Brothers and sisters are natural enemies. Like casual RPers and Advanced RPers! Or Free RPers and Advanced RPers! Or Nation RPers and Advanced RPers! Or Advanced RPers and other Advanced RPers!

Damn Advanced Roleplayers! They ruined the Advanced section!

I do nothing. I don't see them. We're in the dark.
What the fuck is that abomination.
Just a thread to discuss current events that may (or may) apply to us all such as the fact that the sensationalist media thinks that we are heading towards World War III, airliners are slowly turning into the Hunger Games, Turkey seems to be heading for even more civil unrest, and to nobody's surprise, YouTube is still a garbage platform for creative individuals.

Discuss.

I appreciate this thread more in Roleplaying Discussion.
I don't give a shit. Does that make me both a sexist and a racist?
Guild news. Smh. Ugh... I get irritated whenever that gets brought up.

Not a good idea, then?
People interested.

One of the suggestions was the revival of RPGN or something similar to it, so perhaps tournaments could be planned and advertised in advanced? They could treated almost in a sense similar to "fanfare" and this might be able to work for more advanced tournaments as well. Just a thought as I know that RPGN was responsible for advertising Roleplays and Interest Checks in the past.
That's something that's always been discussed, three issue has ALWAYS been getting people involved.

In a sense of getting people interested or in another sense?
There have been talks of a noob tournament before, might not be a terrible idea.

Just another outsider who is reading all of your comments towards our discussion thread and I just wanted to say that I think this would be a fantastic idea. I know quite a few people who would likely be interested in learning the Arena-based Roleplaying style and would probably benefit from having such an area to begin and receive feedback. It seems like an excellent way to welcome new users into the Arena subforum.
@Cynder Errrr. Maybe for NRP and tabletop and MAAAAAAAAAAYBE advanced. Big maybe. Casual and free? Fuck no. No reason not to try it but I doubt it'll work like it did in arena.

Those sections are absolutely MASSIVE and perhaps it may not work as well for them as it did for Arena, but it could still be an interesting idea to put into place anyway. This, of course, is not anything that I would expect to be put on a priority list, it's just something that came to me while scrolling through Arena's thoughts.
