Bio

Well. Where to start. I've been roleplaying for about 6 years, and writing for about that long too. Originally I started as a discord roleplayer, but i've branched out more into online forums recently, though I do still use a multitude of platforms. My main focus is on the fantasy genre, and adore all things medieval. It would have to be one of my favourite sections of fantasy. But, on the other hand i'm very partial to modern superhero roleplays. While I don't have much experience with it, i'm also interested in dabbling with some horror too (though i think i much prefer reading and watching it than actively roleplaying it).

I'm British, so i'm in the GMT timezone. Then again, i'm also mostly nocturnal, so i'll be on at all odd hours of the day and night.

Usually i'll do 18+ roleplays (take that how you may), but i do do some clean too. Those ones are rare though, because i find them somewhat dull unless there's another aspect to it. What can I say. I'm a british villain partial to violence.

The long walk down further into the facility had Lau practically asleep on his feet, his eyes pretty much closed. It seemed like he was almost sleep walking, though his pace remained even and controlled, signalling that he was very much awake even if he wanted to start to drift off. Yawning softly he stretched his arms out above his head, his shoulders clicking softly before he dropped his hands into his pockets.

Their final entry into the room was almost underwhelming as he glanced around curiously, his gaze finally landing on the containers hanging on the opposite wall. Either those were some oddly shaped lockers, or they contained their Crimson Arms. Lau could feel his fingers twitch slightly in mild excitement at the prospect before glancing up to the ceiling where he could only assume the intercom was located, until his gaze landed on the window high above them. The observer was female and seemingly rather young, though it didn't exactly phase him as he glanced across the other people in his group.

Reaching up he rubbed the back of his neck anxiously before turning back to the commander, listening intently as his gaze drifted back over to the containers before trailing after some of the girls, taking his spot in front of his container before stopping to watch them as they came into possession of the weapons.

Glancing around, he waited patiently as some of his counter parts headed for their containers, watching curiously as slowly each reached for their weapons. What appeared to be side effects of coming into contact with the weapons had his brow raising slightly as he glanced down at his own container, his fingers drumming against his leg. Reaching out he flipped back the lid, tilting his head slightly when his gaze landed on the sleek trench knife. Casting one last glance down the line he reached out, fingers curling around the handle and slipping between the handguard as he pulled the knife out, only to have the heat run through him, flinching as a wave of electricity rolled through his body. Taking a sharp intake of breath he stumbled slightly before catching himself on the wall beside the container. For the first time in a long time he had the appearance of being fully awake, eyes slightly wide as he shook his head, trying to clear it before straightening up, twisting the knife around in his hand cautiously. He expected some form of side effect, but feeling like he had been struck by lightning was not something he could've predicted. His body was still tingling, almost like pins and needles but resided just above the skin, prickling in an almost ticklish maner.
Lance Gunnar - Amund

Lance has a certain spring in her step as she skipped along the mostly deserted street, all to aware of the sirens calling out their desperate whales into the night, blue and red splashed against the walls of the buildings they passed by, casting a soft light over the girl as she moved along. Perhaps she could watch the blaze. Maybe do some work while she was at it. If the police and emergency services were so occupied, it meant that the scum of the streets would be more active. At the thought, a slow, broad smirk crossed her face, concealed beneath the strip of fabric covering the lower half of her face.

As she approached the scene, her fingers drifted over the knives dangling off of her hips, finger tip tracing the curve of one of the sheathed blades, ready to draw it free and send it singing through the air with pinpoint accuracy. Her tongue flicked over her lips. This would surely be a fun night.

Her pace slowed as she drew closer, her gaze drifting to a glinting wet patch on the floor. Of course it wouldn't be rare for suspicious liquids to be found in the alley, but this was different. Red, and not just from the lights of the emergency vehicles. Blood? Looked like someone had gotten way ahead of themselves. So long as they were at least harming the correct people, she supposed she could let it slide. They were assisting her. A hero in their own right, though that would be decided when she got to the bottom of the source.

