It’s been a while since I posted one of these so I figured I’d try again. I’m looking for a partner for a 1x1 roleplay. I write at a casual level so 1-3 paragraphs would the norm. I prefer to play as female but there are some exceptions. I can do both MxF and FxF and even MxM. I have plots and ideas for all pairings. I also have some fandom ideas. Most, if not all, pairings and plots will have adult content. I ask that you are mature enough to handle that. I understand that life gets hectic and I know I’m definitely not a quick replier so at least 3 replies per week would be the minimum I ask for. If you’re going to be replying less than that, just let me know.
I do not have time for those who message me, tell me they are interested in a plot, only to abandon it without a word while we are still planning it out or after we’ve just started. If you happen to lose interest or lack the time to keep up,let me know. I will be understanding if you’re straight with me and tell me. Otherwise, you’re wasting both of our time.
If a plot is crossed out, it means I am already doing that roleplay.
If you have any interest in any of the following plots or pairs, please PM me or post your interest in the thread. Thanks for reading!
MxF Plots
It’s the 70’s band scene, sex drugs and rock and roll. A young man who’s slowly rising to fame with his band, is new to the scene. On a short tour, the man finds himself seduced by one of his groupies who get him involved in drugs and corruption. (70’s)
A lonely middle aged man pays for a Russian mail order bride to keep him company and to start a family. The bride knows very basic English and the two are distant for some time. The bride plans to leave the man after she obtains her citizenship but begins to fall for him when he goes through trouble to get close to her by doing such gestures as learning Russian for her, trying to adapt to her culture and making Russian food. She eventually has to chose which life to live. (most likely modern)
A married man has an affair with the family’s coloured maid. She begins to make him dissatisfied with his nagging wife and bratty children. And he can barely stand the sight of her mopping the floors and doing the dishes while his wife drinks in the back yard. But a man with his reputation wouldn’t dare to be seen with a coloured woman hanging off his arm. But his conscious begs to be cleaned. What will he do? (50’s or 60’s)
An outlaw on the run spends the night in the company of a prostitute. Unlike other times, she holds his affections and he finds himself back at the saloon within the next two days. The two get attached over a stretch of two weeks and the outlaw asks the prostitute to help him in a heist. The two become partners in crime. (wild west era)
A girl’s older step brother goes off to college only to get involved in the peace movement while in the process. While there are troubles at home and the young woman is off for the summer, she goes to stay with her step brother for the summer. She is shocked at how different he is and how radically left he’s become. He eventually gets her involved in the movement as well and all that comes with it. Problems arise when September comes around and the young woman would rather stay in the city and fight for the cause than get her grade 12. It doesn’t help that she and her step brother have gotten involved more than family should. (late 60s, early 70s)
The Godfather is getting old and ill. His eldest son and next in line to take over the "family business" is unmarried and has no current love interest. The Godfather is worried that his heir will not have a family of his own. The Godfather makes a deal with another family that will arrange his son to marry their daughter, as they would rather he marry a Sicilian who is no stranger to their line of work. The two get married and learn to love each other and the son's new wife becomes more involved in the business than a woman should. (40s or 50s)
This plot will closely follow the events of the movie, until Maximus gets to Rome. A Roman general from Spain is ordered to be killed by Commodus, the new emperor. Escaping the assassination scene, the general steals a horse and begins riding back to Spain to get his wife and son and flee. However, he is too late and he arrives at his home to find his wife and son killed and burnt alive, nailed to crosses, as ordered by Commodus. Upon passing out from a wound at the sight of this, gypsies from an African colony pick up the general, fix his wound, and sell him at a slave trade market. He is sold to a man who manages gladiators. Due to his military experience, his skills are remarkable. He does not tell anyone his name and no one knows that he is one of the greatest generals of Rome. The general, going by "The Spaniard", eventually makes it to Rome and fights in the Colosseum. Revealing that he is Maximus, he becomes very popular with the audience, as well as women. Although many women request a visit with him, there is but one woman that he does not turn away. She is a noble woman who wishes to know all about the general and his life. At first, he is hesitant to tell her but over a stretch of days, they become closer and eventually get involved. The woman then helps him devise a plan to kill Commodus and then be set free, where she will join him in fleeing.
