Bio

Darog (/ˈdʒiːzəs/; Greek: Ἰησοῦς Badass; 7–2 BC to Whenever he feels like it), also referred to as Darog the Badger God, is the central figure of Christianity, whom the teachings of most Christian denominations hold to be the Son of The Great Badger. Christianity regards Darog as the awaited Messiah (or "The Badger God") of the Old Testament and refers to him as Darog Barrowolf, a name that is also used in non-Christian contexts. Virtually all modern scholars of antiquity agree that Darog existed historically, although the quest for the historical Darog has produced little agreement on the historical reliability of the Gospels and on how closely the biblical Darog reflects the historical Darog. Most scholars agree that Darog The Badger God was a great warrior and an all round badass. who preached his message orally, was baptized in the blood of his fallen enemies by some weird fuck, and was crucified in Jerusalem on the orders of the Roman prefect, some poncy no namer. Scholars have constructed various portraits of the historical Darog, which often depict him as having one or more of the following roles: the leader of an apocalyptic movement, Messiah, a charismatic healer, a sage and philosopher, or an egalitarian social reformer, or more accurately, the baddest ass of all. Scholars have correlated the New Testament accounts with non-Christian historical records to arrive at an estimated chronology of Darog's life. The widely accepted calendar era (abbreviated as "AD", alternatively referred to as "CE"), counts from a medieval estimate of the awesomeness of Darog. Christians believe that Darog has a "unique significance" in the world. Christian doctrines include the beliefs that Darog was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin, performed miracles and blackjack parties with hookers and shotguns, founded the Church of Cool, died by crucifixion as a sacrifice to achieve no fucks, rose from the dead to get bitches and give his killers stitches, and ascended into heaven, whence he will return after his all nighters of drinking and sexual deviancy. The great majority of Christians worship Darog as the incarnation of The Great Badger, The Badger God, the second of three persons of a Divine Trinity. In Islam, Darog (commonly transliterated as "Dargod") is considered one of The Great Badger's important prophets and the Messiah. To Muslims, Darog is a bringer of Coolness and was born of a badass sexy Badger girl. According to the Quran, Jesus was not crucified but was physically raised into the heavens by The Great Badger.

Part 1: The Adventure's Beginnings/ Momog's Mighty Boast.

Aldrick. No city in Galadia was as bustling and full of life as Aldrick, the capital of the nation. Merchant caravans rolled into the heart of the city centre, carrying goods from the nearby nations of Brumas and Rumbia, civilians and guests of the city bumbled about its wide streets, shopping and exploring to their heart's content, and the skies were filled with air ships, kept aloft by strange magics and revolutionary technology, the blending of which had led to Galadia's growing fortune in recent decades. The jewel of Galadia was known for its high society and technology, which drew nobles and rich common folk from miles around, but in truth Aldrick was a melting pot of cultures from across the south of Gaia, and there was something for everyone here if they knew where to look. The tiered city was enormous, and was a city more than worthy of acting as Galadia's capital.

Amongst the spires, towers, and fortress-like manors that compose the Grand District lies the Hall of Kings. A memorial to the leaders of Galadia long since passed, the Hall of Kings serves as both the offices of the governing bodies of the kingdom and an ancient crypt to house the long decease members of the royal family. As grand, almost divine as the Hall of Kings appeared on the outside, only the offices maintained such a level of grandeur. The lower levels were old and dimly lit, a maze of thin corridoors and secret passages that seemed designed to confuse and deceive those that wandered through them.

Today the offices of the Hall of Kings were as busy as the city streets. Within the tallest spire of the fortress sat a gathering of nobles, courtiers, and advisors around a large table within an assembly room. Decorated with marble statues, gilded silver leaves, and imported silks in the of the Galadian flag, this room was among the most intricate and ostentatious rooms in the entire complex. "It seems the number of Arms Wielders keeps on growing. We need to be more vigilent, who knows what we may have on our hands." The tall cloaked man stated. Tall and heavily adorned in noble robes, his rather stern, lined face was framed by long silver hair and a goatee. His name was Royal Advisor Rugas, a powerful man of nobility and the cheif advisor to the King's Council. The other five cloaked but masked individuals listened intently to Rugas. "For now, I vote that we don't act hastilly." as the words escaped his lips the rest of the room erupted into roar between nobles who agreed and disagreed with the advisor.

