Day 30 (Final) // A song that you haven’t listened to in awhile.
Many years ago, back when I was a little sprout in elementary school, I had a best friend. Her name was Briann and she liked Pokemon, fashion and was a complete and total weeb. We used to play Sims 2 for the PS2 on the weekends and if you know anything about the Sims, you'd know that EA incorporates music that is popular around the time of the game into the game. Pressure by Paramore was one of the songs that you could access through the radio even though it was in Simlish.
One day, I fucked up fairly badly and our friendship broke up. I briefly spoke to her throughout the years, but never seriously.
I did have her in my gym class in tenth grade and when I was talking to her, I found out that her favorite band is Paramore. I didn't make the connection at the time, but I know why: this song has a strong nostalgia for both of us. Three years later and I own the song on my iPOD, but I avoid it like the plague for some reason (it's a good song, so there really shouldn't be any reason).
Today, I'll break that silence and give it a listen!
Looks like this is officially the end of the challenge. I'm proud of myself for actually managing to stay consistent with this challenge, but that's because I refused to do anything hiatus or break related until I finished this. Now that I finished this, I slightly worry that I might vanish from the site for a bit.