This plot also loosely follows the plot line of the movie sharing the same title. America, civil war era. A soldier requests to be posted on the frontier because he wishes to see it before it's gone. Upon arriving, he discovers that the fort meant to be his post is abandoned. The previous soldiers were all killed. Despite the fort being abandoned, he soldier commits himself to stay in hopes that more soldiers will join him. Over the next month, he lives alone at the fort but runs into numerous encounters with the natives that live a few miles away. He tries to communicate with them and befriends them. Eventually, he intergrades into their culture and joins their tribe. Mainly because he is interested in their way of life but also largely due to the fact that he has fallen in love with the chief's daughter. Once completely accepted into the tribe and marrying the chief's daughter, more Americans show up at the fort and the tribe must decide to fight to defend their land or to move north.
He's your average, working class man. Works at the office and comes home to a wife and family. She's a single woman with high social and financial standing, thanks to her wealthy father. He's looking for an escape from his life that gets more dry by the day and only seems to add more stress than offer him relief. She's looking for someone to share her bed with, someone to share all her luxuries and riches with. Somehow, the two find each other and become hopelessly enthralled with each other. But his wife is getting suspicious and her father is disapproving of her choices. Sometimes opposites attract but the trick is to maintain the attraction. (any era could work but I picture it as 50s/60s).
A young woman visits a town to live with her cousin for the summer when she ends up getting involved with a greaser/bad boy and they decide to have a summer fling, mostly just sexual stuff, as they will likely never see each other again. However, feelings start to develop they cause problems when she has to leave. (Time period can range anywhere from 1940s to present but was originally formatted for 1960s)
A politically apathetic college student is caught in the middle of a peace protest and meets a girl who he eventually falls for and gets him involved in the peace movement. He works together with the students of his university to occupy the building in protest, for as long as they can. Plot taken from The Strawberry Statement (circa 1960 to 1970)
An awkward, romantically challenged man in his late twenties comes across a homeless girl in her mid to late teens that saves him from muggers and he, in turn, treats her to dinner. They develop a relationship and he soon discovers she is homeless and offers to let her live with him. Their relationship is almost like a father daughter but with a slight sexual/romantic element and they soon find themselves in an interesting situation. (time period not set)
A woman has to go to an event for the week at which she knows her ex will be at. In order to make him jealous, she hires a male escort to accompany her for the week but they soon become involved for their own personal desires. This plot can also be done with the woman being the escort. (most likely modern but can be adapted to another time period)
A man is bitten and turned to a vampire during the polio epidemic by his doctor in order to keep him alive. Thirty years later, he has seen loved ones come and go and has lived through two wars. He vows to never get attached to another human again. That is until he meets a woman he cannot resist despite his vows. He is met with a hard decision to make once years have past and she growing increasingly suspicious. (circa 1950s. Yes, I know this is eerily similar to Twilight)
A German soldier is wounded in battle and taken in by a Russian girl who is able to do whatever she wants to him while he is injured. The language barrier between them forces them to use motions and actions to explain themselves and after a while, the soldier begins to get attached to the girl despite her abusive behavior and has to decide whether to betray his country by staying with her. (circa 1940s)
An old fashioned teacher x student plot set in a high school setting. The two become close as teacher and student but when the students asks for one on one tutoring after school, something else becomes of them. (any time period)
FxF Plots
Pretty straight forward, just like the movie, two women are secluded together for a long period of time. They will eventually fall for each other and will attempt to continue their relationship as they grow older. While they get married and have families to fit in to what is acceptable at the time, they have occasional visits. (setting can be anywhere from 50s to 70s)
A curious wife has always longed to sleep with a woman but has never had the opportunity to. Now, in a heterosexual marriage, she finds that her interest is stronger than ever and her relationship with her husband is suffering. She decides to respond to an anonymous add of a woman who also had never slept with a woman before and was curious. They become enthralled with each other and hopelessly obsessed with each other. The woman tries to break it to her husband that she wants a divorce but realizes things are much more complex than she realized. The two women decide to plot to kill her husband.
