  The Curse of the Death God is something only a child of Desious can aquire at birth and the chances of it manifesting in a demigod is one out of one hundred. It is not something that The Death God gives out purposefully, but it is what is a possible consequence of procreating with Death Incarnate. Due to the curse, ever since Kieran was born, during times of great emotional response Kieran becomes deadly to touch with skin to skin contact. The curse reacts when Kieran feels great emotion, such as receiving a surprise birthday party which cause great shock and happiness. Or when the love of your life of five years walks out on you for your best friend which causes great sadness or anger. When his emotions swell the power of Death surges within Kieran, becoming unstable in his fragile demi mortal body, and what looks like black electricity surges visibly all over Kierans body. When touched with skin to skin contact like this the second person becomes instantly fatigued, starts to breathe harder, they behave as if they had just run a marathon sick. Letting go of Kieran at this stage is the cure for this and within moments of letting go the second person will feel instantly better. But if skin to skin contact is held longer the second person becomes more and more sick. After about ten seconds the second person will die, being then cursed themselves with death.
  
  The Immortal Shadow Abaddon is a sort of sentient creature that is and that is not a part of Kieran. It lives in Kierans shadow, and while it can be seen using some intelligence it is completely dependent on Kieran. It will always move where Kieran wants it, and so on and so forth. Kieran primarily uses Abaddon as a defensive weapon. He can will Abaddon to rise out of his shadow and cover his body, enveloping his body in a black shadow harder than metal.

BackStory

Kieran was born with despair hanging over him like a dark cloud. Just as edgy too. Almost like an edge lord (lol ok but no now serious time.)
While Kieran did not have the most pleasant beginnings and he did not have the most pleasant upbringing, no matter what anyone says Kieran Aarvack is a mysterious one. His curse has been affecting him since he was born and affecting everyone around. The day he was born his curse killed two doctors, and is the cause of his mothers current ill state even after twenty two years. His curse left his mother weak, extremely weak, and is bed ridden most of the time. His childhood consisted of him staying away from other children most of the time, and learning how to control his emotions. His mother, stronger then as opposed to how she is present day, tried to show Kieran how to control his emotions so as to now hurt anyone. As Kieran engaged in his teenage years his emotional state never has seen worse days. he wanted to be normal, he wanted to have fun, and he hated to be a burden. On a day as normal and unexciting as any other day Kieran lost control and his curse hurt his mother. She fell into an almost coma like state which horrified Kieran to his core. He was able to get help, and for years now Mary Aarvack has been in a near death coma like state. Most of the time she is stable but at times while Kieran was still living with her she was have attacks that would almost send her to the other side.

At age of fourteen Kieran decided he needed to leave. He refused to hurt his mother anymore and he had a pretty good handle on his emotions. But he could not risk it, and it seemed like just being around her even with a calm heart would affect her. Kieran was a smart kid and with the help of a few others at a distance he was able to finish his education. His education was important to him because while he was learning about the world he could learn how to survive better in it. He had a little experience with the supernatural, creatures of ancient mythology finding him, so he was confident that he could survive long enough to fulfill his real goal.

Kierans real goal was not to cure himself of his curse but rather find his father, whom his mother had mentioned before several times in stories, and make him cure his mother. Then after that, he knew not what he would do. He had the skills to survive...but that's just it. Survive. Kieran was haunted by his curse and gave up escaping it a long time ago. It wasn't something that even his father could take away he believed, as his curse drew from the power of Death itself. When Kieran was 22, On the day Death was tricked, Kieran was greeted by a semi sentient being called Abaddon. It appeared out of his own shadow and could communicate with Kieran telepathically. Not through words so much but through feelings and colors that only someone with a telepathic bond could understand. Kieran could understand what Abaddon would feel, which gave him a sense of what Abaddon wants to say. When his powers fully emerged, his strength increased, able to move more swiftly, and his reflexes were enhanced as well.

History:

Nothing can truly justify what a pain in the arse a backstory is. Dagabon is a man of man talents, but whenever anyone would ever ask him of his past he would tell them the same thing. Regular life, growing up on Earth then moving to Mars. He would tell people that he did any odd job that would come his way but the weirdest jobs would be something akin to rodent removal. Then he would pay for a round of drinks to stop the questions from flowing. That would be the simplest backstory in Dagabons mind, and nothing would be wrong with it. No one needed to know anything more, and deserved nothing less usually. Would it be more interesting to say that he grew up on Earth with more money than he could ever spend in one lifetime but rarely spent a dime? How he hated his family and how they treated those of lower class?

Dagabon was born into a quite wealthy family, famous for its production of space-resistant, military grade equipment. His families products helped astronauts survive in space easier, move around faster, and over all make traveling through space more enjoyable. Then when the military gets ahold of them the suits become something quite troubling, which of course means that Dagabons family charges out the ass for them. Dagabon knew he was nothing special, he only had average grades in school, never excelled anywhere physically, and from a business standpoint he was as charming as a stray animal (So sometimes he could be adorable and other times he got the reaction ahhhhhh!!!!!! and not in a good way), but still he felt as if he could do more than what he was doing.