"Order! Knight Commander Ajax, your opinion on this matter?" Rugas demanded, as the heavily knight wondered from the corner. "We've seen an increase strange behaviour across Galadia to do with magic and the arcane. Slumbering dragons have awoke and began to feed, village or otherwise. Demons have begun to slip through from the Hell's Below as well. Those Arms Wielders have begun to travel in groups or "bands" if you will. This may lead to a situation that can fix itself." The knight stated formly to Rugas and the others. The chatter died down, as nobles began to accept Rugas' decision. "A new age is dawning on us, friends. Let's not get passed by."

"And to think, the tale you wanted written wasn't hard at all!" the young looking, well dressed man stated as the larger gruff beast of a warrior nodded as he read the writers manuscript. "you just need to make sure it's safe when you take it to Aldrick, hopefully they will take your prowess within the Arena as something worth keeping in their Libraris Sanctum" The larger man nodded waving his farewell to the young scribe. He wore a simple set of travelling garbs, a scarf wrapped around his shoulder and neck, a feathered hate adorned the top of his head. "Well Mavlek, another happy customer!" He leaned back on his chair, sitting at a rather cluttered desk of manuscripts and quills. the room itself was dimly lit under the starry sky, messy and cluttered with bookshelves that lined the walls, containing various tomes of varying fiction and non-fiction alike.

He looked at his companion, a rather small, strangely winged pig and gave it a smile. "Well Hammy, you did good in looking for some particular adventurers. Though it's been a day since you arrived, We will wait if you feel they are trustworthy enough!" Mavlek explained to his rather boarish partner. It will be nice to get out of Digbeth for a while, honestly, even if it's just for a few months." Mavlek got a little excited at the prospect.

Mavlek saw himself an "Indepedant Scribe", writing down events and tales as best as he saw fit, however it seemed that latelyall he wrote were the tales of Arena Champions. He wanted a change of pace; to travel and write down the adventures and tales of a band of "heroes."

"any day now, they will show up. I wonder exactly what they were like? I bet Hammy chose some particularly strong warriors, they even be Arms Wielders!" Mavlek said excitedly as he layed back on his chair. "A start of a new adventure!"
@Moonjuice7 Sorry, haven't had time to check on Sacred Arms, been busy with work plus splurging out has left me with little time xD.

Anyway, it's still going on! I've managed to get into contact with others who have yet to post their CS and pretty much told me to continue without them for the time being. The first IC post will be up this weekend :D.
Miko smiled, knowing that both Yunosuke and Hattori would get along, if only for their rivalry. Daigo noticed her improved demeanor and much more relaxed attitude. He grinned. She really looks up to him. If only others wouldn't treat her as harshly towards her." he thought. It was no lie that Miko's family were disgraced a long time ago, during the Second Berserker War for retreating from a large scale battle, and since, in Miko's case, descendants have been treated with contempt and anger. He looked at Hattori. "I'm free this friday, we can grab a bite to eat and catch up, eh?" Daigo responded to Hattori. "Sounds like a plan" Hattori nodded.

"Hey, Yun, you in? Wait..." Hattori heard the scream too, something he did not expect so suddenly. The shrill was of male origin and not too far either, in fact, Hattori swore it was just outside the Academy. If it was indeed the creature they were sent to take out? It must have been over confident to even get so close. He was both excited and cautious, pumped yet not entirely sure he understood what this could mean. He looked over to his partner, and smirked, following his lead. Hattori turned to face his friends, giving them a thumbs up. "We'll be done before lunch time!" He said, confidence oozing from his words as he picked up the speed and followed Yunosuke.

It did not take the pair long to see the young man who gave out the scream, seemingly down on the floor with his arms up in the air. Hattori headed to the bystander. "Did you see anything?" Hattori asked. "It! it was huge! This thing looked like a giant frog with sharp teeth!" The man panicked. Hattori looked at Yunosuke. "I think it’s retreated to the spirit realm, we need to follow it." Hattori advised before bringing his attention to the man. "Don't worry, everything is in order" Hattori calmed the man down, before placing him under a sleep talisman. "He'll be fine, placed a Sleep and Memory wiping Talisman on him. He will wake up and not remember us or the monster." he explained, looking at Yunosuke. "Hold my shoulder" He said, preparing to teleport themselves into the Spirit Realm. clasping both hands together, Hattori yelled "Tenso!"