A girl who has been friend zoned by her seemingly straight best friend for several years finally decides to make a move. Her friend is surprised but does not reject her advances and they sleep together. While the best friend admits she enjoyed it, she is later in denial. Between telling her friend that they can’t continue those actions and feeling shameful, moments of weakness find her and they continue their sexual relationship. This goody two shoes girl has to hide the secret of her sexuality from her disapproving friends and parents.
MxM Plots
Same plot as the FxF pairing, just with males
A gay man marries a woman to end his family and friend’s suspicions. He tries his best to get along with his wife and suppress his sexuality…until he meets his brother in law. Despite the odds, the two fall madly in love. The man now has to juggle being married to a woman while sleeping with her brother on the side. The man enjoys things the way they are but what about when his male lover starts asking for something more? (modern most likely)
Dust bowl era, a young man losses his mother and older brother to disease while the other half of his family are starving from the lack of crops. One night, a band of murderers raids his farm house for food and money and kills his father and two remaining siblings. The young man, despite his grief, sets out to track down the murderers. On his way, he runs into a man who had also been wronged by the same group. They team together to track them down and get their sweet redemption. Along the way, the two men get more than they bargained for. (30s)
Two men become best friends in the military while fighting on the front lines. (Can be American, German, Russian, or even Japanese soldiers). However, all that time away from home, away from their wives or girlfriends, has left them rather desperate. They agree to only carry on their sexual behavior until the war is won. But what happens when they return home and the feelings of lust don’t stop? (40s)
He's a big executive at a big company. He wears the nicest suites, drives the nicest cars, has the prettiest wife, and the most darling children. But lately he's been acting strange. Coming home late, going on a fair number of business trips, leaving the house for unexplained outings. Everything in her instincts tells his wife that he's seeing another woman behind her back. What she doesn't know is that he's been having an affair with his newly hired assistant. And that this assistant is another man. (any era)
After the civil war, two soldiers are sent to their new post - a fort on the frontier named Fort Mercer. Upon arrival, they discover that the fort is abandoned, all the soldiers who were posted there were previously killed yet no word had reached back to the home bases yet. The two soldiers wait for more men to arrive but time drags on and it seems they are alone, waiting for no one. They begin to grow close and a different kind of relationship arises from the time they spend together in isolation. (plot was briefly based off of Dances With Wolves, with an alternative ending) (late 1860's)
Fandoms
Rick x Michonne Rick x OC Rick x Daryl Rick x Shane Daryl x Carol Daryl x OC Andrea x Milton Andrea x Shane Andrea x the Governor Michonne x Tyreese If you have another pairing, feel free to throw it at me
No specific pairing for this and I don’t imagine it being a romantic pairing but we’d be using Richtofen, Nikolai, Dempsey, or Takeo and the rp would take place on one of the maps.
Also no specific pairings yet but it can be pretty much any member of the gang x OC or we can do something without a romantic/sexual relationship and just focus on the gang violence and rivalry.
John x Bonnie John x Abigail John x OC Jack x Bonnie Jack x OC This fandom can also be done with a non romantic pairing or plot if desired
I don't have any specific pairings in mind but if you do, feel free to throw them at me.
Rhett x Link. This is a common ship and I don’t usually ship it but I think working out a plot for this could be interesting.

Age: Paddington has been around since the 60's but still acts like he's around age 10
Features: Paddington is a very soft, squishy, teddy bear. He always wears his red hat and blue coat. He's very cuddly and something about him just makes him irresistible to children. As he is such an old toy, he has no special electronic abilities.
Personality: Paddington is a very curious toy and outgoing. He loves to make new friends and loves to explore new things. He is very gentle and kind and wouldn't hurt a fly. He is sometimes hard on himself and blames himself for bad things that happen even if it isn't his fault. He's helpful and selfless and hates being alone.
