"And where will you be?"

She asked, playing with Tyler's sweatshirt in her lap. It would swamp her, but Ele was more concerned with being warm than fashionable tonight.
"Everything around here is quite a bit away from everything else!"

Ele laughed, going to her side of the car,

"Even though California is the bigger state, there's a lot more space out here."
"So... Big and powerful, but heavy and hard to move?"
Ele watched the guy go, and even she could tell the truck was making a funny noise,

"Why does it sound like that?"

She asked, putting her certificate away again.
Ele's eyes went wide when the guy mentioned the cash prize for her catch. $2500 would certainly help both her and Tyler recoup some losses from breaking Ele's lease and moving her things.

Thanking the guys when he handed her back her certificate, Ele looked up at Tyler,

"You didn't know about that?"
Enjoying cuddling with Tyler, Ele was a little sad when they needed to go back to the dock, but she understood. Plus, they had a race to get to. Grabbing her bag and letting Tyler help her out, Ele was pleasantly surprised when Tyler introduced her to the other guy as his girlfriend.

Blushing, Ele dug around in her bag for a moment then produced the certificate, handing it over to the guy. Stepping closer to Tyler, Ele took his hand and looked down at the wooden dock beneath her feet, going shy again.
As the light dimmed and Ele couldn't see her book well enough anymore, she put it away and dozed until Tyler spoke again. Looking around her, the little cove seemed even more beautiful as the sun set. Getting up, Ele went over to Tyler and took his fishing rod, setting it carefully down.

"Come love on me for a while, the fish will be here tomorrow and the rest of the wekk. I won't be."

She reminded him bringing Tyler to one of the seats and sitting in his lap.
When Tyler came over, Ele quickly covered her drawing, embarrassed that she had been caught drawing Tyler. Paying attention to the fish, Ele smiled and stroked the smooth scales before Tyler let it go,

"I think I love this place,"

Ele said quietly, going back to drawing, now working on a lilypad.
Making a face at Tyler, Ele got back into the boat and rummaged in her bag for her sketchbook. Settling down comfortably Ele studied Tyler for a moment and began drawing light sketches of him in her book. The last couple of pages had quite a lot of Tyler in them, but he had become one of the most important details in her life, and so her hands drew him.
Touching the cattail, Ele looked over her shoulder to Tyler.

"How?"
