Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

Alright, so I did write up a bit regarding undead servants and how you can kill them. It's in my CS currently, but I'd like some feedback on it here before I post anything just to avoid stepping on anyone's toes.
It's technically a 4 AM magic system, but basically they use their own souls until lichdom, in which case they are technically remotely piloting their corpse that uses life energy essence shit it absorbs at very small increments ambiently. Unless they go the soul steal route.

Additionally, I'd limit it to they can't cast magic in general without mana. Now as to how strong a guardian is... honestly that was something I hadn't considered. I would say maybe that unless you undo the ritual binding a corpse to its owners will, then that's how you remove it entirely aside from just destroying it? I'm open to suggestions and changes though, since I did think of this at like, 4 in the morning a month or so back.

@Mae
@ZAVAZggg i'm planning to keep the rp quite loose overall and I don't want to push everyone into their magic working a particular way. But i'd be curious to hear your system, would you be happy if it applied to Promien's path of necromancy and people who wish to opt into that kind of magic?

Alright, so this I thought up and explained to two other guys on Discord, let me go grab it real quick.
@Kenshi@ZAVAZggg Alright so the fundamentals of RTD is that it isn't D&D, @Mae decides how it works or we go off the general idea how that magic works. There are no spell lists unless she says otherwise.

I'm not talking about spells, I'm talking about how magic conceptually functions. Where it comes from, how magical energies if there are any, are expended and regained, etc. My version of necromancy essentially functions off the idea that the practitioner imbues part of their own soul into their creations, and thus lose that essence permanently.
time fuckery is great when there's a chance of rolling badly

Looking forward to seeing Promien the Rotting, slapstick characters are not necessary though I apologise in advance if the system dissolves into chaos and anarchy :P

Another question though, if you don't mind. Can we specify how our magic works? Because I already have a way in mind for Necromancy as it relates to regular magic, though I might just nix the relation since it kind of forces normal magic to operate one way, and keep the necromancy functionality instead.

You could do it, I've seen the way you write, I wouldn't be surprised if your an author irl.

I'm not, and I won't because I'm already doing Necromancy.

Ooh no, Chronomancer are time traveling wizards...

I expect anyone who does Chronomancy know how to write well. Time fuckery goes smoother if it isn't in the hands of a powergamer.
@ZAVAZggg anything that doesn't break the rules of the guild

why am I already filled with a sinking feeling of regret

Well the regret comes from the stupidity people are doubtless about to unleash. In my case however, I think I'll bring Promien the Rotting into this. He won't exactly be the most slapstick character though.
Color me interested, but what kinds of magic can we use exactly?
