Anyways, now that you've decided on a Digimon, it is now time to decide a human to go along with it. This will make 3-4 confirmed evolution lines, 4 if @sMoKe can confirm that the Hackmon -> Knightmon line is the one they wish to go with.

Greetings @tobiax! Glad we caught your interest. Would there be any information you'd like to know about this RP?

Also, and this is a question for everyone, what is your timezone time in GMT? The easiest way to find out is to search GMT+1.. GMT+2.. or GMT-1..GMT-2.. until your current time appears, and then post. If anyone knows an easier way to search this up go ahead, but if you're able to understand my incredibly vauge instructions, feel free to post your GMT time.

Reason for asking: It would help to understand each other's timezone's in order to understand why someone may not be on, like it could be 2:00 pm for me, but be like, 2:00 am for someone else. My timezone is GMT-5

@Sheeny I'll tell you a little tip for line creation. Personally, i don't mind if you use, for example, a Digimon in the Champion level as a Rookie level Digimon. With that being said, i think Honeybeemon -> Flymon could be cool?

@Sheeny Don't worry, i'm always finicky on what Digimon i'm gonna use ^^; As for that choice, if you do find something different, i recommend you use that, since your current line seem's rather generic and overused? Just my opinion i guess. Something to spice it up would always be welcomed uvu

@Sheeny Glad to had you! This RP will be a mix of the Tamer concept, such as how Digimon are partnered, as well as Adventures grandiose world building. I actually should review the D-Reaper portion of Tamers tbh, heh, anyways. Take your time with deciding, there are plenty of lines at your display and one of them should stand out to you at one point of another. If not, i would not know the difference if you rehashed a Digimon from another RP since this is literally the only Digimon RP i'v been in on this site. And if at any point you need help, i'm always here!

@sMoKe The use of alternate colors has always been a thing in Digimon, Agumon, for example, boy if i had a nickle for all the variants that Agumon and his evolutions went through, i'd be rich. Agumon, BlackAgumon, SnowAgumon, Agumon 2006, BlackAgumon 2006, Agumon Hakase, Agumon X, just to name a few.
My point is, if you wish to use a vairied version of a Digimon, go ahead, as long as the colors look good with what you're going for. (also it's a common theme that Digimon are Data IRL and IDL, so we'll go with digital and not organic)

As for evolution lines, i typically do factor personality after the evolution line has been decided, since i don't see the two as needing to correspond. Everything is still in the beta, and we wont start before everyone is certain as to what they want.

what would reverting to fresh mean in terms of game

An good example would probably be the first time Agumon Digivolved to MetalGreymon, when the period of being at the Ultimate level ended, he reverted back to Koromon.
Similarly speaking, the first time Paildramon was formed, if we were to 'assume' he was a Mega for the moment, when the period of being at the Mega level ended, they would revert back to Chibomon and Leafmon.
This is just a balancing rule so that we dont have anyone abusing the Evolution system.
As for run time of stages.. no. Rookie is the most basic of stages for a Digimon to maintain, it may be true that as time goes by it gets easier to maintain forms, but at no point should the Digimon simply stay at the Champion stage. Tailmon was a special occasion in Adventure, but i believe the reason for her Champion maintaining was the fact that she had WAY WAY more endurance for that sort of thing. If you wish to have a Champion level digimon as a partner, however, that will have to be discussed, as certain digimon work and others dont.

@Windicator In reality, art terms aren't very hard to understand if you're really trying, so i can understand what you mean when you say Secondary Colors (the term Secondary Colors actually means to mix two Primary Colors, just so you know)
Accent is a better term in general to use when referring to the side colors, bringing the original color a new blend with side colors.
Yellow and darker colors like Purple, Black, and Dark Grey work fine, as long as you can mix them appealingly.

On a side note about Evolution, i will state that there is a basic ruling as to defeat and reverting
If a Champion Digimon is defeated, they revert back to their Rookie form.
If a Ultimate Digimon is defeated, they revert back to their InTraining form,
and as followed, if a Mega Digimon is defeated, they revert back to their Fresh form.
This can fluctuate as the power of the Digimon increase over time, but as it stands this is the set rules when it comes to being defeated.
