Ok so... How should I get Marry over to that kindergarten mess? Looks like there needs to be some rebellion spokesperson over there.

Well Cavan is probably going to use a pad to get over there. We should probably have the Rebellion gems get there before Homeworld just walks off with all of the Newborns.

@Akayaofthemoon Please, don't take this as any kind of pressure I'm putting on you, I know you're under a lot of stress and you should take as much time as you need. We COMPLETELY understand.
That being said, do you have any current plans for Aquamarine? Again, absolutely no rush, I'm just curious.
Sebastian

Location: Sky Lakes Medical Center
Interacting with: Xerxes Arvanitis @YoshiSkittlez, Quinton Matson, Cassandra Arvanitis, Connor Vos and Cody Treadwell , Magnus Bane, Gage Brooks and Aron Brooks @BlackPanther, Connor @Caits, Miranda Burke @Damo021, @vicier Syeste (Vos) Nioré Zoe Flores and Kaylee Evans

Zoé's explanation aligned perfectly with the fact that Sebastian already knew, and filled in a lot of the blank spaces. The identity of the enemy Alpha still remained unknown to Sebastian, however he suspected Zoé knew who it was. As the woman continued along with her speech, Sebastian slowly forced himself to relax, standing behind Xerxes and Cassie to remain near Syleste and out of sight.

Sebastian wasn't entirely sure why, but an irresistible urge to protect Syleste had overcome him. Maybe it was because she was the only non-were, or perhaps that she was a Siren like him. Maybe her vulnerability with her blindness drew him to shield her, but the reason didn't matter. If he needed to, he would fight each were in that room to get her to safety.

As Zoé began to finish her speech, she made a gesture that made Sebastian's heart drop into his stomach.

“All but two of you are healed, aren’t you..? No pain… no injuries… and you know deep down, that you feel better than you ever have before in your entire lives… A wolf attack doesn’t leave you like that. It leaves you like this.” The Alpha motioned to the two Sirens, immediately and effectively alienating them as the odd ones out. Any hope of his identity remaining a mystery vanished the moment she pointed to them.

Sebastian's entire body tensed as he fought to keep the growing scream within his throat down. Every fiber in his body, every neuron in his brain, screamed RUN.

But no one moved on them; no one really even gave them more than a glance. They were all too preoccupied with their transformations and Zoé's commanding address to worry about the Sirens.

Gage moved across the room towards Xerxes and Syleste, gently taking her out of the doctor's arms. "I'm sorry about... me." Gage spoke softly, shaking his head. Sebastian took an instinctive step forward as Syleste was taken away, however a glance from Gage reminded him of his place. The Siren lowered his eyes to the ground and moved backwards, pressing his back against the bed behind him.

"Gage... Gage, don't run." Aron's warning was ignored as Gage attempted to leave, however Quinton's presence immediately shut down any hopes Sebastian had of being able to walk out of the hospital room.

Panic once again overtook Sebastian as he forced himself not to let loose a scream that would burst eardrums. Calm down! Pissing them off will only end up getting you killed! Fight it. Breathe. Be serene.

"Klamath Falls has always drawn the supernatural to it; species of all kinds. What Zoé is telling you is the truth. That was no ordinary wolf that attacked you all, but a Werewolf. Zoé is the alpha of her pack. By bringing you all here, she has claimed you all as her own, despite another being the one to turn you... and..." Xerxes voice commanded attention as he spoke to the pack, instructing them. As he spoke, Xerxes slowly began to undress, which unnerved Sebastian slightly. Any time he had seen a fully turned were, which had only been a couple of times in his life, clothing had been markedly scarce.

"I love you, Cassie. And I'll always protect you... Forgive me." The wings that sprouted from Xerxes' back took the Siren completely by surprise, causing him to release an audible gasp as the glorious wings flew into their position laying flat across the Angel's back.

"You used to call me your guardian angel when you were little... I've wanted to tell you a thousand times as to how right you were..."

Cassie's reaction was tame, considering the given circumstances.

"Then why didn't you?" Cassie's voice was full of emotion, which pulled at Sebastian's heartstrings. Cassie was always sweet and soft, and it killed him to see her suffer. "But...you're wrong, Dad. Zoe can't claim us...we have to claim her"

Cassie's words commanded attention as she stepped towards the Alpha."My name is Cassandra Arvantis. And I am a werewolf. And you...are my Alpha"

Sebastian watched in awe as Conner followed suit and pledged himself and Kaylee. Aron wasn't far behind, also giving his allegiance to Zoé.

Questions swam through Sebastian's head, mostly consisting of the confusion of the pack bonding he was witnessing, which he was pretty certain was quite unorthodox, and his place in it all. The fear of ending up just like his mother, dead at the claws of a Werewolf, filled him with uncertainty and dread, however he wasn't going to take it lying down, bleeding out in the middle of a hospital with no help.

Swallowing hard, Sebastian limped forward past Cassie and Xerxes towards Zoé. Syleste's presence was still acutely clear in the Siren's mind, however he had abandoned his unreasonable hope of fighting past the Alpha.

"I'm not a Werewolf," He began shakily, swallowing again before continuing. "I... S-Sirens have no place in a pack. I don't belong here. We don't belong here."

