Ash cringed as the princess quickly ate, rather, devoured the meal. Whether she was a princess or a cave woman was something that Ash didn't bother to know. Instead, he silently listened to her rants, all the while observing how quickly she sped through the food. Suddenly, Aninesse looked up to him, apparently asking for permission to now go play with the children. Ash was about to reply as one of the servants burst in and handed Aninesse an official looking note.

The princess took the note with her slender hands as Ash decided it was best to start the cleaning process. The princess began to read the note as Ash swiftly cleaned the table without delay. In a matter of minutes, he was back again beside Aninesse, waiting for her orders. Suddenly, the princess pouted... something she always does when pissed off. Aninesse turned to him, letting out her annoyance.

Ash listened silently as he looked up to her.

"Milady. Utter not such words of disdain against your guardians. They might still be doing something else for the kingdom." Ash smiled while replying. Suddenly, his eyes turned grim as he remembered his past. "Indeed. It was them who ordered the assassination. I was--- I mean, they decided quite rashly." Ash continued as he looked at the princess. "However, milady, think not of yourself as a lamb, but rather, Gabriel's hope for peace. You are far too graceful and beautiful to be just a messenger, you are Gabriel's hope. Your guardians were foolish in making their decisions, and the only right decision they made was to take care of you. Straighten the mistakes that your parents did... Not only for Gabriel, but for yourself. In the event that you build a family, then at least, they will live in a world where there is no fear or hatred." Ash chuckled as he tightened the bandages on his face.

"Besides, a suitor might pursue your beauty around the kingdom. By attending this treaty, you have a reason not to meet them. Wouldn't you like that, milady?" Ash let out a small laughter, knowing the princess' disdain for the opposite gender. "Worry not, I will send the best of guards to accompany you."
Zed listened to the conversation between Eclipse and Thunder. Inside, he was thinking of a way to take on those two dangerous opponents. Truly, Zed was similar to Thunder in history. They had already crossed the line between villain and hero. In fact, many would already consider him a villain... perhaps even Niesha... he just didn't tell her yet. The lad looked to the sky as he brought the bullet near his nose and giving it a deep inhale.

A surge of different aromas filled his nose as he picked one out... that dark and bloody scent. The murderer.

"I got his scent. It's faint, but I got it." Zed smiled as his wings opened, sending him to the sky. "They're near. We're in luck, they're probably in district 1 as well." Zed informed them as he took off heading towards District 1 while following the scent. "Prepare yourselves... It won't be just a walk in the park. Although I wish it was." Zed said with a grim tone as his eyes stayed straight, expecting the inevitable battle to come.
Ash smiled beneath his grim visage. This princess was truly something else. The servant approached the table as he set down the tray of food down. Ash's eyes wandered over to the princess' figure as he contemplated the past. He had only seen the princess thrice in his entire life; first, when he was still serving the army, second, when he returned from Michael, and third, now.

Ash didn't expect the young and carefree princess to grow up like this: Hating men as if they were trash.

"Milady. I understand that I was just recently promoted to the post of your personal servant, but, sooner or later, you're gonna have to find someone to share your life with." Ash chuckled as he arranged Ani's bed. "Indeed. The children are very fond of you, milady. However, I'm afraid they're quite scared of me for some obvious reasons. So I'd suggest one of your nicer looking servants would go with you." Ash replied, dusting the bed with his bandaged hand.

Ash breathed a sigh of relief as he finished fixing Ani's room. Every morning he would always do this without fail or without question, and of course, swiftly and hastily. Observing the princess, who was wearing a flowing white gown, again. Ash observed how active the princess was when reflecting about her desire to avoid men. Ash didn't know what had happened with the princess but he was quite sure that her step-parents had something to do with it.

Ash went over to the tray of food as he set it down on a small round table where he prepared the food and plates. Looking over to Ani, Ash called out to the princess to eat.

"Milady. It is time for your meal. The children wouldn't like it if their favored princess was weaker than a twig." Ash smiled as he held out a small porcelain kettle. Ash poured the tea in a porcelain glass as he took a slice of the cake and placed it in a small plate. Everything was ready, finally. Ash took a step back as he gestured for the princess to sit.

