"Hey stranger, you want to start gaining our trust than help us out with this."

Daichi took a look over at all the warrior unocking the keyholes. The plan was to raise an ancient temple which held the power of the so called X-blade. The weapon sounded like nothing he'd ever imagined.

*If this weapon is something that so many have died to obtain, it must be worth getting my hands on.* A new plan entered his mind. Obtain the X-blade's power and sell it off to the highest bidder. Not only would the business he received from it be enough to rebuild his clan and hire men to take out the 40 thieves but he would also be the stuff of legends.

The elfen lady continued her speech about seeing the best in people (which at this point was almost ironic). Daichi summoned his keyblade with a huge grin and announced to the group; I'll do it!. He pointed his keyblade to the keyhole and tried his best to withhold his true intentions.

*A weapon that men have fought battles and lost their lives for? It will belong to me!*

"By the way guys, tell me a little more about this X-blade."
As Azazel push by and abruptly pushed past Daichi he quickly realised his profit was slipping away. He swore under his breath. There was nothing he hated more than losing out on money. Out of ideas and short on time, he rushed towards the blinding light and snuck in amongst the others. His current ruse was clearly not good enough to win them over. He would have to play the long game (and play it well).

Before the teleportation finished, Daichi pulled a bit of sand from his pocket and encoded it with instruction to notify Zero where he was. They sand seeped into the ground and disappeared. When the light cleared Daichi quickly stealthed himself to the back of the group and observed. The tinkers in his head started formulating a new plan in order to get the buisness.

His mind thought back to his father.
"No matter what you have to do son. Get the buisness. ALWAYS GET THE BUISNESS."

Daichi was snapped back to reality with the view of a desolate wasteland littered with disgarded keyblades.

*War* he thought *Violence, Power, Supremacy.*

The scene in front of him was not one he was unfamiliar with. Images of his fallen comrades, his family, raced through his mind. Intense pangs of anguish emanated from deep within.

-------------------------- >

He shook himself out of this mental state abruptly. He knew that any form of emotion would cloud his judgement and prevent him from his ultimate prize. For now, Daichi would have to make peace with the group and try to gain their trust over time.
eh sorry about the wait guys, just been handling a few projects here and there but ill get a post up today
The ceremonious joining of the swords unfolded with all the keyblade wielders agreeing on a singular goal. Everyone except one person. Daichi stood slightly outside of the gathering simply watching the whole thing unfold. He wasn't swayed by their ambitious plans. He knew why he was there and what he came for.

Daichi worked hard all his life to maintain a semblance of the life he was accustomed to. Being referred to as a thug or a hoodlum didn't bother him at all because these people didn't understand him or his issues. How could they? The only thing they understood was Power. The best way for him to show this Power? His bank account of course. The lifestyle. The women. Being waited on hand and foot. After having everything taken away, its what he had to do to.

He stepped forward towards the group with a large grin. The tinkers in his head had been swiftly at work whilst the other keyblade wielders made plans to leave.

Daichi thought back to his father chiding him as a young boy: "At the heart of every business venture there's two things..."

SUPPLY and DEMAND

"Guys I know the perfect service that can give us unlimited travel between worlds. I think I even know how to get it at a cheap rate. My colleague Zero can handle all the arrangements for a few munny each." His tone and body language had shifted to a more open and amicable one.
"Its the least I can do to help after all the trouble. Starts us all on the right foot, ya know?"
Daichi took a step over to Azazel and put a hand on his shoulder. "You have to save your energy for the battles my friend."
I'm a bit confused about the general idea. It's an origin story for the Royal Knights? For what the reason is the group being formed?
"Holding those blades gives you no right to terrorize the innocent." he told them, plain and blunt as usual, "If you crave battle so badly then go find some Heartless and fight to your heart's content, at least then you would be doing something useful."

Amused by his words Daichi chuckled silently under his breath. He turned to Zero once again.
"Hey Zero lets go rendezvous with those keyblade wielders over there. This Mary-sue act might be contagious."
He sauntered past the unfamiliar adversary without as much as a glance in his direction. When he was about 10 paces past he stopped and turned. The tension in the surrounding area thickened. Daichi's once calm demeanor turned hostile.

