Where on earth did you get a gif with Snape smiling?
Terrance Nestan

Terrance was busy looking around the area of the castle when they first got off the boats, and subsequently wasn't easily found by Cal. When they were lined up and he was put into Slytherin, he was rather surprised for a moment, before smirking evilly as he walked jauntily over to his table and watched the rest of the students get sorted. After the headmistress gave the word for the feast to begin, and food started appearing on their plates, Terrance took the opportunity to introduce himself. "Greetings, Slytherin minions! I am your new dark lord and master Terrance, don't worry, I promise not to feed anyone to any basilisks for at least the next two months. Now, it should be noted that I am in the market for a chief minion, so if anyone wishes to apply, the application process is simple, I'll release all two hundred and fifteen pages of the user agreement and disclaimers sometime within the next weeks." He bows flamboyantly, sweeping up a plate of eclairs in the process, before sitting down to consume his spoils with his mischievous smirk on his face.
Gah, I had planned on having Terrance find Cal, but I got sidetracked and delayed too long...am I on that sorting list? I hadn't seen my character's name.

[Edit] I took a second look, and am suddenly very surprised. I got Slytherin!? Mwahahahaha...>:)
The Ranger could quite clearly see the monster stop...apparently aware of his presence...and wait, evidently planning on letting the Ranger come to him. A clever action, considering the circumstances...and the elf doubted that the creature would have done the same if he was not utterly aware of Cruallassar's actions. It had already shown itself as having an uncanny awareness of its surroundings before, without apparently the need for sight considering that its eyes were practically nonexistant. Some kind of ethereal sense like his own? Sonar, like the bats it seemed to somewhat reassemble? Probably not a ground vibration sense, considering it was equally aware of himself and arrows in flight as on the ground, or if it did then it wasn't it's only asset. It had no magical aspect to its aura, so nothing in that way.

Whatever it's senses, it was obviously willing to wait for the time being. Normally, Cruallassar would do the same...he was in better shape than his opponent, the wound to his eyes notwithstanding, and could probably wait longer. But the creature was not trapped, and could easily escape, and the part of the tunnel he was blocking was not a seemingly vital part of the underground network. Cruallassar himself could engage the creature in any tunnel it fled to...but trying to ambush him anywhere was a likely losing proposition. Much better to strengthen his web now, while the creature was halted. He shifts into ethereal shadows, diving through the rock and emerging into the tunnel leading from the monster to the surface, and fires two more of his net-trap arrows, erecting a similar web to the one he already left behind, before repeating the process.
EEEEGGSELENT!!!
Terrance Neston

When the lights go out, Terrance is just a fraction of a second behind Cal in his own Lumos spell, looking outside through the other side of the door window. He looks just long enough to see the shadowy figures running around before he promptly steps back to the other side of the car, wand raised at the door. He didn't actually think he would be able to stand a chance against a real wizard...but hey, it was all he could really do...and his dad had taught him a shielding spell, so why not? Before long though, he sees a flash of red light through the window and hears someone walking briskly past. "Well, I'll give you one guess as to who might be attacking the Hogwarts Express...right after a related news article...for reasons beyond my comprehension...I do hope they aren't here for rich students' pocket money."
Postponing until the 27th is acceptable to me.
The armored guardian tilts his helm down a fraction to view the comer in red, his ice-blue eyes coldly regarding her from behind the eye-slit. In a voice proud and strong, he replies to her declaration. "I know you want it enough to come from far, far away, as did all who came before you. I know you are here to take it, if you can, as did all who came before you. I do not know if you will succeed, or if you will fail, as did all who came before you. Before you learn what it is you came to obtain, and choose whether or not to lay claim to it, you must prove yourself worthy. Are you prepared to test yourself against me?" His statement, with not a hint of condescension, nor admiration, merely the neutral respect given an unknown opponent, rang forth over the muted sounds of the wind and snow. Yet even so, his figure remained still, beyond his initial motion.
@Cruallassar
Ah sorry, its the day after Christmas

Ah, ok then.
@Cruallassar@Doc Doctor
Hey sorry for the lull, I wasnt really sure where to go with this and it seems that we've come to a bit of a stalemate. I have my next move figured out but with Christmas coming up Lunars away at his parents place for the time being. So how about we put this on hold until Boxing Day?

Also Merry Christmas :)

Sounds good to me. I've been assuming it is your turn to post, so putting it on hold seems fine until Christmas past. But...ah...when is Boxing day?