When he turned eighteen he left Earth (much to his families dismay, filled with promises and oaths made from anger) and settled on Mars, taking a sizeable amount of money from his family and one of his families new state of the art suits not yet released. It had a simple design but would come in handy multiple times. It had a VI feature that would assist Dagabon in combat situations, could filter through smoke and gas, zero gravity control (which allows him to hover basically or float speedily in his chosen direction in space), and allowed for maximum mobility. The right and left gauntlet had a stun charge feature that 3 seconds to charge.

What started him on all this important business is simple. Dagabon had taken up being a cross between a P.I. and a bounty hunter, from bringing in criminals across the galaxy or whatever random task he was paid for when he was home on Mars. Once he was paid to assist in security during a public event, another was when he was paid to assist in the building of structures. That was when he received the job offer from the shadowy man. Dagabon was going to turn it down at first, he believed getting into bed with a devil like this could only end in his demise, but even Dagabon is not immune to flattery. He was told that he piqued interests because of his vast experience in multiple areas. He was a Jack of all trades, master of none and to solve this little puzzle out of the box thinking was going to be needed. Dagabon knew he could never solve something like this by himself, and he didn't want to either, so it took quite a little bit of time for Dagabon to wrap his mind around the idea of what he was being tasked. He did not enjoy working with others, but in the end he accepted. The lure of the challenge was too much in the end.

Dagabon enjoys being the voice of reason, even if it makes him captain obvious. He always has a sarcastic comment in the back of his mind and he rarely ever truly focuses on one thing for a long period of time. When he does focus he gets results quickly and efficiently so it is advantageous to have him on your side when he gets in the zone. Even when he doesn't completely focus he is a great detective of sorts, he just has a small gambling problem of sorts. Dagabon has gotten into trouble with lying before, or "bluffing" as he calls it. Dagabon enjoys the rush of gambling and to him lying is a form of gambling. He will bluff when he has to or when he can when put in pressure and to other peoples dismay he displays a small amount of bluffing in his day to day. Nothing large just little white lies or even stories.

With a certain motion of his arm he can unsheathe the knife and send in flying down his arm, usually caught by Dagabon as it reaches his hand. Not a large knife but used for quick emergencies.

Strengths:

⇋ Deceit - Arlic is able to mask his intentions very well. Call it being a great liar, or able to hide his emotions, just looking at his face is not a very sure way of trying to figure out his intentions. Although Arlic is very much motivated by his emotions, through years of practice he has learned not to people easily.
⇌ Mental Fortitude - Arlic would rather die than give in at times. Not many people can damper his spirits, and when he has a goal he will do whatever he can to accomplish his goal.
⇋ Speed reader - Over his life, Arlic loved to be absorbed into a good book. After doing this for years, he has obtained the ability that some people call "super" but in reality Arlic can read and retain what he read even at high reading speeds

Weaknesses:

☠ Lack of weapon training - Arlic never truly received proper training with weaponry. He could use his powers to blast away an enemy at a distance, or use his powers to defend himself at close quarters, but he is not proficient in using guns or melee weapons
☠ Power weakness - Arlic has a ghost type power set, so powers that neutralize powers can set him back. Arlic has implemented his powers into his fighting style, and since he is not a master of hand to hand combat if his powers are taken away or blocked it can leave an opening. Psychics are Arlics feared opponent type.
☠ Wits - When Arlic is outwitted he becomes enraged. Acting in the heat of the moment depends the situation, but he will break any promise and do whatever it takes o punish those he feels have outsmarted him.

Biography:
Arlick Aarvack,a simple youth in Bludhaven at a time. He was that one guy in school that always found ways to make money, always found ways to get you that thing you have been wanting and at a much cheaper cost than in store. But he was also the kind of guy you hated to owe a favor to. He would do things for people, get them on his side, and use them as he see fit. But he never thought of using his talent for manipulation for anything grand. He never thought of trying to hurt people for amusement. He just wanted to live life in the lap of luxury. Arlic had a goal, to escape the life of poverty he was born into and come out on top as a winner. Arlic never had any inclination he had any type of powers, even though many people have said he has had the luck of a Meta his whole life.

On his eighteenth birthday his powers awoke at random. He started floating around his house, shifting though walls, and blasting chairs and walls without meaning too. He took some time off school and about a month later he had better control of his powers. But things were not perfect. Now that he had this power he wanted to explore it more, to make it so that somehow he could do something with his life.

Arlic had heard in passing by sheer luck about the Wayne Academy, and considered his options. He wanted to spend his time somewhere where he can nuture and grow his talents. He wasn't rich, he didn't come from some crazy backround, he was just some normal average joe that people liked to get things from. After some time passed with no improvement, Arlic managed to convinced his parents to allow him to enroll in the Wayne Academy.

- Shift through solid object (Can only do when not using any other power0
- Glide (Not really flying but when taking off or jumping off a high area he can float for a short while/glide down gently or fast)
-manipulate green energy into large or small blast
- Arlic can not use his shifting powers when using his energy blasts, he can glide and use energy but using energy shortens glide time.

Hey!

A few things. His has no personality- the traits isn't enough, and a personality does need to be written. On that, His history and nature, the way you described them seem contradictory to Blue Lanterns, and we do already have a Blue Lantern- Salyssa Moone, she is on the first page of the CS tab, and the first page of the OOC. Because of this, maybe for diversity sake, you could chose another Lantern Corp?