Dropping a sleek metal board from her hand, she let it drop to the ground, the clatter of it drowned out by the screaming sirens close by. Stepping over the plank, she slowly lifted her hand, drawing it up beneath her before slowly pulling it off there ground, her mind focusing on the action as she was slowly sent up into the sky, board bobbing closer to the edge of a roof before she lept down off of it, drawing it back into her hand. It required enough focus that she didn't use the board often, but still convenient enough for her to carry it with her.

Lowering close to the rooftop, she slowly started to jog along, gaze down on the street below as she tried to follow the trail of glistening blood, though it seemed she didn't need its help. Voices. Voices were good.

A man in armour. Unusual, though then again everything that was going on in that moment was unusual. A man bathed in bloodied armour, and another man surrounded by five crimson palms. That was certainly an unusual sight. Hopping over to the edge of the wall, she quickly sat down, her legs swinging idly as she gazed down at the two, mild amusement caught in her dark eyes.

Kali Inigo - Scorch

Just as she expected, the morning rush was quick to come bustling through the door. It was usual for them to be swamped early in the morning before a few hours rest, then lunch. Business slowed down a lot in the evening, which gave the two baristas enough time to rest aching feet and catch their breath. The rush had Chris and Kali hard pressed to keep up, the two practically dancing around each other. After a couple of years working together like this, the work was getting easier to manage, the ding of the bell alerting them each time someone entered and exited. It was at least nice to have such a warning.

Glancing up from the cup of coffee she was preparing, she managed to catch sight of a flash a bright blond hair before glancing away, carefully putting the cap on the takeaway cup before taking it over to the edge of the counter, calling out the name she had doodled onto the edge of the cup. Once the coffee was picked up, she switched places with Chris at the till, the two alternating as they took and made orders.

After one last rotation, she moved back to the till, coming face to face with the owner of the blond hair she had caught sight entering earlier. While Kali wasn't the most hospitable person outside of the cafe, within the premises she was the picture of hospitality, bright grin on her lips which caused a certain amount of strain on her facial scars, though she dare not drop it. The owners wouldn't be happy if they got bad reviews about a frowning barista. "Good morning. What can I get you today?" Her voice was happy, though the low tone offset that slightly. It almost seemed like she had been smoking intently for the past few years, though she supposed it wasn't far from the truth. "Kali" She filled in the blank left by the shorter woman, raising a hand to tap the nametag on the right side of her apron.

She took note on the slight flush on the woman's cheeks but pushed it away, instead focusing on imputing the order into the display of the cash register. "That'll be $5. Eat in or to go?"

Despite being stood up, the young man appeared to have dozed off through the minimal time of the commander speaking. It seemed as if even having to listen for a few words had broed him to the point that his eyes had slipped shut, his shoulders hunched over slightly though he still maintained a rather stead fast posture. He was faintly aware of the other recruits in line beside him, though paid them no mind. It was quiet for a moment as presumably the officer left, before the silence was broken by a voice. Gunmetal grey eyes slowly drew open, still slanted by sleep as he raised his arms above his head, stretching out till he heard a satisfying pop before running his hand through his dark hair. His hair was tousled and over all appearance somewhat messy, as if he had just rolled out of bed prior to arriving at the gathering. Then again, that wasn't far from the truth. Lau had a tendancy to stay in bed till the very last minute, and often did so subconsciously.

Looking down the row at the girl that spoke, he took a moment to take in her appearance before dragging his gaze back along the rest of the group. Most of these girls barely looked old enough to be enrolled in the military, though if they were here he didn't want to judge. All of them were there for a reason, and while they might not look very intimidating, especially when Lau towered over most, he wasn't about to challenge them.

After a reluctant moment, he pushed himself into a slow walk, keeping pace with the rest of the group while dragging his feet slightly. He wasn't quite a blind follower, and made a point to look around their surroundings as they followed behind the older man. His expression looked soft, the small, kind smile enhancing the sloped, drowsy eyes he bore. Despite that he kept his mind active, doing his best to keep track of each person in the group all at once.

