So, is anyone down for a combat collab with FourSev?

Yeah, when the champions of all kinds of gods are thrown into the mix, it's going to become really hard to keep things standardized.

If I may insert my opinion, I don't think stat-based is a good idea. That's just me and my personal dislike of systems, though. I think going stat-less allows for more freedom.

Of course! As long as that Uruk is brought down to the level of an average grunt Uruk. If this is a captain or war chief, try to think about what he would've been like as a lowly grunt.

Yeah, I was thinking about something along those lines. The IC thread could be separated into "Days" of the tournament/gladiatorial games, where there's one or two matches between PCs, and then maybe one or two matches between a PC and some NPCs, and then after that, everybody gets to role-play with each other, talk about how much it had hurt when they got killed, all that stuff.

Also, on a side note, is there going to be a Character Sheet put up for this anytime soon so I can start working on my character?

I'm pretty sure evil characters are allowed. Notdeadyet did mention that even demons could send in their champions. So that raises a question: Is this arena like a multidimensional neutral ground where gods, demons, etc. come to pit their champions against each other to settle disputes or just to entertain each other? Some background of the setting would be nice.

Also, I'm kind of hoping perms-death isn't going to be implemented. I'm pretty sure gods can revive their champions over and over again. Between fights, that is.

@Light: The way I interpret it, it sounds like we're going to be super-gladiators with gods as our sponsors, so not much time for much character interaction. I am, However, keeping my fingers crossed for some non-combat RP.
