Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

Hello forum dwellers, I'm back in the 1x1 section again!

And now I'm legally blind...

Anyway, being a person whose life has been consumed by CYOA's, I come to you with a trade offer.

You Get
  • The ability to play god in both senses of the word.
  • Go to exotic new locales... and destroy them!
  • Build incomprehensibly vast metaphysical structures whose purposes are unknown to those in the lesser planes, and whose concepts are incredibly based.
  • More shit. Probably.

I Receive
  • Someone to write with.
  • Someone to play god with.
  • Hopefully not a goddamned ghost.
  • A roleplay that actually goes somewhere/a roleplay that I don't lose motivation on in a few months god willing.

Alright so in all seriousness, I've gotten an urge to do a roleplay based on the Living God CYOA: Amaranthea Update. Essentially we'd be playing Living Gods. I'm willing to do any of the multiplayer modes listed, Anarchic Verses especially. I'd also be down for our characters/builds, whoever or whatever they may be, not being allies but enemies instead and us playing events out in a more arena battle sort of way. As far as plot goes, I'd love to hear ideas no matter how major or small, because I have absolutely none at the moment myself other than our characters possibly trolling all of existence. Other than that I have no strict expectations regarding posts aside from decent grammar as I can't really be expected to reply if I can't understand what you've written, and that you give me enough to work with. So I'm okay with one-liners, but if you're going to do one please end it in a way that facilitates a response on my end at the very least, and I'll try to do the same for you.

Moving on, I don't really have a strict post schedule in mind but I do ask that you at least notify me when you are unable to, or don't feel like, posting. Don't worry I won't judge, I know what it's like to be busy and/or extremely lazy or lacking in motivation myself, but I'd prefer being warned in advanced so that I'm not kept waiting for a reply that might not come. Once again I will endeavor to extend the same courtesy to you. Also, I ask that you be at least 18+, as I personally feel more comfortable RPing with another adult, and there may or may not be adult themes depending on how the RP itself goes. Now, onto what I assume is a burning question...

Will this have smut in it?

Honestly? Probably not. Romance/sex isn't even on my list of things to focus on when I write generally, even more so when it comes to writing literal gods. So if that's what you're lurking in the 1x1 section for, kindly scroll on past this roleplay. Anyway, I think that about covers my expectations for this roleplay.

Onto the material itself.

Resources

Annnd... that's it! I look forward to seeing if there are any takers, be that for a philosophical, existence spanning epic, or a tale of two godlike trolls.

Addition
I'd also be willing to do a roleplay based around the JRPG Traitor CYOA, though some extensive setup will naturally be required and post length will likely be around high-casual to advanced due to the sheer amount of material.

Do you side with the Tier Five, after all the amaranthine can do for you? Do you side with the tyranny of their reign, doomed to fail, and die, and suffer? Does everlasting life and the thrill of endless achievement not entice you?

To be honest, I have no idea who Tier Five is, so that's a no there. I side with myself. As for your "offer," eternal life is just death by another name. A ceaseless stagnation as the one who attains it loses all reason to improve, thinking themselves perfect already.

*Smiles*

The man who has everything wants for nothing right? But let's say I believe you. If what you say is true, then you shouldn't even be here should you? You should be off improving rather than flinging your power about like a spoiled brat.

Ezmeralda: this 'sink or swim' concept is what allows for discourse and destruction. Those who 'swim' tend to abuse their power over those who 'sink'. If you take away inability, everyone can succeed. we give them endless opportunity to evolve, to grow stronger. We amaranthine grow stronger with each passing second that this existence tests us. Amaranthine aloows those hwo would otherwise fail and die a chance to make a difference in their lives, and in others. We allow for a broken system to become complete.

No. Your methods rob people of their true potential. It coddles them, and that is the worst poison of all, for every being on this planet is a result of that sink or swim mindset. Survival of the fittest, with those who survived being the ones with the greatest potential to bring about change. What you suggest is tantamount to treating an entire world like a child, and a sheltered one at that, for even children must eventually stand on their own.
Moved.

Ezmeralda:And leave Existence at the mercy of people who could become even worse than the Tier Fives that have botched their turn at governing everything? That sounds like potential for failure. With us, even if you fail, you'll eventually get things right, and have endless chances to do so.

I said nothing of governance, so do not misconstrue my words. I spoke of cultivating potential so that those you train may be left to sink or swim on their own merit alone.

*Crosses my arms*

But leave it to a child to play tyrant, let alone think that such a path is a worthwhile cause.