History of Product: Paddington was manufactured in the early 60's, a few years after the Paddington Bear books became popular with children. His first owner was a 10 year old girl named Rachel. Paddington was Rachel's favourite toy and she kept him with her all the way up to college. In college, in the early 70s, Rachel became heavily involved in, not only her studies, but the peace movement. For years, Paddington just sat on Rachel's shelf, never touched. Finally, when the war was over and Rachel got married and moved in with her husband, she gave Paddington away to a toy drive. Paddington was given to a poor family in the late 70s where he was treated even more horribly than when living with Rachel. It was during this point in time that Paddington learned that he was just a toy. Since then, Paddington has lived with four different children before ending up at Babbling Brook day care. He ended up on the shelf of a thrift store in 2005 and one of the day care workers saw him while shopping. She thought the children would enjoy him and bought him for the day care. Paddington enjoys living at the day care and has been there for 10 years. He has no plans to escape or revolt. But the thing about Paddington is that he can be easily swayed.

Night terrors were common. For those who had survived this far and had not let the undead drag them down or the looters and murders take their life from them, night terrors was a quite a common occurrence. Haven was full of survivors - those who had to commit unthinkable acts to keep themselves alive. There was no blame or judgement on their shoulders, survival was not an easy task when it was you against the world. Haven saved them from that.
Joseph Reed was no stranger to night terrors, or even lucid dreams. On good nights, he would see his farm in it's prime. Crops reaching for the clear blue sky, livestock crooning with delight, the sun smiling down at him and the life he had made for himself and his family. His wife would be down at the pond dipping her toes in the chilled water to keep herself cool during the scorching summer day. His son would be strolling through the fields, surveying the crops and running his tender hands across the leafs that displayed themselves like works of art.
On bad nights, the fields would be bare. The livestock dead or starving, nothing but miserable clouds towering above the farm. And Margaret and Tom would be tied up in the stable, blood dripping from their jaws and the calcium clouded in their eyes. They would growl at Joseph, almost hiss his very name. And nothing could drown out the sound of their gnawing teeth, their demented screeching, their gargling throats. And somehow, in all of it, there was always his name. With every snarl, his name was embedded within the sound.
Joseph!
Joseph!
Joseph!
"Joseph!" Winifred shook the man awake, holding onto the arm that was so tightly clenched. "Joseph, wake up."
His eyes fluttered open. This was here. This was now. On the floor of one of the buildings in Haven, with half conscious members strewn across the floor, half still holding onto their slumber, half already awake. He was safe. Joseph allowed the reality set in, letting go of the nightmare. His body slowly relaxed, his shoulders slumping back. He finally looked over to his adopted daughter, concern written all across her face. She was used to these violent night terrors - they were a regular occurrence. But time nor constant happenings could take away her worry.
"Hey, it's alright," she said soothingly to him, now caressing the arm that she had shaken.
"I know," was all that the bearded man said. Because he did know. Sure, everything around them had literally turned into a man-eat-man world, but Haven made it better. Tolerable. Anything was better than sulking in that lonely farm house or living out of his truck, wondering where their next meal was going to come from. And Joseph need not say more than what he had. Winifred knew too.
"What time is it?" he asked her. Judging by the number of residents that were still sleeping, Joseph reasoned that it couldn't have been that late.
Winifred shrugged. "Dunno. But the run's today."
Joseph gave her a challenging look. "I trust you don't have any bright ideas planned like last time." Despite being told sternly to stay in the town while the adults went out for the run, she managed to tag along, following the group from a distance until they had gotten too far to tell her to go back.
"Nah, I learned my lesson. Even though I held my own just fine without any help for a full two days. You remember that story, right?"
Joseph only blinked at her, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hands. It was too early for her energy. On mornings such as these, he could still remember the taste of hot coffee seeping down his throat. "I'm gonna get some fresh air," he told her softly, shakily getting to his feet and stepping around the scattered bodies, making his way to the door.
"I'll come with you," Winifred exclaimed, bouncing up to her feet and following him out.
