that way, skype is one of the bigger things about it that's broken.
Don't even get me started on how they have Wandoze 10, dear mother of god.
