A busy day indeed in this city. For this farmer turned adventurerer the hustle and bustle of the city was still something he did not fully adjust to, but at least it was direct and efficient. The doors to the guild opened with a small quiet creak as the giant of an ingvarr entered the guild to inspect the jobs posted on the board along with the rest of the crowd.

A dragon's still a bit....I'm not ready to test my strength against one of those yet... His mind concluded about one of the requests silently. He had built a slight reputation in the area by now but even still he had to accept jobs just like anyone else. Mm...maybe i'll help out a newbie group with a goblin extermination...though the pay is low i'm confident i could get it done quickly and take on another quest to keep my money up...i need to save up a good bit still so i can have my armor looked at and worked on.. just like that he was losing into his thoughts.

Honestly, i think parties where the majority of people share similar fighting styles as each other can also be unique and fun depending on how they interact, and most importantly how they use their martial traits.

That said, we could use another coin or cup or wand to diversify a bit.

A tall somewhat bulky man with two ram like horns that curve out from the top of his red headed short spiky hair. He is a clearly fit and toned adventurer with some experience under his belt. He has a slight stubble of trimmed mutton chops for facial hair. When not wearing his armor he can be seen wearing somewhat baggy clothing clearly fit for the colder climates of the north that have been worn down from years of use, specifically a brown furred coat with a hood and chestnut colored pants.

Personality: Calm and kind hearted when outside of combat he thinks best on how to help those he works with first. Often, to his own detriment, even giving up most of his rewards for quest fulfilling to teammates if they give him a fake sob story along the way. Within combat he flips to a heated and determined man concerned first and foremost with stopping the enemy in their tracks, and second in crushing them fully in a show of strength.

He is horrible at attempting to sneak around due to his personal belief of fighting the enemy head on being the only honorable way to fight. This has earned him a bad reputation among coin ranks as a musclehead through and through.

Brief Backstory: most of his history before becoming an adventurer could be boiled down to a single word: Simple. His life before becoming an adventurer was as a simple farmer working hard and cold pastures for years, saving up money, and competing in town events to show strength every turn of season. After becoming an adventurer he quickly rose the ranks up to fifth of swords with his tenacity and honed strength, being known by guilds to take on even the lowest paying quests and ones below his strength if requested, but has recently hit a slump in his growth, while still showing promise.

Equipment: An old farming hoe blade carried as a personal possession, a single set of well worn plate mail, a typical guard's spear you could find almost anywhere, a buckler shield, a backpack slung over his shoulders, and an explorer's pack full of rations, waterskins, rope, and the works.

Skills:
Sentinel: he specializes first and foremost in drawing enemy attention and keeping it locked on him with his massive figure and natural physical strength.

Tough: Due to his extraneous work back in his homeland as a farmer his body is naturally a bit more durable than others letting him shrug off weaker physical blunting blows.

Cold/heat resistance: Hailing from the colder pastures, he's naturally more resistant to magic and environments where the wind is like a biting cold fenrir, however on the flipside he doesnt deal too well with the heat, and deserts are his natural enemy during the day.

Honorable Warrior: Highly skilled in one on one combat, he has a natural talent for combat against single enemies with his overpowering strength combined with natural technique in battle.

Herbalism: Working with plants for so long has lead to him having wide knowledge on plant species, herbs and mushrooms. Even plants he can't identify he'll be able to take educated guesses on the effects of what consuming one might do.

Animal interest: He's knowledgeable with a wide range of birds, having a fascination with species like Pidgeons and Owls from a young age. He can usually track a bird like creature to its roost through its natural habits like marking and feathers.

Hey, I found this site through google. My name's Darner, age is 23 being born in january of 98 and i'm actually a bit of an old veteran to roleplays. I've done roleplaying on and off since 2010 in forums, chat based, tumblr and all manner of other methods, including discord.

Though it's been a long time since i did any forum roleplays and any serious roleplay so i have some dust to shake off for sure, that aside... I write in third person semi paragraph to multi paragraph(1 to 5 paragraphs at a time on average) style and prefer group roleplay to one on one heavily.

Lateky my big interests for roleplay have been Moderate to High Fantasy group roleplay with a particular focus on direct networking within small groups that affect larger situations.(For example, a small elite mercenary band that solves key issues for a noble's land, or a small guild of 10 to 30 people working as a militia for a bigger nation.) I very much enjoy fandom based roleplay as well, one such fandom i almost always jump on the chance to interact in is Mana Khemia, and other anime as well.

My timezone is gmt -4/5. Basically, think u.s. east coast. New york time zone more or less.