"Breakfast is served, milady." Ash bowed as he waited on Ani, as he did everyday ever since he received news of his new challenge to serve Gabriel's bloodline.
will be posting tonight :D
Cold. Freezing. Arctic. Frozen. Chilling

Those were the words that could be used to describe Ash's room. The dark sky loomed over the horizon as the servant's eyes opened, revealing icy blue eyes that marked his curse. Ash sat up in his frost covered bed, the ceilings layered with sheets of ice, the floor slippery with crystalline coldness. The lad slowly got up as he yawned, releasing a cloud of frost from his mouth much to his chagrin. Ash stood up, his bandages tangled and crumpled from the nightmare he had. The lad waved his hand in the air as all the frost and ice lifted from the ground and surged to his palm, leaving the place dry and clean. In a flash, Ash covered his right palm with his left palm, and upon opening it, an ice figurine of an angel appeared.

Ash smirked at the irony. He had created an angel when he was actually cursed by a demon. A fact that he never wished to be discovered. Only just recently, Ash had been promoted to become the personal servant of the princess of Gabriel... a snotty brat she was who dropped all the suitors as if they're scalding. However, Ash liked that quality of hers. She knew what she wanted... She knew that she had a choice.

Ash smiled at these thoughts as he placed the ice figurine on his desk... not that it was going to melt anytime soon... with all that ice compressed into a tiny object.. it would take days or even weeks for it to melt partially.

Ash took off his bandages slowly, one by one. The lad's eyes met the mirror's... The scars were plainly visible all over his body... torso, arms, limbs... lower face. Ash shuddered at the sudden onslaught of memories as he shook all of these off and went to the bathroom to clean himself. He was careful not to let his powers slip while in the tub of water... he didn't want himself to be trapped in a block of ice. Not again.

Ash rose from the water as he wiped himself dry. Slowly, he applied a new set of white gauze, covering his scars again. As he was finished mummifying himself, Ash put on a black servant suit... It was almost time to serve his majesty. By this time, Ash was ready. Mummified, suited, and hair kept a bit rowdy. Just the way he liked it.

Ash opened the door to his quarters, carefully looking both ways to make sure that none would know his secret. As soon as the coast was clear, Ash jogged towards the kitchen, preparing princess Aninesse's breakfast. That royal must be famished by now. As soon as he got the meal, Ash added some tea and cake... and as always, he sprinted up the stairs towards the quarters of the princess. As he reached the door, Ash was confused whether to knock or not... he'd probably disturb her sleep.

Well, it was better for the princess to be disturbed than to have an empty stomach, Ash decided. His wrapped hand knocked softly on the door as his gentle voice called out.

"Milady. Pardon me for interrupting your rest, but I would just like to bring in your breakfast." Ash smiled as his hand was preparing to push the door once Aninesse would give her approval.
"Hey there, Solar Eclipse." Zed smiled as he nodded to Niesha. "Well for secrecy purposes, let's just address ourselves as our aliases. Eclipse, this is Golden Thunder. I think I'll just go with what people used to call me... Predator." Zed chuckled, his wings resting at the moment. "Heading towards the same direction, Eclipse? I'm going to District 1 to search for more allies." Zed informed her as he turned to Golden Thunder. "Thunder. Our possible enemies include a woman who has the ability to make near-perfect illusions. As if that wasn't annoying enough, she can also release psychic waves which can cause tons of damage. Next is a male in a suit of armor. His weapons are S-class, and he has a deadly aim. In addition, he's also quite resilient to damage." Zed informed Jason about their foes in order to prepare the lad.

Zed flapped his wings as he hovered on the ground.

"District 1 will be filled with people. You two might blend in, but I am an exception. I might draw attention to myself." Zed spoke, his eyes fixed on the direction of the District 1. "Keep an eye out for any threats. I might have lost their scent now... but I think I can still track them down." Zed smiled as he pulled out from his bandages a sharp bullet, stained with blood.

"I can track that guy using the bullet he gave me... It's going to be a faint scent since my blood will have changed it. But it's better than nothing. Shall we?" Zed motioned for them to follow him as he took off towards District 1... an ominous feeling inside that something bad is about to happen.
Sorry for the delay... will be fixing up a post tonight.
Fudge cakes :)) I only saw the post at the old OOC just now XD Dang me and my lurking skills. Anyway, transferring my CS. I shall be working up a post tomorrow :)) I promiseeeeeee
Zed's wings covered his eyes as a flash of golden thunder jolted from the sky and struck the person he was talking to. As the light cleared out, his wings folded back as in front of him was not a shining hero, but a normal kid... probably younger than him. "Hence the name I see." Zed chuckled as he nodded to Jason.

