@CrimmyThat's an option, yeah, but like I said I'm more interested in trying to do a super robot. Always been more into super robot anime than real robot stuff, really, so... Yeah. ^^; But we'll see how things turn out I guess.

That's fair enough. I'm more of a super robot fan too, as cool as the Huckebein Exbein is.

So your plan is trying to come up with a good original super-type that fits in OG somewhat, yeah?
@CrimmyThose are both real robots, though. XD Even if the Gespenst is a real robot that thinks it's a super robot.

...Mind you, taking a Gespenst (or a customized version even) would mean GESPENST KICK!, so... Hmmm, we'll see.

If you want a Type S go ahead.
Aw man, probably going to screw up and not get anything done but I kind of have to at least express interest for this. Just need to figure out some super robot ideas I guess.

If you need help, these are the two main Feddie mooks in SRWverse at the time.

It is the 187th year of the Standard Era. Earth and its colonies are in a state of reconstruction, having lost much in the wars against the Divine Crusaders paramilitary force and in the L5 Campaign that defended humanity from the aliens known as the Aerogaters. In the aftermath of the suffering of only six months prior, the once-independent United Colonies were folded into the Federal Government, with its former leader, Brian Midcrid, elected as the new President.

As the individual who once revealed to the world the existence of extraterrestrials that threatened mankind, a disclosure that would later be known as the "Tokyo Manifest", President Midcrid has taken steps to rebuild and rearm the Federation, beginning the "Aegis Project", a plan to refortify Earth by developing and mass-producing humanoid mechs to defend against attack. Asking for solidarity among all humanity, his dream is a world that shall be united in the face of any invasion.

However, trouble lurks in the shadows.

The remnants of the Divine Crusaders still seek to overthrow the Federal Government, and with the help of sympathetic individuals within the administration and military, scheme to establish a new military state in the ashes of the old regime. Mysterious machines with incredible technology have been seen all over planet Earth, their appearance unidentified and purpose unknown. Entities befitting those in storybooks roam in the darkness, possibly hoping to plunge humankind into chaos once more.

It is a new, unbelievable world.

For that reason, certain individuals within the Federation pushed for a specialised task force to investigate these anomalies, hoping to discover the truth of the strange incidents and resolve them before they can threaten the Earth.

This was the birth of the team known as UTX, a squad within the Federation military equipped with experimental tools and weapons for their Personal Trooper mechs, with a mandate to investigate and deal with any dangerous technology they find.

Unofficially, however, their true purpose is far more than that.

To protect humanity, UTX will delve into the darkness to shine light on all that is unknown.

Yeah, that's a long spiel that gives some quick background on what this is. So, it's a Super Robot Wars OG RPG, but you don't need to have played SRW to get an idea of what the premise is. You play as a member of a special investigative team with giant robots that's tasked to deal with strange anomalies, military bases that shouldn't exist, secret projects without any record, remnants of alien influence, foreign incursions, and just generally the weird stuff that happens in a mecha world.

That's why you've been equipped with the weird. So you can fight the weird.

Aiming for a general investigative RPG that sometimes involves giant robot fights.

Seeing how many people are up for this.

PHILIA VON EINZBERN
Roof, Stephansplatz, Vienna

Although being carried bridal-style across the rooftops of Vienna on a moonlit night were not within any of her expectations for how their journey would go, Philia von Einzbern's reaction to being suddenly scooped up was no more than a simple, audible jolt of surprise, one that was quickly smoothed over as she adapted to the sensation of being carried. It may not have been a method of transport she would have considered in any other situation, but there was surprisingly little discomfort in it, with Archer's powerful arms maintaining a stable hold of her body as they leapt through the air. Even the chill of the wind was less prominent than she had thought it would be.

Landing on the northern tower was a logical choice. The homunculus mentally approved of her Servant's decision, noting that it would be far easier to conceal their presence from any members of the public that were still present this late in the evening, as well as enemy Masters who may have been watching the Church. She moved the latter thought further up on the list of issues they would possibly need to resolve: given the likelihood of other factions in the Heaven's Feel ritual to know of the Roman Catholic Church's policy towards Grail, it was not unwise to assume that they would be observing St. Stephen's Cathedral for any suspicious activity. In order to not draw any attention, which was admittedly unlikely, they would need to be inconspicuous in their movements.

"We should head down," said Philia, her eyes cooling observing the mosaiced rooftop and the towers for a moment. There were numerous Devil-related incidents associated with St. Stephen's, such as the legend that the wind and rain that plagued the skies around the Stephansplatz (fortunately yet to afflict her and her Servant) was the work of that being. They were interesting tidbits of information to consider, but there was little need to focus so heavily on them at the current moment.

She planned out her course of action.

The objective was to meet with any representative of the Roman Catholic Church present within the cathedral, which would effectively serve as neutral ground due to the unwillingness of most magi to bring the wrath of God's men upon them. Important considerations when entering included maintaining a discreet presence, both to hide from the public, and to minimise how much information any factions watching could glean from their appearance.

Philia craned her neck up to look at Archer.

"Do you have any other clothing?" she asked, noting the clear Near Eastern fashion sensibilities of her Servant. They were millennia out of date with what was viewed as acceptably chic in modern Vienna. "It may be necessary to reduce your profile in case any Masters or Servants are nearby or observing the Church."

It was equally possible that a faction could attempt to ambush them before they entered the cathedral. That was another situation they would need to prepare for. When faced against unknowns, however, there was little they could do but act with caution, and keeping Archer's identity difficult to ascertain was one particular path they could take.
OOC testing post. Please ignore this and go about with your day.

EDIT: Nothing wrong here.
For fun.

Shuai Taidan - Hallways

"A ranger? Me?"

Shuai Taidan smiled, reaching out with a delicate hand to brush his pinkish-brown bangs away from his large, cheery eyes. He was totally not a ranger, even if the ranger dude looked like a feisty, energetic guy with super cool digs who he sure would've wanted to be if he was a ranger. It was really fun though. Not that he knew it for sure, because he definitely wasn't that handsome-looking Hottie Ranger.

"I'm flattered, but a cute and cuddly guy like me isn't fiery enough to be a slick and awesome ranger, right?" he asked innocently. Then another thought came to him, and his purple eyes brightened. "Oh! I'm Taidan! Shuai Taidan! Nice to meetcha!"

PHILIA VON EINZBERN
Apartment, Innere Stadt, Vienna

"If another party has found her, then they shall be rid of," Philia declared. That was the obvious solution to such an issue if it were to arise. It was the logical path to take in order to most quickly and efficiently ensure the safety of the Lesser Grail. There was no need to take emotions into the equation when they would have no effect on the course she would choose. What an enemy thought and what they believed meant nothing to her at the moment, and if they did, she would simply act in a manner that would best take advantage of them. However, she did not need to consider them now.

She had yet to discover who they were. Wasting time on what they hypothetically could be like was nonoptimal.

"A likely faction in this ritual is the Church," she continued, moving to her window. At night, the only lights that illuminated the city were those of other dwellings or the lamps on the street. However, they were still enough to allow her clear sight of the church spire that rose out of Vienna's centre, the Stephansplatz. She did not know if the Romans were participating, but making contact with its representatives was a logical first step. "We should first meet with them. It is likely that we may encounter other participants in the process."

Hopefully, it would not occur. Yet it was something that needed to be considered.

"From there, we should head south and explore Liesing. The lower population density increases the likelihood of a magus being present."