As the man stretched, he sucked in a lung full of the morning air. Sometimes it was hard to believe that this was his life now. Before everything had gone to hell, he was certain he would die on the farm, in the bed that he shared with his wife. He never had any plans of leaving it behind in a fit of walkers and bullets.
"And I mean, you know Johnny's gonna die but you just can't help but think maybe, just maybe this time, he won't die. Like it's a book, you can't change it. But you can hope, you know?" Winifred was rambling on about her book, the only one she had managed to keep with her through all of this. And she had read the damn thing thirteen times through. Sometimes Joseph was convinced she said things just to say it. No real reason behind it, just because she couldn't stand not to say anything.
Her voice seemed to just fade into background noise as Joseph peered out into the open land surrounding the settlement. There were few people out on the streets at this time and it was not often that there was traffic around them. But that morning, Joseph could swear he saw something in the distance. Hobbling along the trail, shuffling it's feet and set straight for Haven.
"But it's not like Dallas can do anything to save him. The guy got stuck in a burning building. But he takes it to-"
Skills Knowledge of agriculture, knowledge on how to deal with livestock, brief knowledge in hunting, self sufficiency, two years of university, average firearm knowledge, understanding, easy to talk to, problem solver, people skills, handyman, physically strong, good writer
Flaws lacks leadership qualities, passive, strong conscience, lacks brutality, often does not take action when action is needed, somewhat cowardly, somewhat mentally unstable, procrastinator, can also be too trusting
Firearm proficiency: 3.5, a farmer such as himself made sure he could defend his farm
Weapons: axe, long knife
Equipment: blue pick up truck, a few blankets, a lighter, dead cell phone, tool box containing various common tools, a sack of assorted fruit/vegetable seeds, a small bit of gas, a notebook, a box of old photographs, a heavy fur collared jacket that was passed down to him from his grandfather.
Apparel: Often wears flannel shirts and jeans. The odd time he’ll wear his overalls if he is working on something. He has heavy boots and two jackets.
Personality: Joseph can be described as a rather reserved and calm man. He is a man of few words and picks his battles. However, as a result of this, he finds that he gets little say in group settings and is ordered around by the other members. He can easily work/travel alone, however he does grow lonesome at times. He is usually happy to let someone else run the show and just act as a support beam. He can often be indecisive when he is met with a tough decision that needs to be made on the spot. He must take his time to think about it. However, he is more than willing to help others with their problems. Before the outbreak, he could be best described as passive aggressive and gentle. Come the outbreak, he was forced to resort to violence which disturbed him greatly. He tries to refrain from violence as much as possible. Joseph is a man who is in touch with his thoughts and likes to write them down on paper. Currently, he is scared that he will become a monster with all the killing he is doing. He feels remorse for killing walkers but knows it’s necessary. He also scares himself by his increasing aggressiveness. Nonetheless, Joseph is still a gentle giant. Yet he may not remain that way.
