It was a fine summer's day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and there were people out on the streets doing all kinds of things. From children playing to adults carrying out their daily work, the city of Venne was a bustle of activity. After all, there was no way anyone would ignore the opportunity to take advantage of such wonderful weather. At least for the most part.

And the adventurers of the guild were no exception to this fact. The Guild hall, too, was surrounded by activity. Citizens of Venne were busy submitting jobs for the guild, ranging from simple low-level pest control to bandit hunts, to clearing a location of goblins. There were all kinds of jobs ready for any adventurer of any level. There was even a request to persuade a dragon to stop harassing Dansbell, though it was difficult to tell how serious it was based on how it was written.

Inside the guild hall there was no small amount of activity, as well. Adventurers of all sorts, ranging from the lowest ranks to the highest, were purchasing food or drink, registering bounties, trying to find a party to tackle whatever jobs they were taking on. The guild staff behind the counter, in charge of handling administrative duties for the adventurers, certainly had their job cut out for them on a busy day like this.

Precisely why the guild was so busy today wasn't exactly clear, but maybe a lot of problems for a lot of people had simply gotten out of hand at the same time.

The entrance hall of the guild was wide, with a high arched ceiling supported by wooden beams and connected to the entrance by a narrower, shorter hall. On the far end was the counter for registering quests and opposite it a small tavern, equipped to serve adventurers with food and drink.

The board displaying various job requests was on the right side of the guild hall, and was currently a rather crowded place due to the sheer volume of requests coming in. Certainly adventurers were rarely without a job, but this seemed a bit extreme for a day that didn't seem particularly different from any other.

Still, that was hardly bad news, now was it? Plenty of jobs meant plenty of options for plenty of adventurers.

The girls behind the registration counter were certainly being kept busy. There were a few notable sights as well, in particular the slender, somewhat short, blonde-haired figure of what was the guild's only high elf adventurer(as far as anyone knew) taking a job to the counter and leaving in short order the moment that she was approved for it.

Certainly, it was a busy day.

A busy day indeed in this city. For this farmer turned adventurerer the hustle and bustle of the city was still something he did not fully adjust to, but at least it was direct and efficient. The doors to the guild opened with a small quiet creak as the giant of an ingvarr entered the guild to inspect the jobs posted on the board along with the rest of the crowd.

A dragon's still a bit....I'm not ready to test my strength against one of those yet... His mind concluded about one of the requests silently. He had built a slight reputation in the area by now but even still he had to accept jobs just like anyone else. Mm...maybe i'll help out a newbie group with a goblin extermination...though the pay is low i'm confident i could get it done quickly and take on another quest to keep my money up...i need to save up a good bit still so i can have my armor looked at and worked on.. just like that he was losing into his thoughts.

Sitting on a barstool, one strong leg on the ground, Nuri Tajra smiled at the alcohol in her hand. Orange, red, and yellow casual clothes adorned her body, her hood pulled back, her swept over brown hair loose and lazy. She leaned back and downed the shot in one go, reached down and slapped a silver coin into the bar.

"Ahh. Thanks a million." She said, winking at the bartender. She leaned back and glanced over at the crowd gathering at the mission board.

"Boy. Busy, busy, busy bees." Nuri commented, pointing at it with her wlbow on the bar.

"That's okay, you all go first. That way everyone'll take the easy, free jobs, and I'm only left with the worthwhile ones. It's a self-regulating system, you see?" Nuri declared to the rest of the room, her voice inflacted with false braggadocio. Who she was talking too, nobody could guess. It was probably everyone.

"Although, I'm a bit curious, I must admit. I think I saw the word dragon written somewhere? Might be good for a warmup!" Nuri chuckled. With that, Nuri rose to her feet and did a high hop, right onto the bar table. She held up her shot glass like it was a magnifying glass and shielded her eyes from a non-existent sun, as if to try and get a good look at the mission board from her place across the room.

"I am..." She paused. "Drunk." She front flipped off the tavern and landed with a thud on the floorboards.

"Hmm. Okay. Didn't break my neck with that- maybe drunk's a strong word. I'm bored, thats it! Been too long since I picked a good fight. I'm riled up. Forget going last, I lied. Outta the way! I want a job, and I want it now!" With that she began ducking and nudging people out of the way, past a particularly large Ingvarr and to the job board.

"'Cuse me, 'xcuuuse me. Comin' through."

