Yay!! Glad to have this going again :D
Kirina gaped, her mouth open in a split second of surprise (Which was a rare look for her, since Kirina didn’t get shocked by much at all). Malika was right on top of her! Her legs dangled off the edge of the table and she looked down at Kirina! Scrambling backwards Kirina kicked her legs frantically as she moved out of the way of a heavy mop, which was haphazardly being swung to and fro by a wobbling maniac who stood atop the table. Somewhere in the mess, Kirina’s heavy boot kicked the unsteady edge of the table and that was all it took. As if in slow motion the table started to tip backwards. Kirina lunged forward to grab the other end, she didn’t really want to see a team member injured in her mock battle, but she was not fast enough. The huge crash that followed made her squeeze her eyes tight, covering her face with her hands for a few seconds. Peaking out between her fingers she called “Are you ok?” and crawled over to the squirming girl.

Letting out a huge laugh when she saw the girl, Kirina had to lay out on the floor to catch her breath. Malika looked like a beetle, who had been tipped on it’s back, with her arms and legs flailing as they were. Once she calmed down a bit she leaped up onto her feet and reached her hand down to help up the other girl. With a huge smile and bright eyes she nodded at her, “Good fight!”

Something was not right. Something was different. Kirina suddenly grew very silent, and very still. Her head tilted to the side and her eyes looked straight ahead for a moment, but soon she realized. It was a voice! A new voice! She had never heard this friend before, and it was coming from the downstairs! Kirina almost yelled with excitement, she loved making new friends!

” “This is not your squadron.”

Kirina heard the voice and made her way, very quietly, over to the stairway that led down to Oliver and the rest of the group. On her hands and knees she started to crawl down the stairs, listening in on the conversation that Oliver was having with his new friend. For a moment she was rather upset at him, not letting her meet the new person right away and keeping the friend all to himself! It just wasn’t very nice of him.

As the screen opened up to reveal a dock. A dock in danger, and people in a panic. Kirina’s eyes grew wide as she stared at it, mouth hanging open. She was about to start inching her way down the stairs again when one hand missed a step and down she went. With a huge crash she rolled down the steps and then some, tumbling head over heels in a flurry of red hair and fluffy dress. She came to a stop directly in front of Oliver.

The fall, needless to say, had hurt. In fact it brought huge tears to her eyes as she rubbed the back of head and various places on her arms. The tears, which would have fallen in any other situation, were forgotten as she stared up at the screen.

“Боже мой, что это?!” (Oh My god, what is that?!)
Leena paused. She had heard about the incident. That stunt had made her barely leave her house for weeks! And to think he caused it? Of all people? Leena didn't know if she bought this story. Crossing her arms over her chest she arched an eyebrow at him and looked him over. He didn't look to harmful. He could change his eye color, so could just about anyone else. She decided that she didn't believe him after all, and with a smirk, snapped her fingers once more. A light breeze moved her hair out of her eyes. She did however believe him on one thing. She knew he had powers, just like she did. How else would he have been able to see her small explosions?

Leena stood up, quite abruptly, and nearly knocked her chair over. With a quick swipe, she dusted off the ruffles of her dress and tapped the heel of her boot against the ground. One hand ran though her bright hair and she let out a small huff of air before glancing over at him. "Well, are we going?" She asked, a bored look spread across her face. In one fluid motion, she pushed in her heavy chair, closed up the magazine and grabbed onto her iced coffee. She was ready to go. "I want to see this magic camp."
Oh my goodness! Are we waiting on my post? I am SO sorry I didn't even realize. I'll post either tonight or tomorrow morning!
” . "You should be a bit more careful about displaying your abilities in public.”
What did he just say? Leena let out a startled cough as she jerked in surprise. A couple nearby turned towards her, worried looks on their faces. Leena let out a forced smile, nodding at them as they turned back around. Did he just..? One hand reached up to play with her red hair as she eyed the man that sat across the table from her. He had offered to take her somewhere where she could use her powers? But Leena had heard enough horror stories to learn not to trust strangers, especially strangers that knew about powers.

From her time people watching, she learned that most normal civilians are anything but smart. This was proven by her hours in front of the café, playing the same trick over and over again without anybody noticing. Leena couldn’t believe it, maybe it was her ego, maybe not, but she couldn’t believe that some ordinary guy spotted her powers. Unless… Unless he wasn’t ordinary to begin with. Leena leaned forward, her arms spread across her forgotten magazine, “What are you?” Before he could respond she shook her head and let out a breathy laugh. "And you think I'll just run away with you Mister? Forget it."
Kathrine stood in the silence. One lone candle flickered near the edge of the bar, making long eerie shadows dance and bounce off the walls. She could hear the mechanical click of a pocket watch that she held behind the counter. Finding actual, working, wall clocks was rare for Omega businesses, but pocket watches were common so long as you could keep them running. The floors, tables, counters, even chairs were all wiped clean, and all the mugs Kathrine used that night were soaking in a warm bath of bubbles to get the grime off. It was rather peaceful.

Checking her watch she noticed that it was getting into the early hours of the morning. Her coworker had long gone, and she had simply been passing the time doing meaningless chores to keep from going to her home. With a sigh she pushed herself off of the counter and was about to open the front door to leave when she saw something that made her very, very nervous.

A man, by the looks of it a Beta, was talking to someone who was obviously a Reaper. What is a Reaper doing here? What is a Beta doing here?! She thought to herself. Kathrine slowly eased herself away from the window, which was in such a position that, if the Reaper had turned around, he could blatantly see directly inside her store. The Beta was facing her direction, but she was unsure of where the man was looking and if he had seen her.

Moving slowly, Kathrine licked one finger and pressed it into the candle, putting out the flame. She grabbed a mug out of the tub it was laying in and shook off the water. Calmly, she edged behind the dark counter and poured herself a glass of the first bottle she grabbed. She wasn’t going anywhere just yet.
Alright, I just wanted to let you all know that I have an orientation to go to tomorrow that will last all day, and into half of Thursday. After that I should be able to post as normal.
