Phillus Circus-Big Top “Oh geez, here I was being a selfish little pig, not realizing you’re nervous too! Well… Don’t worry about it, Aria! I have your back! My eyes are trained on the smallest lick of fire! You don’t have to panic about missing the cue while I’m here!”Aria blinked at Lute’s sudden exclamation, lips quirking as he whipped around to stare at the stage eagerly- or was it intently? She shook her head, reaching out to give his hair a ruffle before going back to staring at the stage, feeling much less nervous. She didn’t need to worry; Lute was here, and so was the rest of the Pride.
The show grew more and more intense, and soon the two were so absorbed in the acts that they were on their feet cheering with everyone else.
"You think you've seen something? You ain't seen nothin' yet! We can only have more in store! Hey, hey - who here is a returning guest?"Woah, it looked like quite a large portion of the audience had been here before. It wasn’t quite a surprise after seeing the, however. She could understand why people would be willing to come back time after time to enjoy these seemingly death defying acts.
"But now - now we have something even newer in store! The debut of our two new members, and our special stars for the night!"She paused. New members? Wait, didn’t that mean-
"Well, we heard your pleas, and are coming right back at ya with exactly what you wanted! You want 'hot,' you got it!" Ooooh fidgestickling buttersticks.
"You want 'burning,' you got it! You want 'on fire,' you got it!" She shot a glance over at Lute, their eyes meeting as they shared a nod. Crispin soon strode onstage, and started to speak. It was surprisingly smart of him to warn the audience- looks like Lute wouldn’t have to work as hard after all.
“Get ready to move-“ She hissed out just as his fists burst into flames, the tent soon following after. “You’d think they’d at least fireproof the tent when adding a fire act,” they were on their feet now, trying to help guide people to the exits. She glanced back to the ring where Crispin was being cornered by the other performers, frowning and trying to see a route to the stage.
“I’m going to see if I can go help the poor chef out. You stay here alright?”
She didn’t stay to hear whether Lulu would protests or not, leaping over vacated sections to make sure the guy would be alright.