"My time and energy aren't free. I get paid to do what I do. If you want to fight me, ante up and we'll talk business. Otherwise, you're better off listening to your pal over there."

He continued walking towards the others.
"Zero hurry up!"
"...Oi,"
"The call. They must have grouped already."
"What's the play?"

Daichi's intense stare softened as he looked past the vendor and at Zero. "Come on bro can't you seem I'm in the middle of something? He's not gonna shit himself if we're having casual conversations!!" The vendor saw the opportunity to flee and took it, scurrying off once again in terror. Daichi sighed loudly. The aim of the hit was to scare each SEA SALT ICE CREAM vendor enough so they would discontinue business.

His attention turned to the warriors fighting. The sight of the man standing sideways on the building bewildered Daichi. He scratched his head in confusion looking over to Zero.

"What do you suppose all the commotion is about?" He started walking towards it expecting Zero to follow.
Twilight town was a peaceful suburbia where mundane people often did mundane things. Everyone played their part into seeing some form of greater purpose that in the end didn't really amount to anything. These people would live their lives dreaming to become something unattainable and then die full of regrets. The thought of this made Daichi sick. Ever since his father's legacy was eroded, Daichi struggled to understand who he was and where he fit in. He was always the spoilt prince with a circle of subjects waiting on him hand and foot. Then one day all of that was taken away from him. The only thing that he had left was his best friend and partner Zero.

After the events transpired the two boys wandered Agrabah wondering what to do with themselves and living off the remains of the empire. When money became scarce they took up odd jobs to keep the lights on. They wandered between worlds looking for any form of work that paid well. Fortunately, the services of two young men proficient in combat were in high demand with the constant outbreak of heartless everywhere. Fast-forward to today and our heroes are stood in front of a medium sized push cart. The bright sign on the front depicted a picture of a blue popsicle with two sticks protruding from the bottom and beads of condensation forming on the side.

"SEA SALT ICE CREAM SOLD HERE"

Daichi smirked. "Here's another one...."
He walked over to the cart and rested his foot on the edge in a position that looked like he was going to step up. The cart rocked off kilter for a moment and with a forceful push the cart fell on its side. The ice cream spilled out of the guts of the cart as the owner scurried away in terror. As the owner looked ahead of him Daichi appear in a flash.

"If you ever come back....that cart will be you!" his voice was quiet and yet had an authoritative tone.

Bio: Daichi was born into a gang of thieves in Agrabah. His father was the leader of the gang and because of that was always busy with the family buisness. Everyone around them always treated Daichi as if he was God's gift to the Earth out of respect and fear of his father. Also, he never spent any time with anyone his age as the gang members valued their spouses and children too much to have them directly involved with gang operations. Daichi grew up very lonely because of this and didn't have many friends for much of his early life. This all changed when Daichi met Zero who was a young son of a prostitute who seemed to be finding his own way in a similar way.

Zero was soon appointed as Daichi's bodyguard which meant that his friend was always by his side. Daichi watched as Zero trained tirelessly and in the spirit of competitiveness trained himself to be on par with Zero. In Daichi's mind, whilst Zero was his friend and his bodyguard, he still had an obligation to be better than him as the highborn out of the two. In this way the relationship proved good for him.

When Daichi was __ years old, the gang was set upon by a rival militia who only went by then name "The 40 Thieves". Daichi watched as Zero aligned with the higher ranking members of the gang as instructed by his father. This soon turned into an instruction of retreat for himself and Zero. Daichi watched helplessly as his namesake was being uprooted by this rival gang. At that point something erupted inside of Zero and he recieved his keyblade. With this new weapon Zero was able to fight and temporarily hold of the advances. The jealousy and feeling of uselessness created a burning fire within him which materialised into his keyblade.....

After the dust settled Daichi and Zero survived, however the rest of his father's clan was wiped out leaving nothing. Zero maintained his allegience to Daichi and they now spend their time as sellswords travelling worlds for money.