Jason told him of his story... a story of sadness. His loved one was killed by some thugs which explains his unnatural brutality with these types of criminals. His chaotic demeanor wasn't only attributed to his loved one, no, it was also affected by a hero. Zed fully understood the heroine who chose to focus her attention on the burning building than to them... although, a true hero could multitask... It was a weight of a hundred lives versus a single one. However, Zed was also sympathetic of Jason... He fully understood the pain he must have felt during that time.

"Jason. Nice name." Zed smiled, repeating Jason's name, "I am Zed. Street Cleaner." the lad chuckled as he shook Jason's hand with his bandage-wrapped one. "Since you have told me your secret... I would like to tell you a little bit of mine... to show you that I understand your pain." Zed's soft voice turned a bit deeper, his mutation was building up some rage.

"Before I was like this... I was actually... like every normal human out there. My parents left me at a young age due to me being born out of a crazy night at a bar, and an accident in the backseat. I needed to survive... working where it was possible until I came to a Toxic Factory. Yes, I was named as Best Employee there. However, as you succeed..." Zed glared at Jason, taking Jason's experience with similarity to his. "Many begin to hate you. My co-workers tossed me into a vat of animal DNA waste. Well, things turned awry after that. They fired me... they left me.. Heck, even the orphanage sent me away." Zed continued, tears building up in one of his eyes. "It was one that fateful day that I regretted so much... The Predator within had awakened."

Zed decided that to tell the full details of that day would set back Jason's trust with him... He just needed to get to the end.

"Long story short. Many people were buried that day, including my first love." Zed sighed. "But you know what's more painful? Knowing your hand was the one who stained them. That's why in that place, children developed a nursery rhyme about a kid who was too angry that he became a monster. That rhyme didn't describe a normal kid, no. It was describing... they called me, the Predator." Zed let out a really deep sigh and groan of remorse. Suddenly, Zed wiped the tears from his eyes as he sighed.

"However, that was just the past. I know I cannot bring back the dead, but by stopping these villains... I can prevent it from happening again to a larger population." Zed smiled as he lifted into the air. "Come, we've got an ally to meet."

Zed flew into the air, tracking Niesha's scent who was near in the vicinity. He was now approaching Niesha, finally, he had found an ally. They had a fighting chance.
Zed nodded as he listened closely to the Golden Thunder, blah blah blah.

"Indeed. Men like these are not fit to be called as human beings, even trash. They are lower than that." Zed replied as he edged closer, his eyes examined the fried corpses. "I had my share of such massacre. To purge the world of these tyrants, yes." Zed mumbled, poking his foot on one of the corpse's face. "Yet... how different are we to these trash if we stoop down to their level and let our rage do the talking? To take their life would often be inevitable, but, to overdo it would mean that their existence actually unnerved us to the point that we take the punishment to the extreme." Zed looked up to the kid.

"Justice? That's a pretty word. If we purge the unjust in this manner, the people would not know peace but fear. You saw how the woman fled in terror even if she knew you saved her from being violated." Zed continued. "There is a difference in maintaining order between willingness and fear... being willing or loyal is the easier part... because the people know that you are just... However, if you show them such extreme brutality, they do not see your justice... they see fear, and a future hand that will dominate them. This nation does not need anymore fear than it already has..." Zed sighed as he flapped his wings, making him hover on the ground.

"You have a heart of a hero... You are just one of those chaotic types. I, myself, am just a neutral being... However, if you truly wish to purge this nation of the sickness of death and injustice... then, there's a pair of villains who are planning to unleash a terror which is unknown to most, if not all." Zed proposed to Golden Thunder. "You are not my enemy."

"Often chaotic types originate from a tragedy that happened in their lives... Mine was tragic, however, I did my best to ascend from despair... To grow beyond hate.. for hate consumes a person." Zed shivered, remembering his demon. "What separates us from animals is our will to be able to choose when and when not to take a life... and most importantly, when to value one." Zed smiled.

"So... would you like to help a mutant save a nation who hates him?"
