Vidori "Sellgun" Selgan

Selgan flashes a condescending smile at the secretary as he walks into the major's office, his expression back to casual and business-like as the major sits down again facing him, and he takes his own seat opposite, while sliding a datapad with the list of targets across to the Major. "I think you'll probably want that second question answered first. My name is Vidori Selgan. As for how you can help me, that is an excellent question. I have a short list of five people here in Coronet with targets painted on their backs, and a number of bounty hunters here who intend to collect on their heads. I personally represent a third party who would like them to keep their heads, but that means getting to them before the...competition. In addition, on a more personal level, I would like to know exactly why it is that certain third and fourth parties are interested in these people. Now of course, you are Corsec, probably the best planetary law enforcement agency in the galaxy, which means you probably have files on each of these people, plus access to every security camera in the city which can help me find both them, and the other hunters. So how can you help me? You can give me access to those files and cameras, and you can help me try to make life difficult for the competition."

Yeah, sorry about that. Still trying to figure out where to go with the IC post, as well.

Which part?
@Cruallassar Check the links goven. The Shadoqsuit was around 600 Credits whilst the Cresh Luck was sold for 500 Credits. Its not nearly as expensive as the 15k anti blaster armor.

...that makes no sense. What source provides these costs? There's no way some simple durasteel plates to defend against blasters cost more than some exotic body-suit made of rare materials that absorbs light, or a wearable sensor suit.
Vidori "Sellgun" Selgan

Sellgun walks straight into the CorSec office through the front door and straight up to the receptionist, who gives him a stock greeting. He nods and smiles and responds, "Good day miss, I need to talk to the highest ranking person you have on site, preferably one with your tactical response teams, oh and feel free to mention the word 'pending assassination' to him to get him to see me." One hand surreptitiously flicks a camera onto the underside of her desk with a view of the door. His weapons and gear is nicely concealed under his coat.
@Cruallassar I don't know, I intended my character a cheapy one. Her gear is around 2000 creds and the rest of her money went into her ship. And I did say she can't handle money well. I won't have a 15k starting armor XD

Cheapy one with that kind of gear? Yeah, a shadowsuit can't be anything less than at least ten thousand, and that's probably on the low end. Same goes for that other suit. DL-18s are pretty common, but that sniper rifle you already have seems like a slightly un-cheap piece of gear, if not super high-end. There's no way that starting armor is less than 15k already. :p
@Cruallassar :P

Yeah I don't know. I prefer kinetic weapons because as obselete they sound in a sci fi setting, kinetic energy is FAR deadlier than heat based weapons if used correctly. My opinion.

As for the flaws I am still waiting on Heat to lecture me.

Ah, that's all. Yes, I do agree, which is why it my custom sci-fi settings I tend to have energy-sheathed projectile weapons, usually magnetic accelerators. However, if you want a projectile weapon in Star Wars, might I suggest a Verpine sniper rifle? Used by Clone Commandos with Mandalorian friends with deep pockets, and Mandalorians with deep pockets, and absolutely adored by each. Or a bowcaster, it uses explosive rounds.
@Cruallassar
I wanted to make a really mean post to respond to that, but my spider sense tingled and reminded me how many times I fucked up cause I was a mean asshole. So here are the answers in a numerical order.

1. read given link
2. read given link
3. Yeah but does it hurt if I clarify? Also not used to plasma, and I don't even like it
4. Thank you mate, but I was referring to my serch results, rather than actual trivia. This "advice" really hurts my long years of Star Wars fandom
5. I mean meh I was tired at that point. And technically speaking they could be balanced and unbalanced given the context

Yes, your spider sense did well. (Much as I absolutely looove verbally slaughtering mean a-holes...like the odd Leage of Legends player while I'm playing Heroes of the Storm, pure bliss...I do prefer it when people assume that everyone in the conversation has intelligence and does not deserve their ire unless proven otherwise.)

1: I stand informed.
2: I stand informed.
3: Why don't you like plasma? I just pointed it out because people in the SW galaxy apparently don't refer to plasma that much.
4: ...clarify? And yes, I have a great many years of Star Wars fandom, so I apologize, however it seemed to initially read like someone who quickly read up on a bunch of Star Wars stuff to give their cool character. Again, my apologies for this misread.
5: Context has basically been given, but again...it was just an observation.
Query: How exactly does her shadowsuit reduce her visibility? (I am of course presuming that it is her visibility to her enemies, not her own ability to see.)
Query: Does her other suit inform her of ALL movement nearby, or just the movement of enemies? And if the latter, how the heck does it do that?
Observation: Technically, most weapons in the SW galaxy are plasma weapons, you don't need to specify that for your DL-18.
Advisement: Star Wars ships that are not X-wings are rather easy to find, you just have to look. At all. Example: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Stars..
Observation: Those skills and flaws don't look very balanced to each other at all. Kinda like they don't even try to be. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, that depends on Heat, just an observation.
Yes. All of that.
So when will the next post happen? Wishfully within the next few weeks...
