Star Wars RPG mindblock. HeLp!

I'm wanting to start an Star Wars Role Play with my friends and I want to test my Ideas here on the guild. I have plans for everyone to meet on a cruiser named Icarus returning to Coruscant. The people who would be Jedi would be returning because of the Beacon asking them to return to the Temple because war was over. Not knowing Vader rigged it. I need something to happen to the ship so that they must use Escape pods and land on a crap planet... But... WHAT? Gravity Well is just to boring but my last resort. Pirates maybe....

I would like to start a simple High School campaign and see where it goes. I would set it in Free just to give you freedom about your writing.
