It's rather unfortunate 'Gaming Journalism' won't at least clean up it's act, or even admit they screwed up. Cheers to yet another year of terrible journalism.
Bioware's consistent decline is a rather depressing thing to watch, or at least it is for me. When I was a kid, I used to spend hours saving the Galaxy on KOTOR, or restoring the balance between life and death in Jade Empire. Those two games, now that I think about it, were apart of the reason why I became a 'geek', 'nerd', or whichever term you deem is appropriate. But now whenever I play a new Bioware game, I usually don't get enthralled and feel as if the story is a bore.
I'm not kidding, sure when you're a kid you have pretty bad tastes. But at least KOTOR didn't have the infamous Star Brat and Villains ruled by troll logic, and don't even get me started on DAII and it's own plethora of problems. Including the recycled dungeons, the weird fan catering, and the character of Anders. God, how I hated that walking author tract.
I will still buy and play Dragon Age inquisition, just to watch the train crash and burn. Why do I believe it's going to fail? Well, the conclaves destruction which is supposed to be a dramatic cut scene leaving us in awe, has five NPC's all dying with the same animation. That's definitively not a good sign. But I've already gone off topic, and will stop here.