Such a busy day! Boy, was Trina sure she heard that phrase plenty before. Well, it's what your heard in the Guild Hall when you frequented it every day. The fairy was more than happy to have something to do. "Neffy! Come on, hurry slowass!" She mentioned to her partner in crime as she bursted ahead to the Adventurer's guild. As she came to the door, she saw a familiar sight. The High Elf adventurer! If memory served, she had a boing behind. So, as a matter of fairy principle, she needed to mess with the girl. A quick little fairy slap would do. And so she did it. Quickly. Decisively. She caught the elf's eye and stuck her tongue out at her as she ducked inside before the door closed in on her after a large Ingvarr man opened the door for himself.

Now, this was a place! Drunkards! Adventurers! Drunkard Adventurers! What wasn't there to enjoy? In fact, there was one drunkard adventurer that stood out more than the others. She proudly declared something about others taking the easy jobs and that leaving her with the worthwhile ones. "Yeesh." Trina muttered to herself. "Talk about self involved..." She mentioned as she hovered for a bit, considering what to do. She smirked as a bright idea came to mind. She flew over to the Drunkard Adventurer woman who had just pushed past the Ingvarr that Trina had followed in. Quickly, quietly as she could, she attempted to swipe the woman's hood down with one good pull before fleeing towards the Guild Counter with a small giggle.

As she approached the counter, she found the guild girl she liked to flirt work with the most who just so happened to be free at the moment. As she got close, she slowed her speed and eventually stopped, sliding in with what she thought was a eye catching pose but really just seemed obnoxious. "Hey there, Diane. How's your day been? Got anything for me and Neffy today?" She asked as if they were hand-picked for quests quite often.

Now, if one were to ask why Diane was Trina's target of flirtation rather than any of the other girls, the fairy would answer, "Well, it's cause she's the most... Like... Boing! You know?" Plus, the fairy just tended to like pretty things in general like other fairies. Regardless, she sat there, expecting an affirmative answer despite knowing that they never really got handpicked for anything from the pretty lady in front of her.

Corinne and Liliane

The two Hundi were also over by the tavern, though eating as well as drinking. Liliane kept giving the bottle of Ithillane wine Corinne had immediately gone for a frustrated look; it was possibly the most expensive thing you could get here without asking for something truly exotic. To her, one of those adventurers who hoarded every penny she could earn... that sort of spending was just uncomfortable. Not having to be concerned about money was just such a... strange thought and she still couldn't get used to her wife's frankly cavalier attitude towards buying things worth as much as an entire job payment.

Corinne was, naturally, blissfully unaware of such things, eating through the hearty stew with a thoughtful look. Probably not to suggest ways the taste could be improved--she'd already stopped talking about that--but instead to stare at the elf. "Maybe I should practice my Elvish? I would hate to forget how..."

Liliane fiddled with her spoon a bit. This girl... "You've been speaking it your whole life and keep forgetting I don't understand it. That's not going to happen."

"But what if? I never left home this long before!"

"You've never been to Thaeln and you haven't forgotten that, have you?"

"Well, no..."

"There you are, then. Anyway, I'll go look at jobs in a minute..."

The one downside for anyone hoping to listen in was the entire conversation being in Ithillane.

~Neffy~

"T-trina wait...!" Calling after the fairy, a small humanoid wearing a thick cloak walked into the guild hall. "Ah, ah...! Oh dear, oh goodness..." She would take a few moments to seemingly panic on the spot and observe the rather busy, chaotic display in front of her. Really, she should have expected it'd be like this. When was the guild not overly lively in some fashion? Not that she disliked it, no. As long as they weren't focused on her, she'd be fine.

Neffy pulled her hood down, retreating deeper into the shadows it provided and running into the guildhall with a surprisingly competent step, weaving through the crowd and people with an practiced agility, barely even making her presence known to those she had even passed as she chased after her fairy 'friend'. Urgh, really, why did she get stuck with such an annoyance? The amount of times she had wanted to just stuff her in the jar and leave her on the shelf...

Thankfully, she hadn't gone overboard in any fashion and was just being her usual self, and it didn't take her very long to catch up to the fairy. She had a few choice words as always, but for now she held her tongue. She didn't want to cause more of scene and potentially become the center of it.

"...Sahtas..." Neffy would greet quietly as ever, voice barely audible above the raucous din of the guildhall. "...Uhm...sorry...for her." She bowed her head slightly, ignoring the buzzing of the fey-shaped pest.

Léon Reverdin

It appears that it will be a busy day for the Guild.

