Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

I could work more on the myth section, but until the motivation to write a whole ass story strikes, this is what you get.

Conversely, perhaps a god of contracts might also work, given how everything has a soul. Perhaps one could be allowed to manipulate the sea or elements to a degree and in the circumstances stated within a divine contract. The breakage of which would have severe consequences.

As an example of the contractual domain, which doesn't account for gods or a wide variety of other things such as magic, since I am keeping it limited to power over the natural world for the time being.

Contracts: The domain of Memteus is that of contracts, that is a formal agreement made between two parties and sealed via a binding reagent overseen by an impartial third-party, usually Memteus himself. This is typically blood in the case of most mortals, although depending on what the mortal is making a contract with, further action may be required. Examples include allowing one's flesh to be burned as part of an agreement to have limited control over the element of fire, spilling a drop of blood in a basin of water in order to call upon the power of the sea, and so on. These deals, like all contractual agreements between two beings, come with their own sets of consequences should the supplicating party renege, break, or commit some act that doesn't fall within the purview of the contract itself. At the most basic of levels, the supplicant themselves may be afflicted with some manner of curse or outright killed, though in certain circumstances those close to the supplicant may be harmed or killed and the deal rendered void. Especially if the contract was made to defend or otherwise save a life/lives aside from the supplicant's own. These consequences are stated outright to the supplicant in question before the deal is officially made so that they may be able to properly weigh the benefits and risks such a course of action will provide.

So I've been doing an inventory of various RPs I'm in, as well as which ones I'm really motivated to participate in, and unfortunately I'll have to withdraw from this. I feel like, with Maere and Promien being where they are, this is the best juncture at which to do so, since you can just move on or explain it away as them getting lost wherever if need be.

I do wish you all luck with it though, and hope it goes well.
Well, I haven't exactly had the best record when it comes to participation in Divinus, though I am tempted to give this version a shot. One because it's far lighter on mechanics than previous incarnations, two because it's in casual and while there could be long posts I also expect there to be plenty of non-novel length scenes as per the section's standards, which honestly helps my motivation to write, and three because if I can manage it I might play a god who will never run out of things to do. That being a trickster god who just exists to fuck with other people's shit, unless you can trick him that is.

But who ever heard of something out tricking the trickster? Preposterous!

Not wanting to deal with any more of this world's primitives, Sephiroth elected to head towards the temple instead. At least there she could find some quiet place to ponder her next move, not to mention mend her ruined clothes, as her wounds appeared to have healed following her consumption of the blood. Setting off, her energy higher than it had ever been before, she made good time even with her torn up rigging. Seeming to skip across the landscape at high speed. At length however, she finally arrived, striding forward as though she owned the place, although this was muted somewhat. The encounters she'd had over the course of the previous days finally drilling some sense of caution into her brain.

Coming to a halt just outside the temple's entrance, she moved over to one of the watery pools bubbling around the path she was on. Hopping the short four or three foot tall stone divider that separated her from the liquid, she unsheathed her blade and knelt at the water's edge. Submerging it, she began to wash the grime and blood free, staining the pool a feculent brownish-red in the process. After about a minute or so of scrubbing and picking though, she was done. Rising to her full height Sephiroth flicked the blade clean, sending droplets arcing through the air to stain the ground, before returning it to its sheath in a single well-practiced motion. Traversing the wall once more, the former SOLDIER carried on her way, boots clacking loudly against the pavement as she went. Coming to what appeared to be the main entrance, Sephiroth pushed open either door and stepped inside, being met with an unexpected yet not entirely unappreciated gust of cold air as she crossed the threshold. Now inside, she began an immediate search of her surroundings, eyes peeled for potential sources of danger.
If I'm being completely honest, I've been in the mood to just drop all the RPs I'm in and withdraw to pure solo writing.
The OOC isn't going to be much, really just the immediate prelude to the IC, but let me know if there are lingering questions or concerns you have and want addressed.

I am curious to know what the layout of Heaven will be. Will it be similar to Throne and the Wheel, or will it be divided into the various territories of New Gods?

The samurai stared puzzingly at the meatball that was speaking, scratching his head, he wondered if he had been drugged.
"I don't feel well, I'm seeing a talking meatball. "
Izo leaped from Solo shoulder and triple flipped to the ground , right in front of meatball.
The squirrel drew his small katana, "Jip"

Elvis punched and kicked his way thru the crowd of suits, "Does anyone have a plan ? Or where we are going?"

"This way," Zyx said, moving swiftly along. "I had Duma scout ahead and she told me she found a rune somewhere nearby."

Meanwhile, in the city square...

The funny faced man in the crisp white suit strolled along in a jolly fashion, oblivious to the crimson gloves now coating his hands. Snapping, he did a little jig as he went, pedestrians screaming as they fled from him. For though he refused to acknowledge it, he'd let his darker side out, and thus crimson vitae had been spilt.
@Ever Green Be a Nephalem.

One better, be Lucifer and pry the Key of Creation from the brow of God.
@ZAVAZgggWell yes, that would turn any person into a psychopath I'd imagine. Not in the clinical sense, mind you, but in the slasher movie sense.

Granted, even before this one could possibly describe ANYM as sociopathic or lacking in empathy at best. He did overthrow the nobility after all.