As they entered the Spirit Realm, sounds of a croaking like growl could be heard. The beast showed itself; much bigger than a D-Class Berserker, and much more cunning, possibly more sentient than others. The beast was oozing a black, thick sludgy like substance, as if its entire body was mostly made of tar and slime. It's frog like features were adorned by a row of razor sharp fangs and a giant red eyes. It twitched and jerked as it crawled near to Hattori and Yunosuke. The creature's eyes moved around, before focusing on the two hunters and giving out a deafening screech. Raising it's arms above its head to slam down onto Hattori and Yunosuke, the Yokai managed to move out of the way. "Yunosuke! let's take out this ugly frog!" he shouted, a smirk etched into is face.
@Ambrosia if you don't mind, honestly. Would like to see something a little less similar to Noxxi's idea. Otherwise, accepted!

@Noxious@Moonjuice7@Grif of Hearts Accepted!

After Foxxie, Hellis and Deuce get their characters done, I will then get on with the IC post :D.
@Conflagration@Dead Cruiser - Both Accepted! I'm liking both characters :D.

@Moonjuice7 Once you add more information, I will gladly look over it.

World of Sacred Arms

The world of Galadia is filled with magic and myth, Adventurers, with great power or little power. Many often travel from nation to nation in search of treasures, most notably, powerful tools called "Arcane Arms" powerful and old that grant the wielder their potential unlocked and fully realised. They have a opposite, almost "Brother" opposite known simply as "Eldritch Arms." While Arcane Arms unlock the hidden magical potential, Eldritch Arms grant their wielder untold magical power but at a great cost, physically metaphorically or symbolically. Galladia and the surrounding nations have only just ended a three century long war, accumulating into peace treaty. What was known as "The Age of Wars and Blood" as ended and paved the path for a new, seemingly lighter age; "The Age of Adventurers." No time of peace lasts forever, and a dark force is stirring, awaiting for its time to rise.

A scribe, a story teller-in training has searched long and hard to join a band of powerful adventurers so he can pen their tales of heroism and bloody battles along side his pet pig, Hammy. You are an adventurer of great worth, even owning your own Arcane Arm, your experience can range from a few years, to centuries, whether you're a "Hardened Stalwart Knight" or a "Happy go lucky Thief", you are seeking an adventure for whatever reason has compelled you to. You have taken a liking to this Scribe's sense of wonder and adventure and have decided to join him

World Information/Arcane Arms and Eldritch Arms

Arcane Arms: Powerful tools used to unlock the wielder's true magical potential and grant them untold power. While they are common, and sometimes often mistakenly used by those of little to no magical potential, they only show their true power and strength to whomever they deem "worthy" enough to unleash the hidden power within. To the current races, they are a mystery and tools of legend that have been a part of the World's history for as long as the nations have existed, some speculate they are far older and may have had a hand in shaping the world.

Eldritch Arms: If Arcane Arms represent "light" and "good" then Eldritch Arms are often seen as the darker, more twisted twin. An Eldritch Arm is rarely seen without a wielder, preferring to "offer" it's power to anyone who find themselves in times of dire need. They grant their weilder untold power and strength to destroy and eradicate with ease. This comes at a great, heavy price to burden. They share a sortof symbiotic history with the Arcane Arms; wherever one or the other appears, it is not long before it runs into a ounterpart of the opposite.

Galadia: The Nation of Galadia is the largest of the Southern Gaia Continent Nations, and perhaps the more diverse in terms of Terrain, with snowy mountains, Green Plains, a large magical forest and a coast.. Right in the middle lies the Grand Forest known as Sylvala, and often acts as the main connection to the various towns and Kingdoms that have settled within Galadia. Galadia prides itself in its fantastical architecture, the advancement of Magitech, and it's unified King Council, that leads Galadia's affairs. Sylvans are often associated as "Galadians" formally when it comes to politics.

Brumas: Brumas is a nation of tribal warriors and shamans. Situated to the east of Galadia, They are the least hostile out of the three surrounding nations. Their homeland is mostly great stretches of brown and gree plains, with little to no forests. Brumans are often rowdy, loud and ready for a fight and are highly skilled Cavaliers, Archers and Spearmen. They are led by a "Grand Warlord" A powerful individual both physically and mentally. They allow magic to practiced, but under careful and watchful eyes.

