While most of his housemates are invested in personal gain, he finds that there is rich enjoyment in simpler things. That's not to say he's not just as competitive as his brethren, however, until he is openly challenged, he will be passive and enjoy observing rather than participating.

Constantly runs his hand through his hair when he's pleased.
Swallows before speaking when nervous or afraid.
Looks down as his feet and then looks up at people when he's nervous and hopeful.

Basic Personality:
Edwin is a kind and gentle soul, however if put under pressure, he's as tough as steel. He prefers to laugh and enjoy the moment, unconcerned with the problems of the future. He'll be friends with anyone, and will make sure not to cross any lines that would put a person into genuine hurt. People's opinions of him or his friends are insignificant to him.

History:

Birthday:
January 29th, 2004

Birthplace:
Chicago, U.S.A.

Birth Parents:
Father - Julius Boreaux
Mother - Clarissa Boreaux

Brief History:
Edwin Boreaux grew up with his narrow-minded parents as one of three siblings. Each of his siblings, Eleanor and Killion, passed through Hogwarts and graduated ahead of Edwin. Strangely enough, Edwin was the only one to pass into Slytherin. Eleanor was a Hufflepuff and Killion a Ravenclaw. As the son of two influential wizards, much was expected of Edwin. He excelled at his studies and classes, displaying a penchant for dueling and combat spells, however his parents saw him as a failure in his personal life. He sought out relationships with other houses and younger students, shielding them from some of the hazing that other Slytherin students inflicted upon them.
Growing up in the Boreaux household was trying for Edwin. Unfortunately, his parents were incredibly similar to that of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. They taught him to be the superior wizard wherever he went, that he was the above "mud-bloods" and other houses. Power and influence were to be prioritized above everything else. For the large portion of his life, Edwin was exactly what his parents raised him to be. He was cruel and prideful; he was a snake.
However, once he began his studies at Hogwarts, things changed. Through a combination of benevolent teachers, bold friends, and a Muggle-born Hufflepuff with a particular talent for dueling, many of Edwin's childhood beliefs were radicalized. By the start of his third year, he was actively working to change who he was as a person. Now, in his seventh year at Hogwarts, he's a completely different person. His parents disagree with many of his beliefs, however Edwin is not one to easily be persuaded.

Sample of Writing
This will be a story of Christmas with Edwin's family during his 5th year. I really don't expect you to read all of this, I kind of got carried away while I was writing it. Sorry about that!

The crisp air bit into the young Slytherin's skin, numbing the tips of his ears and freezing the small amount of moisture on his lips. Cold air expelled from Edwin's lungs turned into a cool mist as it swirled into the empty space in front of the wizard.

Edwin stood upon the balcony of his family's expansive home, gazing across vast chasm that bordered the building. The house sat upon the edge of a cliff that dropped away into a vast canyon. The morning fog shielded the floor of the chasm beneath Edwin, however he knew from memory that a river covered the entirety of the rock beneath him. The canyon walls were comprised of grey rock that extended deep into the earth, entering the lackadaisical water after about two hundred feet. Despite being so high above the water, Edwin could still hear the sounds of the ice settling as it echoing upwards into his ears. The opposite side of the ravine could be seen a few hundred feet away from Edwin, however it was merely a hazy outline in the mist.

A single, clear tone rung throughout the canyon as a wizard within the house cast a spell to summon Edwin. Heaving a great sigh, the young wizard stepped back from the edge of the balcony and turned on his heel, pushing open the doors that led inside. Making his way through the halls quickly, Edwin traveled through the mansion to the hearthroom where his entire family sat.

His father and mother both reclined upon lavish seats by the roaring fire, their posture rigid as they observed him enter the room. Killion stood by the hearth, gazing into the magically sustained flames with a shadowy expression resting upon his face, no doubt dreading the conversation to come.

Eleanor lounged gracefully across couch that faced adjacent to the seats her parents occupied. Her raven hair fell over the arm of the couch and her right leg was propped up on the back. She craned her neck to make eye contact with Edwin as he entered the room; her smile masked a stark sadness within her.

Edwin jumped over the back of the couch, landed by Eleanor's feet. Ignoring the disapproving glance from his mother, he focused on his sister's face. "You look beautiful, Eleanor. That scarf really suits you."

For a moment, a look of genuine pleasure crossed her face, however it was removed when their father spoke. "We need to talk, Edwin." Attempting to retain complete composure, he turned to face his father, correcting his posture and placing his folded hands in his lap.

"What is it we need to discuss, father?" Edwin was completely aware of what it was his parents wished to discuss, however he didn't want to appear as insubordinate by jumping to the topic at hand.