A young man stepped through the door, carrying a small basket with a few pieces of fruit and bottle of water. The first thing he noticed when he entered was the crowding around the job board, and the commotion coming from it. It looked like the jobs had just been posted, and there were more than usual. Instead of joining the bustling crowd in hopes of snagging a job, however, he sat down at one of the tavern tables next to a Hundi couple conversing in Ithillane. He couldn't understand it, and saw no need to pry.

Léon avoided making eye contact with the bartender. He didn't want to get dragged into a conversation about how he had not bought food from the guild tavern, and how he opted for simple water rather than one of the bar's drinks. He certainly meant no offense, it was just that as a Mayonite, he held a certain reverence for pure water and as a cleric, he preferred not to drink beverages that could muddy his mind.

He saw no need to get involved with the job boards. He wasn't a loner, but he didn't like pushing his way through crowds, and saw no point in doing so. Unless the people rushing to get the jobs intended to do them solo- a very dangerous endeavor- they'd need to gather a team. While the exact compositions of teams varied from job to job, his role as a Cup- someone whose job it was to use magic to keep people alive- was always welcome, and often indispensable. Once the jobs were divvied up and the people were looking to put their groups together, Léon would step in and volunteer himself. Until then, he'd just focus on enjoying his meal.

"You...!"

The high elf turned on her heel, immediateley scanning the crowd. She knew exactly who was the perpetrator, how could she not? But unfortunately, the crowds made it difficult to get her hands on the obnoxious little fairy. Why did anyone tolerate her, anyway?

With a huff, the girl swiftly carried on out of the guild hall, likely aiming to pursue whatever job it was that she had accepted at the counter.

Meanwhile, behind it, the young woman that Trina had approached rolled her eyes with a heavy sigh. She had pale brown hair up in a bun and purple eyes, with a purple dress. She looked to be in her early twenties, with fairly light, soft features.

"You have to know that it doesn't work this way by now, right?" she complained, "The jobs are posted on the board, you have to register one of those with me."

She sighed, glancing towards Neffy as she did.

"You don't need to apologize, I'm more sorry that you have to put up with her," she gestured towards the fairy as she spoke.

Meanwhile, anyone perusing the requests posted on he board would likely notice a set of potential jobs that looked to be in just the right range of skill:

Orc activity is on the rise between Venne and Walverrest. The crown has placed a bounty on every orc killed, with a bonus for confirming the area is clear of any further infestation. Risk to seasoned adventurers is estimated to be low; minimal sign of Troll activity.
The First Task

A monastery lost since the war against Orodrunn has been located and the church is willing to pay handsomely for any artefacts recovered. As the location is buried within Amalril, the risk cannot easily be quantified and novices are advised to look elsewhere.

As Nuri pushed in, she felt a sudden pull on her hoo. "Whoop!" She stumbled back a step, loosing her balance. She turned around to find the source, but to no avail. Only, perhaps, a small giggle. Nuri smiled. "I had that one coming. And more if you ask the Church." She said aloud to the perpetrator. Keeping her hood down, for now, she approached the job board.

There was one in particular that caught her eye. She flicked the paper with the back of her finger. "Speaking of the Church. Maybe this could get them to forgive me for that bar fight." She murmered to herself.

Nuri leaned forward and began to read the Second Task aloud. "A monastery lost since the war against Orodrunn, right, has been located and the church is willing to pay handsomely for any artefacts recovered. Hear that? Handsomely. Not pay beautifully, or cutely, handsomely. As the location is buried within Amalril, the risk cannot easily be quantified and novices are advised to look elsewhere pshaaa. Haha. This is right up my alley. It's like looting, but for a good cause."

Nuri backed up swaggered over to the contract table. She raised an amused eyebrow at the fairy's pose, the other upset looking fairy, and the contracters reaction. She caught a snippet of their conversation.

"Put me down as goin' on a trip to Amalril. I'm taking up the Second Task to find some artifacts. And if you're interested..." She turned to look at the two fairies. "...Then you can come with me. Experienced adventurers only, of course. But you two look like you can handle it." She turned and leaned back on the counter.

"Of course, I am going to need some taller people who are capable of carrying said valuable artifacts. I'm a Reonite, so I'll know 'em when I see 'em." She said, pulling up her hood once again and brushing some hair out of her face and smiling brightly. Nuri was radiant with casual confidence.

