Armelia couldn't help having her mouth water at David's comment. "I really hope you made something vegan. Fey can't eat meat, so that's what it has to be."
"Madison Williams. Now, what exactly do I need to get in order to start?"
Well, the necromancer would play interestingly with my fey I think. Could get a rivalry going... or a duel.
To say Madison was shocked was an understatement. "Magic?! As in wands and fireballs? Holy crap, my father was actually right about all that voodoo stuff! I... I'm sorry. This is going to take me a long time to get used to. Let's start with the basics. How did I get here, and what exactly can one do with... magic?" The last word came out hesitantly, as if she still wasn't quite sure what to make of all this.
"I'm a fey. Plant powers, long life span, dislike of cities, the usual. Oh, and anyone who so much as thinks about Tinker Bell is going to end up on my bad side. Trust me, you don't want to be on my bad side."
Just when she thought her day couldn't possibly get any weirder, Maddy found that another girl had literally dropped into her lap. "Let me guess, you bumped into a painting of that very castle. Same thing with me. If that['s true, then while it doesn't tell us what going on, it does rule out the possibility of a hallucination, which only makes this stranger."
Jeremy won't be showing up. I only use one character per thread, makes it easier on me.
Madison Williams was not having a good day. She had gotten a D in Social Studies on her report card and dreaded her father finding out. Worse yet, she'd get detention if said report card wasn't signed and returned the following day. Damned if I do and damned if I don't. Joy.

Her elbow accidentally brushed against a cheap painting of a mountain castle her father had hanging on the wall, and she suddenly found herself falling through the air, landing with an undignified thump. She looked around and realized with a shock that she had ended up inside the painting. Oookay. This is weird. I'd better find out what the hell is going on here, and the castle seems to be the best place to do that. She walked up to the castle gate, noting that there didn't seem to be any guards, and asked, "Anybody home?"
(Just so you know, I'm letting this double as a character development exercise for my novel)

Name: Madison Williams
Age: 13
Female
Academy: Both
Personality: revealed IC
Physical description: Tall, gawky blonde.
Preferred Magic: Earth, water, air, fire
Room#: 3
Bio: Madison grew up with her single father and her twin brother Jeremy. Oddly enough, it was her father who was interested in magic; she's actually a confirmed skeptic. She accidentally brushed up against the Caldwell painting without even knowing what it was, and now, she's in for an extremely rude awakening.
Armelia stood back slightly upon witnessing the transformation. "A-A dragon? Please tell me you're friendly, right? I don't want to have to deal with a hungry lizard right now. Or ever, for that matter."
