"Starting with the transition you want over a black base should make the flames pop when you do them. That way the body color is darker than the flames."

Ele mused, looking out the window. This was her element, talking about painting and design. It didn't matter that it was on a car, she could talk colors for hours and hours.

Surprisingly, Ele could follow along with what Tyler was saying about the chameleon flames and needing to match. Nodding her head, Ele could see and idea in her mind of what it would look like,

"To make it easier, keeping the colors in the same family would cut down on the cost and effort. If you go crazy with like... I don't know, yellow and hot pink, that would take a ton of effort to create a seamless gradient especially with wanting to do the flames on top. But doing a deep blood red to a cherry would be easier."

Eke teased, walking out with Tyler and going to the van. Getting in, Ele waited until they were on their way,

"What's your favorite color?"

Coming out of the bathroom, Ele had washed her face and pulled her hair up into a ponytail. She saw Tyler on the couch and came up behind him, leaning on the back of the couch,

"Ready to go?"

"Keep me around long enough and you'll find that I usually get my way, but yes, deal."

Ele said with a smile to Tyler. When she had tidied up her mess, Ele went to the bathroom to freshen up a bit and get ready to leave back to the resort.

"I don't need to, but I want to."

Ele said stubbornly, rinsing the dishes and putting them in the washer.

"Besides, if the car is going to be my favorite color, a 'woman's touch and creativity' is already covering the entire thing."

"You're going to have to let me pay for some of this car."

Ele said, finished with her breakfast and taking her plate to the kitchen, the empty glasses in her other hand,

"If we're working on it together, we're paying for it together."

Nodding, Ele thought that would be a good idea. Maybe having a hand in remaking the Miata would help her feel more connected to this place and not so flighty.

"Honestly I don't know whether or not I would have freaked out."

Ele admitted with an apologetic shrug,

"But thank you for thinking of that and thinking to keep me calm. Being with you makes me feel better."

Nodding, Ele got glasses of milk as well and took a couple sips to soothe her mouth.

"Still, I felt bad when I realized."

Coming to sit down again, Ele took another bite of her food, more prepared for the burn this time,

"Honestly, I was surprised you didn't get upset when you realized I was there."