The monastery quest had caught this giant man's eye as well, though the girl had grabbed it first. He didn't want to be a bother and push others out of the way for a quest he wanted after all.. rather this one looked like it could use a couple skilled adventurers. The thought passed his mind. Maybe i should ask if I could tag along on that quest. Ruins are rather dangerous without enough people after all. There could be undead or any other matter of invaders... and it would be up to us to figure what it was, if possible eliminate it, and bring back what treasures came along with the ride. It would certainly fill my pocketbook a bit..

There he went lost in thought again, like a great pillar partially obscuring the room now as he kept his eye towards the quest counter that the self proclaimed Reonite sauntered over to with the quest paper. He just had to make up his mind first. With a light huff and a self affirming nod he walked over and spoke up. Mature and somewhat deep tone as he attempted to make eye contact. "if you need tall people, i could fill a slot in your party. I'm built like a barge and confident in my strength at least." It helped that the tag around his neck also stated he was a 5 of sword.

Corinne and Liliane

As she had said, Liliane got up to look at the boards, eyes flicking through the appropriate quests. It couldn't be too easy--those were dull and she didn't want to take any work away from those just starting out--but it also couldn't be something too hard due to Corinne's total lack of experience. Out of those that seemed the right range... ah, an extermination or an exploration quest? Whilst there was no doubt that magic would be an efficient way of clearing out orcs, she just couldn't see the soft-hearted girl really taking that well as her first really combat-focused job.

"Room for more? I'm looking for something less combat-focused," the white-haired Hundi said, hearing the paladin's statement of interest. "Still getting Corinne over there used to adventuring."

Neither of them fit the bill for "taller", only the guild's fairies and Nem were shorter than they were, but Liliane was reasonably well known as an experienced adventurer. Not so well-known, but hardly a secret, was that she'd gone on a trip to Ithillin and come back married--it didn't take a genius to work out where Corinne came into all this, then.

"H-hey!" Trina complained back at the Guild Girl. "She loves to put up with me!" She continued, breaking her obnoxious pose and stomping her foot a small bit. "And you do too! Don't deny it!" She mentioned before someone appeared behind her and made her give a soft scream as her guard was wholly down. Oh, it was that one hooded girl that couldn't shut her mouth. Upon thinking this, Trina actually realized it made her a sort of hypocrite, but at the same time this girl could probably stand holding it shut for five seconds so she doesn't blurt anything dumb out.

Still.... She did mention... Experienced adventurers... She didn't know much about this quest but she was definitely an experienced adventurer! She swiped the paper from Nuri to look at herself. "Hmm, hmm. Yes, yes. Monas-try... Pay handsomely... Arty-facts..." She made some more noises as she comprehended what she read. "I see! Yes! You do need experienced explorers for this!" That was when she noticed that a big Ingvarr man and two Hundi girls. She didn't really expect so many people to appear around them! When did everyone show up!? Wait, they were here for the quest as well? Her eyes darted between everyone that had gathered around this guild counter. The Ingvarr man was a Five of Swords and that's all she needed to glean before she chose her next words. She held the paper off to the side for dear Neffy to read before she spoke.

"Well, my fellow travelers! I'll have you know, I happen to be quite an experienced adventurer with my good friend Nefrena here! You should be glad to meet the-" Lightly under her breath she added, "self" before continuing again, "Acclaimed Seven of Coins, Trina the Nimble!" All throughout, she was rather self theatrical about it. "We would be more than happy to plun-- I mean, search the depths of this monastry!" She seemed rather proud of herself though if they knew of her antics they'd probably see right through her boastings.

Léon Reverdin

Léon turned his head the moment Nuri described the second task, only barely resisting the urge to spit out his drink. As a cleric of Mayon, this news was very exciting, and he immediately knew that he wanted into the job. The chance to take part in uncovering a monastery lost since the time of Orodrunn was a very rare opportunity, and he'd be a fool to miss out on this.

I'd better get into the group before they can find another Cup for the mission...

The cleric got up from the barstool and made his way to the boisterous Reonite paladin advertising the quest. By the time he had reached her, several other adventurers- a male Ingvarr, a female Hundi, and a fairy- had already volunteered for the job. That'd make at least three Swords and one Coin. Fortunately, they still seemed to lack a Cup, and Léon ought to fit that bill. He knew a little about Nuri, the paladin giving the quest- she was a devotee of Reon, came from the south, and had an eagle companion. Personality-wise, she was outgoing, boisterous, and adventurous- everything Léon wasn't.

