Ele giggled and shrugged,

"I still have to learn to drive it properly, but Tyler and I are hoping that I can race it soon."

Nodding again, Ele smiled, remembering the details about the engine,

"It's a 1.8 liter, 2 rotary. It was originally advertised as 1.3, but when we got there the dealer told us the original owner sprung for the 1.8."

Ele nodded, clashing her hands in front of her,

"A minivan, a massive truck that he has to lift me into, and we're working on a Miata together. The engine came from an Rx8 that's sitting in the garage now. He's got a plan for it, but Lord knows what that could be."

Stopping at the bottom of the stairs, Ele was impressed by the basement. It looked very comfortable and well put together, but when Eric mentioned trying out the bed, Ele's defensive system went up. It didn't matter that Eric was gay, and that she liked him well enough, but he was still a man and Ele was still wary,

"Oh I will in a bit, thanks."

She said politely, not moving from where she was, but giving Eric a smile.

Setting down her plate, Ele followed Eric and pulled out her phone,

You were right, Eric is awesome!

She sent quickly to Tyler.

"I told the charity people to be there by 9, and the movers by 10. I was going to go in and color mark everything so the charity knows what to take."

Biting her lip, Ele did feel more comfortable here rather than so close to her former job, where her mother could easily find her if the woman bothered to ask someone in the neighborhood.

"I didn't bring anything, and I have to meet the movers tomorrow, but if we can get to my place early tomorrow that isn't too much of an issue."

Taking the plate, Ele took a bit of the soft taco and gasped. The food was delicious and she finished the first taco quickly. Slowing down after that, Ele balanced the plate on her knees,

"So am I going back to my apartment tonight?"

"I haven't eaten yet today, so I'm kind of hungry."