Backstory: Joseph Reed was born to an English professor and a stifled housewife in the city. He had a relatively easy childhood and had a few close friends throughout his years. However, he was constantly living in the shadow of his father. Being the Reed’s only son, Joseph’s father had high and strict expectations of him. Joseph was to go to university right after high school and become a professor just as his father was. This all changed when Joseph was 20, one year into his degree when he met the love of his life. A farm girl named Margaret. She was young, beautiful, and free spirited. Needless to say, Joseph fell madly in love with her and dropped out of school a year later to marry her. They owned a ranch together where Margaret would teach Joseph everything about farming, raising livestock, shooting, and hunting. When Joseph was 25, he and Margaret had a son named Tom. The following 12 years leading up to the outbreak, the Reed’s focussed on being a family and running their ranch. The virus was delayed in making it’s way to the Reed’s ranch. As they lived out almost in the middle of nowhere in a small rural county, they had heard little of the outbreak. They had no idea it had gotten so out of control or the devastating effects of the virus. One late afternoon, Joseph and his wife had realized that their son had not yet returned from earlier on that day when he told them he was taking one of the horses for a ride. Margaret insisted that Joseph stay behind while she went to look for him in case Tom came back to the house while she was out. A few hours later, the sky was beginning to darken and now neither Margaret nor Tom had returned to the home. Joseph was beginning to grow anxious and decided to go out and look for them in his truck. He had no avail and returned home hours later. He called neighbours and friends of the family, asking if they had turned up at their houses; but few of them answered their phones and those that did had not seen Margaret or Tom. He continued to search the next day. If he did not find them by nightfall, he planned to call the police. In the afternoon, he went to the stable to search by horseback this time. This is when he found his wife and son - but not in the way that he had expected. They frothed at the mouth and staggered about, moaning, appearing to not have any control over their own mind or body. At the sound of Joseph opening the stable door, they attacked him, as well as another undead that was believed to be the one that infected them. How he got into the stable is a mystery. Joseph tried to find some way to subdue them without using his gun but all three were overpowering him and he could tell that they were not of a sound mind. He realized they had the virus he had faintly heard about but he could not bring himself to shoot them. He barely managed to tie them up without getting bitten, before racing back inside and calling the police. No answer. He turned on the news and saw nothing but chaos. After taking a ride into town and seeing what the world had gone to, Joseph knew what he had to do. However, he sat on this for nearly a month. He locked the stable and stayed inside the farm house, believing that he had no other option but to wait it out at the farm. About a week and a half after his family had been bitten, a young, recently orphaned girl named Winifred Turner, stumbled upon the farm house and banged on the doors and windows, begging Joseph for help. Lonely and unable to turn her away, Joseph let her in and let her stay with him. She stayed with him until the farm became overrun and they had to leave. In the haze of it all, Joseph managed to get to the stable and find his wife and son. He finally laid them to rest. This still haunts him. After leaving the farm Joseph and Winifred traveled for a while, living out of his truck and scavenging whatever they could find. In this time, the two became very close and Winifred asked to Joseph to adopt her. While making a stop to search for gas, the two came across a man who was on a run from Haven. He brought them to Haven.
Other: Excerpt from Joseph’s journal a few days after realizing that Margaret and Tom could not be helped.
I am amazed at times such as these, there is still an order to things. The crickets still sing at night and each day runs it’s normal cycle. The wind still blows and my hair still grows. And I sit alone, with the song of an aching soul. Nature takes no notice of despair and the rain waits for no man’s tears to cease. If there is one thing I have learned during these past few days is that no matter what I do, I will not change the course of the wind or the size of the clouds that tower above my head. I am a simple man in a sea of millions. There is nothing different about my survival than any other man’s. It is his life or mine and, while I am still on this earth, it would be a lie if I were to say I’d rather him live than myself. I suppose I’ve come to be a selfish bastard when I think about it, but who isn’t? Everyone I’ve ever loved is now without life and whatever life I had seems to have vanished. So why not be selfish? Why can’t I think of myself for once? My whole life, I thought about what was best for others. My father, Margaret, Tom. I sacrificed what I wanted for their well being and convinced myself it made me a good man. Damn it, it is finally my turn and what the hell am I left with? I could have saved Margaret. I could have made her stay at the house while I looked for Tom. But what’s done is done. I am who I am now and not a single bullet I fire can change that. Margaret is dead. Tom is dead. And I may as well join them in their sweet goodnight. But I can’t bring myself to press my lips to such a meaningless fate. So I sit here and rot in my regret, each day I push on, each breath I heave, slowly killing myself in the progress. Its inevitable. I’ve outlived them all. And I cannot possibly see why I am the only one left, I was the most selfless one of all of them. Then why shouldn’t I be dead? Why shouldn’t I be dead? Why cant I just be dead? Because I have to live with what I’ve become. Selfish people live longer.
Appearance:
Name: Winifred “Winnie” Turner
Age: 14
Gender: female
Occupation: student
Skills outgoing, easily likable. Small and able to fit into small spaces, light on her feet, athletic. The ability to get over offence quickly. Fishing skills. Very little gets to her, mentally.
