The Plot of Lost: A plane crashes on a hot island so people are always sweaty. The island has a ton of MYSTERIES, chiefly that somehow all the women still have access to razors for their armpits.

Thing is, not all Beacon students are under-aged, because while they may all be first years, Beacon is more of a university than a high school. Because of that, you can have older students as well as younger ones. So, you know.Alcohol ho~!

Huh. I always though the Airship that Ruby came into Beacon on was only full of first years. You know, because Glenda Goodwitch did that whole ship wide "Welcome First Years" broadcast. Also remember that while Remnant is a fictional place it was thought up in America, where the legal drinking age is 21. I find it hard to believe there'd be a 21 year old first year.

Would think that all her fire-breathing would just make the situation worse. You know, vaporized alcohol could be a possibility...XD

What kind of bar on an airship full of under-aged students would stock alcohol?
Oh great. This was just what Carmine needed right now...
As if this isn't a stressful enough situation, now she's gotta worry about someone blowing them all out of the air.
Carmine tilted her head to the other side, giving the young man named Vask a quizzical look. His scatterbrained manner was putting her of her game a little. She didn't like the way he kept switching from bluntly argumentative, to awkwardly charming. After a long moment had passed she realised that she should probably say something and, as she prepared to take his hand and shake it, she responded with "No, I'm a Salama-" Before she finish her sentence the airship shook under the Dust explosion at the bar.

Carmine, already uncomfortable with flying, gave a cry of terror and very nearly leapt into Vask's arms. Her head snapped around towards the source of the explosion, a jet of fire hissing out between her teeth. "Oh no! Not like this!" She cried, clinging to Vask. "I don't wanna die like this!" The damage caused by the explosion was really that serious, not counting the now non-existent bar, but for all Carmine knew the whole airship could be about to plummet from the sky, and she was very conscious about just how high up they were. She suddenly let go of Vask and dropped down into a crouch, covering her head with her hands, spitting out little jets of fire with every panicked breath and shaking with fear.

Good stuff so far! The sheer level of social awkwardness in this group is wonderful (and a little sad) to behold. XD

Carmine isn't socially awkward. She's socially restrained.
Carmine turned her dark slitted eyes on the young man near the destroyed bench, who had spoken to her. She watched him silently for a long moment, staring out from under a shock of fiery red hair. She considered how to respond to the young man's tirade and his awkward greeting. "Some of us are born with claws, though..." She said quietly. She strolled towards the man and stopped a few feet away from the bench he was seated on. Lightning quick, her tongue flicked out and back in again. The young man had a complex scent, the taste of cooking food soaked into his skin. Carmine tilted her head slightly to one side as she returned his greeting. "Hi." She opted not to wave however, remaining slumped with her arms hanging at her side.
I want to see more Neo in the series. She intrigues me.

ICRS?You mean team Ice Cream Sandwich.

I believe Team Ice Cream Sandwich would be the team that Neo would be on if she were a Beaconite.
Ok intro post is up. I went into Carmine's "taste" ability a bit and also added the little fire spit thing on the fly. I figured that can be a little affectation that she could have when she's agitated.

Edit: Oh and Carmine is uncomfortable with heights/flying. In case that didn't come across.
Carmine grimaced as she looked towards the large airship windows. She stepped cautiously towards the window and looked out at the view, taking in the sight of the City of Vale far below. She stepped back away from the window, her head swimming from the height, and gave a hiss of displeasure, a small jet of flame shooting out from between her teeth. Carmine was a tall girl, but stood with a perpetual slump, huddled under her long red coat, with sleeves that hung down past her hands, hiding the heavy red metal gauntlets that she wore on each wrist. "Why must humans insist on trying to become like birds?" She mumbled discontentedly. "If they were meant to fly they'd have been born with wings..." She glanced at a tall brown haired man standing by the window and shook her head in wonder. How could he be so comfortable standing on the edge of the abyss like that.

To take her mind off the fact that she was basically standing in a giant metal tube, hanging hundreds of feet in the air she closed her eyes and flicked a long forked tongue. Lightning fast, out and back in, and she tasted the dozens of new scents in the air around her. One taste stood out among the others, likely because she was standing so close to him. She opened her eyes and turned her gaze back to the man by the window and flicked out her tongue again, singling out that one specific scent. It was a taste of oil and burning air something she associated with machinery and electricity. Everyone had a unique taste and Carmine would now forever associate that particular taste with that man.