Vroncroft: Vroncoft is the northern nation, their region is much harsher and colder than the other three. Vroncroft is often seen as the most hostile of nations, definitely the more militant. Their adament "Anti-magic" stance is infamously known, since the Templar Order has taken control of the nation. They view Eldritch Arms as "abominations of the world" whilst believing that Arcane Arms are the gift of the "One True Lord" to battle and destroy demonic sorcery. They are led by a "King Templar" a title recently coined for the then Knight Commander

Rumbia: Rumbia is more secretive, and arguably the smallest of the nations and situated to the west of Galadia. Considered more magically attuned with the world, they study magic as a path of Enlightenment. They are trained Monks, often seen to be peaceful and non-war like, however, this gives The Rumbians a slight advantage, for they are quite skillfuly talent in the art of combat, and often will fight if cornered or push enough. They are led by an "Emperor" who guides his people on the path of wisdom.

Races of Galadia

Giants: The titans of Galadia. Giants are enormous humanoids similar to humans in appearance, usually ranging between ten and fifteen feet tall, and with sturdy, muscular builds. Despite their enormous frames, giants are a remarkably calm and noble people, seeing themselves as protectors of the smaller races and upholders of peace and law. This is embodied by the giants of Granwald, the only large settlement of giants in the known world.

Typically giants live in clans and are nomadic; they wander place to place, occasionally settling in abandoned forts and watchtowers to rest before moving on again. Others stay longer, but all giants move on eventually, even if it may take their clan a generation to do so. Some old forts have been home to dozens of giant clans over the years, who may vanish one day only to be replaced by another in the next. Furthermore, giant clans are flexible. Those who wish to leave, whether for personal goals or conflicting interest with the other clan members, are free to do so, and may form their own clan or join another, on the condition they swear fealty to the matriarch or patriarch, the leading individual, of the new clan.

Because of this, Granwald still retains much of its nomadic culture despite being static. It is ruled by its own matriarch, Molivia, and roving clans join the city frequently. The individuals swear fealty to the matriarch during the stay, promising to abide by the rules of her clan and by extension the city, only to reform their old clan once they leave. Most citizens of Granwald live this way, acting only as temporary residents before leaving. The city itself is ever changing, as giants set up camps and temporary structures around the centre of the city, some of the only permanent structures in it. Those who dedicate themselves to Granwald are an entirely different kind of giant, who dedicate themselves to their crafts, and are known as some of the world's most brilliant crafstmen and weaponsmiths. The city guard are knights in armour, having undergone rigorous training and equipped with the finest weapons and armour, contrasting greatly with their berserker cousins who still keep travelling.

While giants are known for their calm, determined, and practical nature, they are not without emotions, and are known to experience bloodrages. When under times of extreme stress, either mental or physical, a giant may enter a bloodrage, in which they cease to experience pain or restraint and act on only the basest of instincts. Most giants possess remarkable mental fortitude and can resist these urges should they arise, and those of particular note can use this to trigger or surpress it at will, transforming into juggernauts on the battlefield at a moment's notice.

Sylvans: Descendants of the world's nature spirits, the sylvans are powerful, if erratic, supernatural creatures that inhabit the world's wilderness. Sylvans come in many forms, from the lofty treants to the cunning goblins and pixies, and are equally varied in their disposition and abilities, united only in a common ancestor and a shared connection to the Sacred Oak, an enormous tree that acts as the heart of the sylvan capital, Sylvala. While their ancestors, nature spirits, were bound to the tree by supernatural forces, sylvans are no longer forced to remain within the confines of the Oak's territory, but the tree still has important spiritual and historical importance to them.

Sylvala encompasses almost all of the network of trees and roots that connect to the Sacred Oak, a hundred thousand miles of seemingly untouched forestland that hides a complex and oftentimes mysterious society of the sylvans. The Sacred Oak is a parent and a guardian, protecting the forestland from harm that might come to it, but Sylvala itself is guided by an individual with a strong connection to the Oak known as the Chosen. The Chosen acts as a link between the tree and the sylvan people.

Because of their varied forms, sylvans have numerous strengths and weaknesses that vary depending on their kind. Treants are physically powerful beyond even that of giants but are patient and wise, and should fate be kind they can live onwards of a thousand years. The sheer variation between sylvans makes listing all of their traits impossible. Goblins are feral and short-tempered, more animal than anything, and can live up to thirty years if their impatience does not end it sooner. By far the most common kind of sylvan is the pixie though; small, winged humanoids that most sylvans believe to be closest to the nature spirits of old. They are playful and inquisitive, highly talented with magic, and if the Sacred Oak stands, immortal.