"Pardon me, Reonite sister, but it looks like you still need a Cup," he spoke up once he reached the paladin. "Léon Reverdin, cleric of Mayon, one of the Keepers of the Shrine of the Pierced Skull, and 5 of Cups. I'd like to join your group. I know I'm not exactly...tall," he admitted, looking up at the slightly-taller paladin, "But we shrine keepers know a thing or two about carrying heavy objects and properly handling relics." Léon knew that his normal appearance was quite unimposing, to the point that he had been mistaken for a guild customer more than once, but almost every adventuring group needed a healer.

~Neffy~

"R-right..." Neffy looked up at the fairy. She really wouldn't say 'love' not in the slightest, but she didn't have the heart to say it aloud. Not right now, at least. Besides...well, maybe she didn't mind the fey, even if she didn't want to entirely admit it. "I-it's fine. Really. I don't...mind." The Nem waved bye before following Trina over to the board. It was difficult to see up there so easily, but at least Trina was good at something sometimes. Seemed like there were already quite a few people interested in the quests left.

Hm.

Neffy quietly let Trina introduce the two of them as she looked over the paper. Probably not the best of ideas, that, but it was hard to talk over her. Jeez, how could someone smaller than her be five times as loud? She didn't understand it. If she was as small as Trina she'd just...well, she'd probably never want to be seen out of fear of being squished by a Juyuem. Probably hide in a library and spend her time stea-ahem borrowing the books.

"...uhm...!" Neffy managed to find her voice easily enough after a few moments. "I'm...a coin. Five. Er, five of coins. And uhm, it's Neffy. Ah can handle...moving quietly." Oh dear, she introduced herself rather badly. She really wasn't good at this. Hopefully they didn't kick her out at least. She did know what she was doing after all.

Diane watched the fairy and the nem depart to the board for a moment, before the paladin took up her view.

"Ah, the Almaril job? Excellent," she clapped her hands together as she took the sheet, scanning it with her violet gaze, "The local clergy has been growing anxious. Seems they fear that someone far less scrupulous might catch wind of the discovery."

Perhaps posting the information publicly was a poor way to avoid looters attempting to cash in on priceless religious relics, but then again it was truthfully the best way to get assistance given the apparent lack of disciples at their disposal for the moment. Perhaps they were banking in the appeal of exploration to the typical adventurer?

Whatever the case may be, Diane retrieved her stamp, the official Estival Adventurer's Guild seal, from beneath the desk.

"So, how many are accepting the job?"

Nuri nodded at Diane. "Yes, ma'am, the Almaril job. Should be good to go: said unscrupulous types should know not to mess with the Dual Church. They'll back off once we make our presence known." Nuri turned around and was suddenly positively beset by an array of competent gold-seekers such as herself. A busy day, indeed! It didn't take long for adventurers of varying levels of eagerness and confidence to approach her. Nuri appraised each of them in turn, putting on a show of looking very discerning and critical at first. Then she dropped the facade.

"Five of swords, big, tall. Exactly what the doctor ordered. A perfect fit!" Nuri said to the Ingvarr that approached.

Room for more? a Hundi asked. "Always! You and Corinne should be good to go. Just make sure the rookie doesn't get into too much trouble." She said with a wink towards the white-haired girl.

The (self) acclaimed Seven of Coins, Trina, made her desire to join the party very clear. Nuri smiled broadly at her antics. "With someone as skilled as you on our team, nothing can stop us. If we ever need any locks picked, you can just fly through the keyhole and unlock it from the other side." She teased lightly.

A person she was very interested in showed up next. Clearly a Mayonite. "Brother!" Nuri exclaimed. She went in for a friendly one-armed hug, shaking him jovially back and forth. "Could always use a Cup, especially one of your background. Don't worry about the tallness, it's fine! The Ingvarr has that covered for all of us. Besides, you're plenty tall enough to swing around one of those awesome warhammers."

Nuri cast a look over to the fairy who introduced herself as Neffy. Her smile became kinder and less bold. "Well. We'll be happy to have you, Neffy." She covered one side of her mouth and leaned into whisper. She indicted Trina with her thumb. "We're gonna need someone a little quieter to keep us balanced, anyway."

Nuri cleared her throat, leaning back on the counter. "Allow me to introduce myself! For those of you who haven't heard of me, my name is Nuri Tajra. I'm a Paladin of Reonite. I'm ranked as a Six, of Swords." She bowed. "From the looks of it, me and the Ingvarr will be making up the frontline of our party, should we run into trouble."

