Picking up her gloves, Ele strapped them on and watched Tyler. Smirking, Ele raised an eyebrow,

"Oh I don't know babe, that looks hard..."

Her tone sassy, Ele took her stance and quickly copied Tyler, then added to the combo by grabbing the bag and kneeling it hard. Finding her stance again, Ele smiled at Tyler,

"So I may have been taking kickboxing classes for the last three years as cardio and toning."

She said with a shrug, and flicking her hair over her shoulder.

Nodding, Ele put her hands on her hips and took a deep breath,

"Go easy on me, I don't know what I'm doing."

She said, bending over and stretching her legs to keep her muscles limber.

Ele called before going over to a treadmill to warm up. A couple hours later she made her way down to where she had seen Tyler. Drenched in sweat, legs shaking and muscles burning, Ele found Tyler.

Seeing the usual equipment and space for free movements I looked at Tyler and shook my head,

"Maybe in a bit, babe. I wanna get my usual stuff in, do legs and butt today, then maybe go in the sauna."

Looking Tyler up,and down, Ele raised an eyebrow as she began backing towards where they had resistance bands and free weights,

"But only if you go in with me."

The drive to the gym was wonderful, and Ele had had a grand time, singing with the radio, letting the wind pull her hair from its ponytail and the setting sun painted,the prettiest sunset. There was so much freedom, and so much joy, Ele couldn't stop smiling if she tried.

At the gym, Ele got out of the car and took Tyler's free hand as they walked into the building,

"Ready to whoop my own butt? Heck yeah!"

Rolling her eyes, Ele laughed and got in, strapping herself in as well.

She said, looking at the Miata then sidled towards it, really wanting to ride in it again.

"Okay, let's do it!"

Grabbing a couple water bottles, Ele jogged to catch up to Tyler but she shook her head at the idea of rolling up in the Miata.

"I think we should keep it a secret until the first race. Shock and awe."

Nodding, Ele kissed Tyler's back then went to get changed into workout clothes. Coming back out in black workout leggings and a bright blue sports bra, Ele pulled her hair from its braid and into a ponytail.

"This butt doesn't stay this fantastic just because I'm lucky,"

She said, winking at Tyler as she pulled on her running shoes.

"But I'll keep it nice and round just for you."

Ele called from the computer, typing away. Her phone buzzed next to her and Ele sighed, swiping away the notification.

"I blocked my mom but Kate is saying Mom had to be removed by security. She's demanding to see me."

Shaking her head and getting up, Ele went to Tyler and wrapped her arms around him from behind, resting her cheek on his,back,

"Can't say she's not determined. I've never seen her try so hard at anything before."
