GenderFemale - she/her
Age19
PersonalityUnafraid and unfiltered, Charlotte has finally let go of trying to be perfect and smart and has opted to be bold enough to be remembered. She is loud and talkative to the point of being annoying. She rarely fakes being happy and will express if she feels angry or upset. She is fierce to protect others from bullies and jerks, and isn't afraid to show off her mean left hook.
Living in the dorms and away from her religious family, she is more open with her sexuality and expresses immense pride in her queerness and identity. Though she loves the spotlight, she doesn't pry into other people's business. She's noisy and over-the-top but when it gets serious, she quiets down.
Power
Burning Hands
She can produce heat and flame from her hands. Her skin glows red and orange hot when she heats up, and returns to their normal color when she stops. She has a large tolerance for pain in her hands and barely notices if she's touching something hot. She can produce flame like a lighter from her fingers and can shoot out a burst of flame from both hands. With effort, her hands can heat up to cause 3rd degree burns.
She instinctively heats up cold things in her hands, making cold drinks warm faster and ice cream harder to eat (to her dismay). She usually wears special gloves that keeps her from burning flammable material.
SkillsShe practiced boxing as an escape from the pressure of her studies and responsibilities. Scars litter her knuckles and palms, leaving her with visible calluses. She can dodge and weave fairly well, but can't do much if she can't use her hands.
She's quite crafty and resourceful, getting out from a few tight scrapes with her wits and fists.
Weakness/FlawsShort-tempered
Big ego
Hard-headed
Rarely apologizes
BackgroundMoved out at 18, as soon as she could. She shows much distaste for her childhood and family, who she rarely talks to. As a child, she was brought up heavily religious but she was hesitant because of her sexuality. Her mother, Laura, pressures her to do well as school to a point of punishing her to stop seeing her friends. Her mother gets rid of Charlotte's friends she deems "dirty" or "unworthy". Her father is always at work and rarely talks to her or her siblings.
As a release, she began to train at the local gym and try boxing. She felt relief with the punches, dodges and thrill of the fight. She relishes in the spotlight and is used to taking hits. When her parents found out, they didn't let her leave the house for a month.
She had a short-lived, fiery relationship with Juara, an artist and friend from her former school. While in an argument with her parents, she revealed her relationship and sexuality and it did not go over well. She moved out three months later.
