Lui curiously listened to the Myti's story. He spoke of the differences between males and females among Myti. So it wasn't just humans who had genders? Then is it just elves who don't have genders? Or do elf genders just not look different at all?

I should ask Aelih. They seem nice enough. Oh and I should ask Dani about his ear.

Then he began talking about the Myti females maturing very quickly. Lui never really 'grew up' so she had no clue what it was like to 'mature'. Dani seemed about to explain why it's so important to keep male Myti alive, but then he suddenly stopped.

Why'd he stop? Is it some kind of big secret he's not allowed to tell us? Are Myti males crucial to a Myti plan to conquer the entire island? Do Myti males become Weapons of Mass Destruction when they grow up? Why won't he tell us!

Lui was about to ask him when Dani beat her to asking a question. Or, well, trying to ask a question. It seemed like Dani hadn't quite mastered the art of conversation yet, but that's normal. Neither had Lui after all, so it must be normal, right?

But nevertheless, the point came across. Dani researched artifacts and he was able to tell that Lui's eye was magical. Apparently he smelt it or something? Whatever the case, Lui had already anticipated someone asking her about it...

"It's... a long story, really. Basically, the person who owned me decided it would be a good idea to replace my eye with some thing he found..." Lui quietly said, hoping that what she was saying wasn't audible in other parts of the room. After all, the Myti and the Elf seemed trustworthy, they hadn't yet tried to tie her up when they had the opportunity so they were at least more trustworthy than most people she'd met. She wasn't very sure about the other people around though...

"...I'd take it out to show it to you but it really doesn't want to get out... Last time I tried all I did was get my hands and clothes covered in blood." Lui said, sighing.

"But, now that you've asked me a question I get to ask you one! What happened to your ear?" Lui blurts out, trying to change the subject before people with... bad intentions overheard the conversation.

@lozi

You can RP the barkeeper yourself, you know? But if you want me to RP him that's fine, just let me know.

@Seraphin

Looks good! Just don't forget to post in the Character Section as well before you start posting so it becomes easier for people to find it later on!

@lozi

Looks fine, though I request you put it in the CHAR/Characters section as well so it's easier to find later on

Alright. :)
Should I start my CS?

Go ahead! The sooner you start, the sooner you finish and the sooner you can start playing, right?

If you have any more questions, feel free to either ask them here or PM me

Yep!

Hmm. Then, maybe, put a difference in speed between the Horse Form and Humanoid Form? Horses can go so fast mainly because they have four legs, so perhaps the Humanoid Form would still be able to go fast, but not as fast as the Horse Form? Something like 15mph for Humanoid and 20mph for Horse?

Correct. Sorry for the misunderstanding ^o^''

Don't worry, my fault for misreading.

So if I'm understanding things correctly, your character would have two forms:
- Humanoid, which would be, as described earlier 'A Satyr but a Horse'
- Horse, which would be an actual horse

Right?

I was thinking that since he had the back half of a horse, it wouldn't be too far-fetched.

I can make a different species character, if that'd be easier

Ah, it appears I mistook what you were talking about then.

When you said
Could I have him be able to switch between humanoid and horse form?

I assumed that the Humanoid Form but be a regular human, but that is not what you intended, right?

@dartbored fairy
Ok. I'll bump it down to 20?

Thanks for filling me in!

Hmm... for horses, 20mph is reasonable, but the average speed for Humans caps at about 10-15 mph...

"Oh... People are jerks to almost everyone then, aren't they?" Lui says, sighing as she rests her head on the table.

She'd experienced firsthand how terrible humans can be, and had a general disliking for humans ever since. Fortunately, neither of the people she was sharing a table were human, so Lui was a little more confident about talking with them.

The Myti then asked a question that made Lui remember why she even came here in the first place! She'd already forgotten why she came here in the first place!

"Ah! I'm supposed to meet up with someone... I think. I kinda forgot the name of the town we arranged to meet in but I'm decently confident that it was a place called Nadska or something so I'm hoping I'm at the right place..." Lui says, glancing around. "And if I'm not... well then I'll just have another issue that I need to solve one way or another..."

Then, the Elf introduced himself. Herself? Lui honestly had no idea. Do elves even have genders, or was that just a weird human trait?

No, wait, other species have genders too. So maybe it is just elves that don't have genders?

"So... even Myti are jerks to other Myti? So it's not just humans who do things lik-" Lui starts, interrupted by a sudden loud noise that startles her, causing her to almost fall off of her chair.

"...sheesh. Noisy people. Is this normal for taverns?"