Flaws can get hot headed at times and always has something to say about everything. Often puts her nose where it doesn’t belong and sometimes doesn’t know her place. Her age puts her at a disadvantage for strength and fighting as well as wisdom when it comes to dealing with strangers. Possessive of Joseph and sometimes causes problems for him because of this.
Firearm proficiency: 2; her real father had set up a target practice in the backyard but Winifred had only used it about 4 times
Weapons: pocket knife, various shards of glass
Equipment: change of clothes, first aid kit, dead cell phone, wallet, weathered copy of The Outsiders, box of items she’s collected, photograph of her and her parents, a set of walkie talkies
Apparel: Jean shorts that stop an inch above her knees and a red t shirt is what she more or less lives in. The change of clothes she has with her is a green long sleeve and a pair of black pants. She wears sneakers and has a toque that Joseph gave her.
Personality: Winifred can best be described as being strong willed. She is outgoing and will talk it up with anyone around her. If nothing is being said, she will find something to say. If she believes something wrong is taking place, she will speak out against it. She speaks her mind most of the time, which sometimes causes conflict, but for the most part she is liked. She has mastered the art of flattery and uses it to her advantage. She is a bit of a busy body and likes to gossip. She has no problem with killing walkers and really doesn’t let it affect her. She understands that they are no longer really living once they’ve turned. She lets very little actually get to her and doesn’t hold onto offence over petty things and arguments. She really doesn’t mind getting dirty or having to engage in physically stressful activities in order to survive. She likes be active and loves adventure.
Backstory: Winifred was born in a hickish small town to an alcoholic father who owned a bait and tackle shop and avoided the house as much as possible, and an often detached, schizophrenic mother. The house was not a nice environment and Winifred tended to be out more often than not. After school let out, she would simply walk off on her lonesome. She loved to explore, often going off into forests, abandoned buildings, or strange parts of town. She’d come home with the dark, and dinner would be made, sitting on the kitchen table under a bowl. Winifred was an outgoing child but somehow had few friends. She was seen as weird and strange amongst her peers and was always known as the daughter of the “lady who talks to herself”. Her tomboy-ish tendencies did not make her popular with the girl and her aggressiveness did not make her popular with the boys. She had about 3 peers that she called friends but, more often than not, she spent her time alone. Which, in the process, preserved her youthful demeanour. It also did not help that she was an only child and did not have older siblings to help her mature. Winifred was more so fascinated than scared by the virus when it broke out. Class mates and teachers were suddenly disappearing and all these crazy stories were going around about what was happening to those who got the virus. Although citizens and students were advised to stay inside, Winifred paid no mind to this. One day, while she was out walking through a tall field of grass at around four in the afternoon, she saw a walker in the distance. She was confused but intrigued - she advanced towards the walker and attempted to talk to it as if it were a person. When it began to growl and hiss at her, Winifred knew something was wrong. She began backing away from it, and then began to run. She ran home, passing two other walkers on the way, to find her father standing above one of the walkers in the backyard, holding a rifle that he had used to kill it with. He then revealed to Winifred that the walker had bitten her mother. Winifred and her father stayed in the house with her mother until she turned. At this point, her father laid her to rest. They then gathered their belongings and moved to her father’s shop, as he believed it would be safer there. However, they only lasted two weeks before survivors managed to break into the shop and killed Winifred’s father. She escaped while the survivors raided the shop and ran until she could barely breathe. Winifred spent two days looking for shelter, but she had ran so far out into the rural areas and farm lands that houses were far and few. She slept in trees and by the time the third day came around, she had grown desperate. She had nearly been bitten multiple times and she had barely eaten or drank anything in the two days. When she came across the Reed farm, she could not help but bang her fists against the doors and windows until Joseph let her in. Winifred spent the next few weeks with Joseph at his farm until it became overrun and they had to leave. During this time, the two became very close and Winifred became very attached to Joseph. She asked him if he would think of her as his daughter and was delighted when he agreed. She came to Haven with him after being invited by the survivor they ran into.