"I suppose this will be interesting." He mused idly in response to the girls idle conversation, voice raspy with sleep, another yawn escaping his lips in response to the girls own.
Kali Inigo - Scorch

Rolling onto her side with a long groan, Kali carefully positioned herself on her left hand side, tentatively drawing her legs up into her chest as she wrapped herself into a ball beneath her sheets. Despite being half asleep, she could already feel the waves of pain start to ascend over her body, shudders shooting through her from head to toe, her body rocking slightly in response to the pain. Eyes squeezing shut, Kali could only wait for the liquid heat rolling through her veins to fade. Hissing softly she pushed herself up into a sitting position, blankets falling around her waist. Stretching tentatively, she swung her bed off the side of the lonely mattress, pushing herself up onto her feet.

Casting a half asleep look around her room, she grunted softly before going around picking up what clothing she could, tossing away the small fragments and decimated shards of what would've been last nights clothing. She really needed to pick a cheaper outfit to replace.

She could still feel the strain she had put on her body last night. It was likely why her burns were screaming with each movement. Of course she had to push herself too hard before a work day. Kali had to admit though. No matter how much she ached the next morning, and how dangerous it was to be out as an independent, it payed itself off. The deep satisfaction of helping someone or getting some gangbangers of the street always reminded her why she wanted to do this kind of work. Why she wanted to keep helping others. It was deeply ingrained in her body from her years as a firefighter, a fact she was proud of.

Exiting the bedroom, she instantly made her way through to the bathroom, flinging open the medicine cabinet, pulling out a select few pill bottles and a tub of moisturiser. Tucking the items under her arm, she moved into the kitchen, going about her early morning ritual of making herself a cup of coffee before inhaling it and the pain killers. Leaving the tub out on the side, she replaced the pill bottles in her cabinet, showering before applying the moisturiser to her burn scars before cleaning up the remaining mess and smudges on her couch from the process.

Dressed in blue jeans, blue trainers and a grey long sleeve shirt, she made her way to her front door, backpack slung over her left shoulder in preparation of what she might need for the day. Pausing at the front door, she grabbed a blue snapback from a hook on the wall, slipping it over her dark brown hair to hold her fringe in place, concealing most of the scarring that flowed from her eye to neck.

Exiting the small apartment, she paused only to lock the door before jogging down the hall to the stairs, taking them three at a time. While she knew she had plenty time to get to work, she always prefered to be a bit early. It gave her enough time to settle down and get comfortable while familiarising herself with the layout of the cafe. She may be a long time employee, but it didn't hurt to ensure no one had moved things around.

Coming up on the cafe, she walked around back, opening the door to the employees lounge with her key before slipping inside, flicking on the lights. The sun had just started to pique over the roof tops, the sight eliciting a yawn from her. Awake through most of the night and up early in the mornings. It likely wasn't a healthy sleep schedule, but it was one she was accustomed to.

Taking a seat in the lounge, she drew her cap down over her face before dosing off, waking up a few hours later by the clink of keys in the lock of the front door. In the dead silence of the cafe, the sound was almost deafening. Sighing softly, she begrudgingly pealed herself up off of the seat, stretching out before grabbing the apron off of the chair beside her, slinging it over her neck before tying it off behind her, making her way out to the front of the cafe.

"Kali! Jesus Christ woman. Don't scare me like that" A deep voice rumbled, the man in front of her placing a hand over his chest as he let out a dry chuckle, earning a small smile from the woman in question. "Arrive earlier then and i won't have to hide in the darkness" She said simply, voice shockingly low for a woman, the sound almost scratchy with a raspiness to it which came from the damage her lungs had endured throughout the years. "Yeah yeah". The man waved her off, brushing past her o grab his own apron from off of the wall, coming out from the back room a few moments later, running a hand through slicked back blond hair.

Tossing her a cloth from his pocket, Chris adjusted the tag on the front of his apron before moving to clean some of the tables that were set out, Kali shaking her head at him before wiping down the counter. Opening time was closing in on the two, so they moved quick. It wasn't long after the door opened that the two were set to work aiding the early morning commuters.
