Should the poison be weaker? If so, that's completely fine. Heck, we could even throw out the poison if you want. He could just use sand. That's fine too.

I changed him up to make him more human-ish. The poison on his sword will paralyze you completely in 7 minutes if the cut is deep, and will kill you in 15. It will work much quicker if the person's heart is beating rapidly. It pretty much works like snake venom. It's pretty dangerous. He uses his sand and sword roughly the same amount.
