As said by Saz above, you certainly seem like an interesting individual based on your introduction and I hope to meet you again at some point on the Guild. Regarding your question about the 100k character limit - I have no idea if it's even possible to meet said limit, but perhaps another creative individual will come along at some point to figure it out.

Day 15 // A song people wouldn't expect you to like.

Oath - Cher Lloyd ft. Becky G

Ah, yes. Cher Lloyd. A singer whose popularity died out as quickly as it began.

Now don't get me wrong, I actually really like Cher Lloyd's music and being that I'm from New Jersey, there is always some room in my heart for Pop music. Cher Lloyd happens to fall there along with a few other songs people wouldn't expect me to like such as Brokenhearted by Karmin and Applause by Lady Gaga. Although the two previously named songs were considered long before Oath, I ultimately decided on choosing Oath for one reason: I actively hide the fact that I both like and listen to this song. I don't know why I do, but I do. I'd rather be caught listening to Cake By The Ocean than this song and I DON'T KNOW WHY.

Nobody even KNOWS this song.

The only reason that I really know this song is because it was popular right around Hurricane Sandy. I was in one of the directly effected areas and we were without television and power for a few days and ended up relying on my battery powered radio (I suppose it's good that I was the weirdest kid ever and listened to RADIO still - what a scandal!) during that time period. I was also in a Roleplay through Skype with one of my best friends and a mutual friend of ours during that period of time and it really helped me keep my shit together. This song, in a way, also reminds me of said best friend (but shhh, he doesn't know that).

I also had a character named Oath. Not that either of them caught that though.

I'm seeing good characters from @BKburke and @Lucius Cypher! Both are accepted! Feel free to drop your respectable character into the "Character" Tab whenever you two get a free moment.

I know his clothing isn't exactly uh...medieval, but I can come up with another outfit if need be.

I can probably always post at least once a day if I'm accepted, but more then once might prove difficult since I have a full-time job :/

That's fine, we can pretend it's medieval. As for your comment regarding when you can post: don't stress about it. I made this Roleplay to ease into the school year myself and my last wish is for anyone to become worried about it (hence why I dropped it in Free). Post whenever you are free and don't stress yourself out over it.

Aside from that, your character looks good and is accepted. Drop him into the "Character" Tab whenever you get a moment.

Within the past decade or so, a certain kingdom has managed to flourish in what some have chosen to refer to as a "golden age". This particular kingdom is a rather small one that is surrounded by lush forests and filled to the brim with a variety of diverse species and their cultures. Naviance. A land that has been thought of as "peaceful" by many is about to find its reign of relaxation coming to an abrupt end.

It has almost been a month since a certain shockwave hit the country. The king's health has begun to fail and is set on a destiny that will lead to death sooner than later. Although the queen has done a fine enough job keeping the kingdom running, it seems that talk of rebellion has begun to spark and Naviance's neighboring countries have become hostile to the kingdom and one another. Panic is slowly starting to seep into the kingdom, but for now, a facade of normalcy has kept strong.

For most.

Ignorance is not bliss for everyone and for one reason or another, you find yourself being recruited by a mysterious witch doctor and the king himself to embark on a quest for a cure. Offered a money reward and a chance to explore the world around you, you are sent off on the journey of your lifetime with a handful of strangers, minimal supplies and your own skills.

With the burden that could make or break a country, one could only wonder: what in the world will happen?
