Florence was slightly caught off guard by Michael's advice after he had taken care of the last standing walker. It was a clean strike, taking care of it for good. "Their backs?" Florence asked him, seemingly bewildered. However, seeing as this really was her only choice, she stood on the first crawler's back, to see what was going to become of this. The other crawler snarled and yapped at their ankles but, if they took care of the first one fast enough, they would be able to get rid of the second one with plenty of time to spare before anymore of these creatures gravitated towards them.
Lancaster Render - Tommie's/Thomas' Apartment - Baylen Denney, Thomas Swindle

Lancaster looked to Baylen, curious to see what was in the envelope that Demaro had given to him. It seemed Baylen was curious too, as he slowly pulled out the contents of the envelope to reveal a large sum of papers, the first one appearing to be a floor plan of some sort. He couldn't quite make it out from where he was standing, but he could at least assume what was going on. Baylen's face appeared to clench up once he took a look at the paper, almost as if he was shocked. This made Lancaster nervous all over again, wishing he hadn't ditched his cigarette before entering Tommie's.

"What is it?" He asked Baylen, but received no reply. It seemed he was too clammed up to rationalize. Lancaster took a step closer to Baylen, practically looking over his shoulder as he was still surveying the first paper. It was then that Lancaster realized why Baylen appeared so shaken. Those were floor plans for one of the most loaded banks downtown, the name of the bank printed in the top left corner of the floor plan. Lancaster knew for a fact that finding a way into this place would be no piece of cake - in fact it might just be one of the most dangerous heists they would attempt, posing serious threat of arrest and being caught. "Jesus," Lancaster muttered under his breath. This was big.

"Head to Thomas' apartment and I'll be there in just a minute," Baylen said, seeming rather detached. Lancaster nodded his head slowly, giving him a quick pat on the shoulder and exiting Tommie's before finding his way up to Thomas' apartment. He used the special knock that the gang used on the door, yet receiving no response. Unless Thomas wasn't home, which Lancaster was sure that he was, it was rare that he didn't answer when the knock was used. He resorted to fishing through his jacket pocket to find his wallet where he had a spare key to both the warehouse and Thomas' apartment. Unlocking the door, he entered slowly, finding three guns and ammunition laid across the kitchen table but Thomas was nowhere to be seen. "Thomas?" he called out.
Michael struggled with one of the undead creature, using his hatchet to fend it off. As their altercation commenced and both him and Florence descended down the rickety ladder, the five other walkers had taken notice of their presence and were near to swarming around them. Florence knew the gun shot from any of her guns would be too loud and only summon more of them from other back alleys and streets. The entire city was littered with these creatures. No, guns were out of the question if they wanted to sneak their way around the city. Florence figured her best bet was her metal bat, nestled safely in her back pack.

Acting fast after getting to the ground, Florence reached back into her bag, grabbing a hold of the bat and pulling it out. She swung it at the back of one of the walker’s head’s, hearing it’s skull crush and seeing the putrid blood fly forward from its jaw as it fell to the brick road with a thud. It seemed Michael was still immersed with the walker and the three others did not cease their attack. Feeling slightly confident now, Florence commenced to use her bat again against the others, though as she worked on one, the others began to swarm around her. She managed to swing at their legs, making two of them into crawlers but that didn’t take care of the last one. She really hated to ask for help, but knew she was getting overwhelmed. “Little help here,” she called out to Michael.
Florence nodded, close behind Michael. She glanced over at the collected undead creatures in the alley way. As they had descended down the fire escape, their reeking stench rose to her nose, causing her to grimace. It had been a good while since her last altercation with one of these things. Camping it out on the rooftop had helped her rest but it got her rusty on her skills. She just hoped she'd be able to remember, like riding a bike, and it would come back naturally. Nodding to Michael, she did as instructed, gently taking hold of the ladder and slowly helping him lower it down. Regardless, she knew the rattling metal would summon those lurkers no matter how gentle they handled it. She just hoped she wouldn't get herself into a mess, possibly endangering Michael at the same time.
Florence's lips cracked into a small grin that she couldn't help at Michael's remark. She wasn't sure what it was exactly but something about finally getting off the rooftop gave her more excitement rather than terror that she should be feeling. It had been a good two weeks, maybe more. She hadn't really explored much of the city, when she arrived she just made her way to the tallest structure and got to the top. Obviously she knew she couldn't stay on the rooftop forever, but she had been running for so long she just needed to rest. Now that she was well rested and her supply was running low, a good trip shopping was well needed.

After gathering all their items they started down the fire escape, Michael going first. As they descended, Florence could hear the violent screeches from the undead on the streets below. She knew as soon as they got to the ground, it was going to be like pushing through hell.

Okay, I guess I could. I didn't read the IC yet because I didn't even know if my idea would work. Would this impose any restrictions upon the group I'd make?

I don't know of any restrictions. Just a gang that has a small rivalry with the swindlers and is breaking into their warehouse.

Awesome. Any idea which gang still needs filling? Perhaps, if they're equal, I can think on a 3rd gang. Maybe a Yakuza styled gang would be cool, but I don't know. I'd probably need the opinion of the GM beforehand so I'll try not to think of it too much yet. :P

Hey there. I'm not sure if you have read over the IC but Blox and I need a gang to play the role of the gang who is breaking into the warehouse. Maybe you could create that gang? But obviously it's up to you :)
