Bio

My alternate account. I.E. I am ZAVAZggg and ZAVAZggg is me. Not to sock-puppet or some shit, just so I can actually have interaction between two characters in a way that fits Myriad Reality's posting style.

*Snorts*
Eager to watch me take a beating again.

*Cocks an eyebrow*

Does her magic lack potency? I would think a caster who can create a spell for traveling between worlds could also muster a greater defense.

I hope we get to fight some kind of monster!

Eager for a fight I take it?

And probably a straightjacket.

Have fun putting a Captain America level guy in a straightjacket.

They just have such short lives.

They do. Anyway, enough about my world. We have this one before us to explore do we not?

*Trudges off over a small hill*

Come along! Let's go see what's out there!
Especially since the Outside drives even the strongest willed mad.

Although should Nemid succeed and some new Existence be made following his war, then I could see this character resurrecting in it. You might want to send a telepath to give him a mental checkup though.
Thinking on it though, the second idea and its expansion where he just doesn't stay dead might be better, although him siding with Nemid would either leave him in Brinkspace, trapped in Existence, or repeatedly resurrecting in the Outside itself. The last of which is quite hellish.

In the same sense as a golem or something similar?

Indeed. A pawn playing its part in a much greater game.
From the perspective of what would actually happen, my intuition is that on the scale of Existence, total absorption would also include the absorption of spacetime, which wouldn’t leave much to go back to. On the other hand, assuming that is what would happen, he doesn’t have to know that.

But I wonder if absorbing spacetime means absorbing all of it or just what fabric of it exists at the current moment, although I suppose that's more of a meta-time type thing.

Sounds kind of like a dystopia to me.

*Shrugs*

Perhaps. Although Thivlir would disagree. Then again, they never did see mortals as "real". They were more like constructs in xe's eyes.
Otherwise I do have another idea for a power for the character, but in that interpretation he'd probably be harder to convince since he'll actually have something to lose. The power in this instance is just like, battle precognition and nothing more than that really, beyond like Captain America level physical capabilities.

Expanding on this idea, I might do something with infinite resurrection, a concentration based precognition, a form of battle precognition, and superhuman physiology.