Sebastian forced himself to meet Zoé's eyes, staring into the crimson depths as panic began to rise in his throat again. The terror of facing an Alpha was clearly evident on his face, however he stood as tall as his broken form would allow him to. "What do you want us to do?"
Ah, lots of posts to read! I'll have one up tonight, might be a few hours though.
I keep wanting to post but honestly I have no idea what's going on (and by that, I mean how to interact with the current happenings). Not that Skubli would even be in the center of the action anyways. I guess writing a quiet character leads to less interaction. Just waiting for an opportunity that wouldn't completely defy Skubli's character.
• Grayson Donovan •

Grayson's astral form drifted vaguely through the battlefield, shocked by the violence. Bodies lay on the ground, unmoving; Gray was uncertain if they were alive or dead. After a brief moment, a familiar voice shook him out of his stupor.

"Grayson, I need your help. We gotta make sure everyone got out. The rest of you if you can safely go inside then come on. If not cover us." Jake's voice was strong and prominent, commanding Gray's attention. The Astral immediately focused and honed into the current situation, nodding his head.

"I can't stay outside of my body for much longer, I'm going to suffocate." Grayson growled in frustration at the limits of his powers and bolted away, flying straight through a hill and emerging from the ground to remeld with his body. Pain shot through his lungs as the smoke invaded his lungs, choking him. The fire had reached within a few feet of him, spurring the man into action.

A coughing spasm overwhelmed Gray as he turned on his side, wheezing heavily. He struggled to his feet and half walked, half crawled to higher ground, collapsing for a moment to rest. After about a minute, he looked up to see the silhouette of a man standing over him, wielding some form of blunt weapon.

The man swung down with harsh force, narrowly missing as Gray rolled to the side, tumbling down the steep side of the hill and into a small ditch with dense shrubbery. The unknown assailant pursued him, sprinting down the hill towards Gray.

By the time the attacker had reached Gray, he had gotten to his feet, easily stepping under the barbarian's swing and catching him by the leg. Grayson's right arm when between his legs and his left arm wrapped around it, hoisting the man over his shoulders in a single motion. The club flew away from the pair as Grayson whirled around and stomped at the man, attempting to immobilize him. The assailant caught Gray's leg and dragged him towards him, easily flipping him on his back.

Grayson was by no means a light man, however the hulk of a man he faced threw him around like a rag doll. The wind exited his lungs as the man slammed him onto the ground, pulling out a knife and descending on his prey. In a moment of desperation, Gray kicked upwards, catching the knife with his right calf and sending a purple energy wave outwards, knocking the man airborne and across the shrubbery.

Gray's attacker hit the ground with an audible, sickening crunch, remaining motionless on the ground. Gray struggled to breathe as he winced in pain, glancing down at the gash wound across his lower leg. The thought that he had possibly killed a man didn't even cross his mind as he struggled away from the shrubbery, climbing the hill to escape the scene.

A few of the bunkermates found Gray struggling up the hill and came to his aid, helping him to his feet and pushing themselves to carry the man. Grayson thanked them and collapsed to the ground, looking at them with stern seriousness. "Don't ask why, but protect my body. Don't let anyone harm it." They exchanged a look of confusion, however Gray ignored them, rolling his eyes into the back of his head and allowing his Astral form to leave his body.

Gray plunged through the earth and into the bunker, searching for other people in the fiery rooms. As he searched, the purple energy he had produced to harm his assailant repeatedly ran through his mind, thrilling his with the thought that he had more powers.
Anyone here good at map making? They could collab with the GM's so we could all figure it out.
@Wick I'm still here!
Cavan

A cool breeze blew gently through Cavan's light blue hair, ruffling his bangs and pushing them over to the side of his head. The gem took a deep breath and exhaled gently, basking in the sweet waves of emotions. The empathic abilities of the Cavansite gem allowed him to lose himself in the various emotions of the people inhabiting the town near the temple.

He sat upon one of the hands of the temple's goddess form, peacefully basking in the waves of feelings that emanated from the town. Normally. he wouldn't have been able to so easily distinguish the multiple sentiments, however the large population allowed Cavan to pick up on them from a greater distance.

The blue gem meditated often in the quiet sea of emotions that the humans emitted. Nothing pleased him more than the exercise of freewill, free from parasites to control people. There were the few that let other people control them, however Cavan refused to intervene. He was a gem. They were humans. He had no business interfering with their affairs that he only knew about through what they considered, "unnatural powers."

A piercing wave of rage, confusion, and sadness suddenly overtook Cavan, causing his eyes to snap open as he jumped to his feet, gazing in the direction of the town. The power and intensity of the outburst screamed in Cavan's mind before vanishing as quickly as it had appeared.

"That... Wasn't human." Cavan muttered to himself. The raw power was typical of a human enduring a great grief, however the feel of the anger was distinctly gem. And it wasn't any of the remaining Rebellion gems that had caused the outburst. He knew their emotional signatures too well.

"The Kindergarten!" Cavan sprang forward onto the warp pad, beaming himself inside the temple instantaneously. Aquamarine! Vert! Marry! Sodalite!"

Cavan's voice projected through the entire temple, echoing through the halls and into every room the structure contained. He jogged around the main part of the temple, banging on the doors of each gem's room. "There's a new gem and she is not happy!"
@Akayaofthemoon So will there be an odd dynamic between the Rebellion and Homeworld gems as they both try to persuade the Newborns to join them? As in Bloodstone and his crew are going to stick around?
@Kronshi@Akayaofthemoon Hey, quick question: So at the moment Commander Bloodstone is in control of the ship that is abducting the newborns and giving them a home until Homeworld finds a use for them, right? If so, what happens to the Newborns? Are the Rebellion Gems going to fight for them?
