Well I am a DC fan, I just like their stories better and all of their characters just seem better
Nope. I'm not going there. No more talk of whose better.
God, I go to college for a day and all this happens. Alright, hang on. Let me get the girl outta the way, recover from her minor heart attack, and get brutal brutal revenge on Heat Wave. Can I break most of his bones?
I think DC can pull something off that's great, they have the better universe
I am cutting this converation off RIGHT NOW. Not because I'm being an ass, but because I'm sick and tired of having this idiotic discussion over who is the better company when I like them both equally for opposite reasons. DC=Better Villains, Marvel=Better Heroes. In the end, your opinion is your opinion and mine is mine. Look, I just met you, let's not do this ridiculous dance. Please? (And yes, they can pull off something great... but Infinity War. Sorry. After that (unless they do World War Hulk) I do think DC will get a chance to shine. So long as their animation doesn't suffer. If it does, I'm smacking DC right in their smug faces)
Does it make weird that I went 'awwwww' when Question saved Armoury?
I just went, "Aaaaaah, great" with a complimentary eye-roll. But I still find it amusing.
As the battle raged, Armory did her best to keep up with the others. She hadn't had much... okay, ANY training in the hero arts and was mostly relying on her suit to keep her alive. As such she mostly focused on getting civilians out of the area while dodging bursts of fire. As she hoped around trying to keep from getting barbecued, she became satisfied that there were no more innocents in harm's way and directed her attention to the blazing villain. "Okay, Pal. I think it's time put you down" she said, reaching behind her back and pulled out the handle of a sword, as it unfolded into a full-length katana "You now what they say... Kill 'em with Kindness" she giggled, darting towards Heat Wave while using her great agility to keep his attention fully focused on her while keeping her skin from getting darker "Come on. you big bad super villain. I thought you were better than this? I'm getting bored" she taunted, infuriating the man as he fired another stream of... well, fire. As Armory giggled it off, they both heard something. Something that made Armory stop cold "Mommy! Mommy! Where are you?" Without missing a beat, Heat Wave pointed his gun at the little girl. "Shit, NO!" Armory cried, darting towards the child as fast as she could just as the bastard fired. It didn't take long for the stream of pure heat to overtake her, as she pushed her cybernetics to the absolute limit. But it wasn't enough 'I'm not gonna make it, I'm not gonna make it, I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IT!!!!!!' she cried in her head as she begged for just a little more speed. Suddenly, the back plates of her armor popped open in the shape of wings, revealing six jets. All of which kicked on at the same time, propelling Armory forward just enough as she grabbed the girl and held her close, barely avoiding the flames of hell. Unfortunatly, Armory was paralyzed by a sudden burst of pain from her heart. She was helpless as Heat Wave walked up to her, and without a word pointed his gun right in her face, ready to burn them both alive...
Did you guys hear? It's official... Spiderman is now a part of the MCU!
Well... one movie for sure.
Yep and I still think DC will kill it with their slate of movies, better characters in my opinion
Maybe better villains, but considering I DESPISE the concept of Batman, I don't care that he's in it. Besides, Marvel has been building up for nearly a decade and found their pace, making awesome movies, leading up to Infinity War with no flops so far. DC... no quite so much. Man of Steel split the fanbase so hard that DC decided that in the sequel, fucking BATMAN gets top billing (since DC has no faith in anything but Batman), Green Lantern, which was SUPPOSED to start the DCCU flopped (not sure why), Dark Knight Rises was decent until it was revealed that Bane was someone else's bitch (and seriously? THAT'S how they portray the torn figure of Talia? Maybe Nyssa, but TALIA!?), The Joker: The Movie was fan-fucking-tastic... but only for the reason I just stated, Begins was a good origin, and before that.... well, let's not talk about before that. Personally I think if DC is so goddamn desperate to catch up to Marvel (and why should they be? Both companies put out equally good stuff), they should follow a similar business model. What is so fucking wrong with copying a WINNING strategy. So what if Marvel did it first. I personally want to see Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and whoever else developed into solid characters WORTHY of being heroes before they just go "Let's smash em together. You don't need their backstories". And yes, I know Guardians did a similar thing with even lesser known characters, but to be fair, none of the Guardians operate alone. The Avengers and the Justice League DO. So LOGIALLY, we should see them do their hero thing first. But that's just me. EDIT: Oops... ranted there. I dislike DC's heroes in general. They're all idiots to me. But some of them (Green Lantern. The Flash. Green Arrow) are pretty cool.
Thats a damn shame, Garfield was the best bit about those Spider-Man movies. Oh well, I hope they don't end up showing us another origin story then. At this point I think everyone knows that Peter Parker is the last son of the dead planet Krypton, and its our yellow sun that allows him to stalk the cowardly and superstitious criminals of Gotham city, after having Professor X lace his bones with adamantium in a cave, with a box of scraps.
I know, right! Although I did enjoy everything about the Amazing Spider-Man over the Whiny Spider-Man. Also, Oh, dear. Looks like Armory's in a spot of trouble. Who wants to rescue the Ninja in Silver Armor?
Dani fell off the bed and onto her head with loud *THUMP* "Atatatatatat! Ow" she mumbled out as she righted herself. To say she overestimated this kid was an understatement. She was kept expecting him to drop the act any minute and act like a real pirate. But so far, he remained... well, blunt and kinda stupid. Not to mention, those beam cannons were a top secret project. She'd have to plug the leak. And she already knew who it was... damn blabbermouth. Anyways, "About that. Those aren't complete yet. In fact, I haven't started them yet. Still in the developmental process. Well... cept that one. But it's not for sale. Sorry to disappoint. Anything else you folks need?" She asked, giving an enormous yawn. She was starting to get sleepy an bored.
I'll post tomorrow. Although really not sure what I can do. My only exposure to Heat Wave and Girder was The Flash tv show (which is AWESOME, by the way) and Captain Cold... I've seen him around. Mostly The Flash on CW. As for Spinning Top? WTF?
Okay. We can have her fight for a bit, before getting knocked out. Or maybe we'll keep her awake. Depends on how much difficulty we have in controlling her.
I have an idea. When the attack starts, Natsu can be buried or knocked unconscious. Then you can wake her up when you come back. If we finish the fight, we'll bring your body on board.
Sure. Why not. But not quite yet. Maybe if we all push the story, we can get started in one to two posts each.
Yeah sorry guy's had a double shift without getting any sleep Friday then opened yesterday and partied all afternoon and night with my wife for her birthday and then had to open again today with only two hours of sleep and had my other pair of hands call in sick so I had to do two people's job. I've been in fights that didn't take this much out of me LOL ~KL~
Jesus. Suddenly being in college doesn't feel so bad.
