Welcome to my interest check!. As you can tell, I am new to the site, but I am most definitely not new to Roleplaying. I have been Roleplaying for nearly four years now. I would like to build immersive settings, and interesting plots with my Roleplay partners, so please help me to elaborate upon ideas, and create an equally enjoyable experience for both of us. Ultimately, I'm hoping to find about two literate female writers, (my grammar and spelling is often far from perfect, but please don’t make me have to decipher your posts.) Romance is a must for each of my plots - but it must be realistic romance, (no love at first sight) and it needs to be intertwined with a fancy plot. I am fine with all mature themes, and would like them included into our RP. (Gore, violence, sex, swearing, etc.)

My Hider

Three hundred millennia ago, two worlds were separated by a towering wall of black iron and stone. The one-half fortunate enough to exist on the interior side of the wall, belonging to the Linderian Empire, who erected the wall in the first place, have lived in a relative state of peace and prosperity. Only those who's forebearers built businesses and made names for their houses are allowed room to grow now, with the vast hordes of riches accumulated in the past. Electee's are nominated from wealthy families to serve in positions of authority and power while commoners die in complete obscurity, one member of a family after the next. To please the masses, they provide militaristic protection, provide them with enough wealth to sustain themselves and give them the illusion of electoral power. The kingdom expands behind itself, creating alliances and growing unchecked. But the wall, since it was constructed, they have refused to extend their borders for entirely unknown reasons.

It is apparent the Linderian Empire has thrived, though the land known extensively as Vyth (Or: Ravenous) it struggled so dearly to separated itself from, has thrived in vastly different ways. It is a cutthroat world, a place where wealthy criminals don't need to hide behind likable facades, crime is taken into the hands of every man, along with the ability to forge their own paths.

Our story takes place, when the fourth son/daughter of a commoner innkeeper, mistakenly finds out every single ebbstone (Currency inside the Linerian empire) that their parents, and grandparents have saved, are in fact going to help pay for the eldest child to attend university, and become a scholar. And the remainder of the scraps will be left to the last two, leaving this fourth son/daughter next to nothing. This is the only child who dreams of becoming something more, the only child that craves power and influence, and now in an already biased world, they will be left without the ability to do much else then inherit the little they will receive, so they are left with two choices; exist in a life meant for someone else, or give themselves to fate, and take the ultimate gamble one can make in such a time and age. And so, they choose to do something, beyond unheard of, they shall relinquish their citizenship in the empire, and cross the wall, in the pursuit of their dream.

Slavery is prominent in the empire, conquered kingdoms are ripe with slaves, the remnants of arcane magic they have been able to harness, has been poured into keeping the empire thriving with riches. Slavery is their main source of labor, they cannot afford runaways. Infused metal can be clamped around the neck of the slave, the magic infused within the metal, strengthens it, so it is nearly impossible to break, and ensures two things will not happen; the slave will not raise a hand against the master, if it does happen, the metal will expand, and the collar will tighten, nearly to the point of suffocation until said master commands the collar to stop. The second thing it prevents, is running away. The arcane magics caged within the metal, do not allow the slave to be more than fifty feet or so away from the master, if so, the same punishment will ensue, only if their master is not present, it will not kill them, just clamp down tight enough to nearly black them out. This has increased the wealth in nobles pockets exponentially.

The other character will be a slave known for his/her rebelliousness, they hide a dark past they had wished to remain secret, though after they are purchased for a cheap sum of money, by the fourth child of the innkeeper, forced to accompany them on their journey, they struggle to hide their past from their curious new master.
