Physical Appearance: Aura stands at 5'7 with sky blue eyes and blonde hair kept tied back in a bun. She is thin and athletic, skin tanned by the sun and flat chested. She has a very plain face with a thin, aquiline nose and a very petite jaw. She doesn't consist of much body fat on account of frequent workouts, but as of late she has slowly begun to fill back out to a more normal ratio.
Clothing: Often, Aura is clad in the uniform of the Ordo Sanctus, particularly her flight suit. Sewn to the left shoulder is an infantry badge, the only decoration on an otherwise sparse uniform. Off-duty, she dresses comfortably in short-sleeves and cargo shorts, usually forest green in coloration as that is her favorite color. 

Personality: Aura is calm and collected oftentimes, able to stay cool under fire. She is careful to take care of the men and women underneath her, and refuses to leave anyone behind. Out of combat she is usually relaxed, seeing social interactions as a walk in the park compared to battle. She laughs easily and often has a stream of bad jokes and puns to supply for the benefit of her fellows.

History: Aura was born in a town in Inops swept with frequent conflict, where corrupt local militia took their toll on the populace. From a young age, Aura learned to fight as she and other children fought amongst themselves for this and that reason, with conflict being the most common pass-time among the youths. Growing up, she held onto that mindset, learning to fight even as she learned to read, write, count, and do any number of other essentials. It was while she learned to fight, at the tender age of 17, that she happened upon the Ordo Sanctus. She came to adore them as they fought back against the corrupt militiamen and the distant, corrupt UNF, and by the time she was 18 she had run away to become a soldier.

However, she discovered that being a soldier of the OS wasn't the romantic dream she thought it was. It was hard and brutal, with every gunfight they got into risking the death of one of her comrades in arms. Aura spent six years in the OS infantry, fighting with a rifle and knife as needed. She got down and dirty more than once, and discovered that war isn't always a battle against corrupt tyranny. Often, its just scared boys and girls fighting with everything they had against other scared boys and girls. She grew to detest war, and indeed even her cause grew more detestable by the day.

However, she continued to fight because she still believed in it, the cause of ending the corruption in the UNF she heard so much about. She believed in her pride as a soldier, as one who doesn't give up no matter what the circumstances were. However, greater than all that, she believed that the day she stopped fighting, she had made the deaths of her comrades meaningless. Every man and woman she fought with, their sacrifices would mean nothing if she lay down and quietly slipped off the battlefront.

It was after these six years that the OS needed more Valkinai pilots, and Aura was selected to be one of them. In training, it was found she had a surprising level of aptitude for it. She learned fast, had good reflexes, unerring aim, and didn't underestimate any kind of combat situation in front of her. She proved the perfect adaptable pilot, and when she graduated she was on the front lines quick. She had an innate understanding of ground level tactics, based on her time spent as an infantrywoman, that made her able to counter them easily. As well, as a fast learner, she caught on to enemy weak points fast and was able to exploit them with ease. She racked up kill after kill, and was never a problem for her commanding officers. She was the perfect soldier and the perfect pilot, at least from a command perspective. The others in her squadron knew she often dwelled too long on failings, on dead men, even though they knew she didn't blame herself they knew her heart bled for them.

Regardless, she was deemed a high ranking combat asset and wound up with a command of her own. She never let her men take the field without her, but by necessity she couldn't hit the ground with every combat, only with decisive action. This changed her attitude from quiet and reflective to who she is today, careful and protective but easy going. She came to understand that death happens, that hanging up on it doesn't help. To this day, however, if one looks carefully they'll find a small notebook with her at all times, listing the name and number of every man or woman who has died under her command, and every soldier who died alongside her that she could recall.
