I think i'm gonna have to drop out from the thread. ?y life suddenly got rediculously hectic and i dont foresee me being able to keep up reasonably for a long time.
The flash of light from the fireball was blinding, the ingvarr being at the front of the line catching the full first sight of it. An annoyed scowl spread across his face as he was now left to do nothing but wild swinging before him in case their adversaries were still animated. The main sensation he knew he could feel was bone, so he was at least still on target. Whether he was hitting an important spot or not was another question.. regardless, he'd been fulfilling his duty fairly well in keeping the foul creatures away from their less defended members hanging in the back, and took pride in knowing he had succeeded so far in his position. The frustration of being blinded momentarily fading as he reflected on that fact.
With any luck my schedule should be clearing up again soon!
@VitaVitaAR
Sorry for the delay! Irl stuff has been keeping me super busy lately.
Among the frontliners was the Ingvarr. Undead, just what he had worried about. His grip on his spear tightened with one hand, but he knew all too well it wasn't too useful against these hallowed creatures of what was once flesh. Instead opting to raise his buckler shield more. Blunt objects would be better. A deep breathe in as he steeled his nerves. The calm and quiet aura he had exuded before switching. His stance shifted as well, the hand tightened around the spear.. throwing it down and raising up a gauntleted fist. Sure enough he started to engage with one of the sword wielding skeletons. Using the shield to block its blows as his steel covered fist harried it with crushing strikes. Each one cracking more and more of his enemies structure, starting from the skeletons shoulder.
As they arrived the ingvarr's face had grown more and more stout and determined from its calm aloof smile before. Along with that he had changed into his set of platemail. "So, this is the ruins huh?" Low tone as he waltzed towards the entrance at the front along with Nuri. At the least he seemed confident the entrance would be somewhat safe if they lead, with weapons at the ready.

"If i lead the way whatever is down here will naturally focus on me, so should i stay a couple paces ahead?" Calm question as he raised the buckler on his right arm with a glance back to the rest of the party. "I've also brought rope and other essentials for traversal in my pack if we might need use of them. Don't be afraid to ask."
Been busy the past couple days! Younger brother graduated today. I'll try to get a reply out a.s.a.p.
Its all good. Delays happen and all we can do is adapt to them.
As the others went about introducing themself the giant gives a small smile and outstretches a hand for the paladin. "It's nice to meet you. You can call me Dolivodro, Kaspov, or Tank. Tank is my guild alias at times." Quiet and subdued tone from the giant as he turned head to look over all the companions that will be going with. Most of them female and some quite short as well.

"Ah, my equipment includes a set of full plate, a spear, and a buckler. I'm not too good against the undead since only my fists and shield are particularly useful as a blunt answer. Frankly, i'd prefer if someone else can handle them for me.." the ingvarr rattled off about his state within the party, though when it came to the undead part his face spoke even louder than his words, showing what could be read as either fear or just general discomfort with them.
The monastery quest had caught this giant man's eye as well, though the girl had grabbed it first. He didn't want to be a bother and push others out of the way for a quest he wanted after all.. rather this one looked like it could use a couple skilled adventurers. The thought passed his mind. Maybe i should ask if I could tag along on that quest. Ruins are rather dangerous without enough people after all. There could be undead or any other matter of invaders... and it would be up to us to figure what it was, if possible eliminate it, and bring back what treasures came along with the ride. It would certainly fill my pocketbook a bit..

There he went lost in thought again, like a great pillar partially obscuring the room now as he kept his eye towards the quest counter that the self proclaimed Reonite sauntered over to with the quest paper. He just had to make up his mind first. With a light huff and a self affirming nod he walked over and spoke up. Mature and somewhat deep tone as he attempted to make eye contact. "if you need tall people, i could fill a slot in your party. I'm built like a barge and confident in my strength at least." It helped that the tag around his neck also stated he was a 5 of sword.