Nuri peered around the room as Diane asked her question. "Any more than this, and we'd just become overencumbered. An adventuring party needs to remain small and light on its feet to remain effective. There's seven members of our party, Diane. We'll be striking out soon." She smacked the table, excited.

"But, I don't think I caught all your names. I've got Corinne," She pointed at the Wand, "Neffy," she pointed at the quiet fairy. "And..." She looked at Trina quizically. She snapped her fingers a few times as if she was trying to remember.

"Ooh...what was it? Dina? Trixie? Hmm...sorry about this, usually I'm quite good with names." Nuri smiled a tilted smile. "Trina, that's it! Regardless, we'll need to know each other's names if we're going to co-ordinate effeciently." Nuri turned, yoinked the paper, and slid it across the table to Diane.

"Ready for your stamp. Job's as good as done." Nuri gave the new crew an encouraging thumbs up.

Corinne and Liliane

Rather than answer her name, Liliane had darted back to the table, tugging a pitiable-looking Corine after her. Honestly, how expressive she could be with those ears... did she need to look that much like a kicked puppy just because her dinner was left slightly unfinished? It wasn't like she couldn't go back and eat it after they were done signing up. Fortunately, Corinne cheered up pretty much immediately, even though she was remaining firmly behind Liliane.

Not that it did all that much good to hide behind her, since they were the same height and Liliane was a waifish thing.

"Liliane," the white-haired Hundi said, keeping her introduction brief.

Unaware that she had already been introduced, Corinne followed suit, accent surprisingly pronounced, "Corinne Julienne Delphine de Tiffauges, at your service. Ah... I'm quite a new wand, so I 'ope you won't hold it against me. But my wife is much more experienced than I am!"

She was even pushing Liliane ahead slightly, as if trying to offer her as a bribe.

Trina was listen quietly as everyone else introduced themselves. Well, quiet as this fairy got. She got very offended when Nuri mentioned she could fly through a keyhole and unlock it from the other side. "How rude!" She remarked. "I am quite the amazing lockpick damn you!" She yelled but was likely ignored.

Nuria just kept talking though. Trina felt a small bit like a hypocrite, not that she knew what that word meant, when she felt that Nuri talked a whole hell of a lot. Then she couldn't remember such an important fairy's name! The nerve! "Damn right it's Trina! And you better not forget it!" She seemed irritated, even through Nuri's small bit of encouragement.

"Grrrr..." She grumbled before noticing the newest member to join them. The rather well endowed companion... No... "Wife?" The fairy asked as she started flying and drew closer to the two of them. She knew what a wife was! Something, something married. And married people did... Married people stuff? How was she suppose to know? She wasn't married. What she did know was the boing was strong this one. Her gaze was rather obvious on its direction at the larger one of the two. "Did you marry her because she's got nice boing?" The fairy slyly asked as she drew close to Liliane's ear, half expecting to be slapped away since that's what most people did. She was ready.

As the others went about introducing themself the giant gives a small smile and outstretches a hand for the paladin. "It's nice to meet you. You can call me Dolivodro, Kaspov, or Tank. Tank is my guild alias at times." Quiet and subdued tone from the giant as he turned head to look over all the companions that will be going with. Most of them female and some quite short as well.

"Ah, my equipment includes a set of full plate, a spear, and a buckler. I'm not too good against the undead since only my fists and shield are particularly useful as a blunt answer. Frankly, i'd prefer if someone else can handle them for me.." the ingvarr rattled off about his state within the party, though when it came to the undead part his face spoke even louder than his words, showing what could be read as either fear or just general discomfort with them.

~Neffy~

Oh, so many people. Well, that was fine. Better than if she was just alone with another person, really. She could get away with not talking quite as much then, and at least Nuri seemed friendly. There were plenty of people here too, so she could probably get away with staying nice and comfortable doing things out of the way from everyone else. Maybe this wouldn't be too terribly difficult of a job and they wouldn't even run into anything -

Neffy turned her head towards Trina who was hovering close to one of the Hundi's ears. The Nem frowned, glad her hood hid the narrowing of her eyes. Well. If they did run into anything, she hoped Trina could fend for herself.

"...mhm, I'm going, Diane..." Neffy would confirm with the receptionist, but otherwise would be content with keeping to herself. She turned her head curiously to the one who mentioned undead. Well...undead could be handled with just as easy as anything else? They may just need a bit more...thoroughly dealt with. Not that she was one to talk about being scared of things.

She had to learn not to jump at her own shadow once she first left her home.