Clearing her throat, Clarissa cast a glance at her husband before speaking. "When your sister was first preparing to graduate from Hogwarts, she was searching for opportunities for her to apply her talents in the real world." Eleanor looked over at her brother with a pained smile, placing her hand on his knee. "She found a job researching Herbology for the Ministry of Magic. Killion went through a similar process, eventually becoming an assistant to a wand maker. Your father and I would like to-"

She was cut short as Killion turned from the fireplace and spoke with anger in his voice. "They think you've become complacent and are thoroughly disappointed with your actions and they fear you'll never amount to anything more than a security guard for the Ministry." He spoke with spite and venom in his voice, his face contorted with anger.

"Hold your tongue, Killion!" Julius hissed, glaring at his eldest son. "You would be wise to consider your next actions extremely carefully, child."

Killion let loose a mirthless laugh. "Why bother mixing in sugar with the venom when it will kill you anyways? It's what we're all thinking!"

Eleanor sat up, speaking with a voice of command. "Killion, your anger is misdirected and assists no one. It would be-"

"Please, sister dearest, tell me what would be the 'wise' choice for me here, seeing as you always know what's best!" His voice dropped multiple octaves as he allowed his anger to fully consume his voice.

"Perhaps she's aware of what's best because she possesses the intelligence you lack, Killion." Edwin's voice possessed a calm, controlled tone, not betraying the anger and panic he felt inside.

Killion opened his mouth to reply, however before he could, the hearth's fire extinguished itself and the sunlight filtering into the room vanished. The temperature dropped to a degree colder than the frosty temperature outside. A voice as cold and hard as ice echoed throughout the room, drawing everyone's attention.

"Each and every one of you will remember your place in this family." All eyes turned to Edwin's mother in her chair. Her posture was perfect, her head held high with a gaze of harsh power. In her right hand, the tip of her wand glowed softly, sustaining the spell.

The very air in the room felt like it was sucked out as the entire family fell silent, none willing to challenge Clarissa's influence. After an indiscernible amount of time passed, she relaxed her hand, allowing the magic to die out. The hearth slowly refueled itself, however the fire was weaker than before. The sunlight that shined into the room seemed muted and dull. The entire family was still and silent, unwilling to break the eerie silence.

The sat like this for quiet a while, each of them considering how to react to their mother's display of power. While the spell itself wasn't that impressive by itself, most likely a hex each member of the family could replicate, the fact that Clarissa has become enraged enough to use magic to make her children heed her was one that no one could ignore. Clarissa was undoubtedly the most level-headed family member, and when she became angry, everyone immediately restrained themselves.

After a few minutes, Edwin swallowed and then spoke. "Your concerns are most certainly heard, Mother and Father, and I will endeavor to remedy this situation over the course of my final years at Hogwarts. I appreciate your concern for my welfare." With that, he rose from his seat and immediately left the room, careful not to rush. He was glad to be away from his family for a short time, however that would soon end.
@Queensch This definitely looks interesting! I'll try to submit a CS tonight, but I'm a bit sleepy so I might put it in tomorrow!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Yeah, four people could totally work.
Aight people I don't know about you but when momma told me that patience was a virtue, I responded with, "Guess I'm gonna live a virtueless life then."
How we gonna get a fifth person?
Maybe you should wait for him to evolve first so he can defend his tasty pet XD

@DuthGuy @Heyitsjiwon @Jangel13

Skubli warily approached the Rabbit's corpse as he eyed the new goblin. After a few moments of distrustful analysis, he turned his focus to the Horned Rabbit. He began poking and prodding the creature, searching for the best part to start skinning. Eventually, he gave up at finding a good location and tore into the Rabbit's throat.

The blood and still warm flesh felt both revolting and natural in the runt's hands, giving him an odd feeling within his stomach.

"Did Grandpa give you name?" Skubli asked quietly, eyeing the third goblin out of the corner of his eye. The blood slowly spilled across his hands, providing an odd feeling of liquid warmth. Continuing to prod the dead body, he ripped apart pieces of the flesh, careful to avoid severing the big muscles, and managed to pull off a nicely sized portion of hide from the rabbit's flank to cover Stegs wound.
@Wasted Ink

Xaal should get a horned rabbit as a pet.

DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS.

That would actually be a hilarious turn
@Heyitsjiwon You wanna go ahead and post before Skubli and Stegs do anything or do you just want us to start doing stuff? I'm cool with either.

@Leechee Alrighty, here's my CS! As for the theme of her powers, I'm really down with whatever. Just make it spicy! :P
