Clapping her hands and bouncing up and down like an excited child, Ele nodded as a familiar car pulled up. Kate tumbled out in a flurry, dragging a duffel bag behind her,

"Oh thank God I got here before you left! Here's a bag for your trip, and I will see you when you get settled in!"

The two friends embraced tightly and Ele felt tears sliding down her face. She was really doing it, moving away to a completely different state and starting her life over with the man of her dreams. Stepping back from Kate, Ele sniffled and wiped her eyes.

As the back of the trailer came open, Ele's mouth could have hit the floor. There was her baby, the Miata looking better than brand new. Her face transformed into a big smile as she laughed and covered her mouth,with,both hands,

"Its beautiful!"

Nodding enthusiastically, Ele went to Eric and Lee, hugging them both tightly.

"Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home! And thank you for bashing that bastard's face in."

Ele said to Eric, stepping back and smiling at Vale and Terri,

"You left Amber to hold down the fort? Brave!"

The next morning Ele woke to the nurses coming in and soon she was checked out and discharged from the hospital. There was an interview with the police detective, but because of the security cameras in the stairwell, and the witnesses in the lobby who saw Tony running up the stairs, he didn't believe Ele would need to appear in court.

Holding Tyler's hand tightly as they left the hospital, Ele smiled up at him,

"I'm coming home, babe!"

"I just got you back, I'm not letting you go again."

Her words were firm and stubborn as Ele repositioned herself comfortably on Tyler, yawning then tilting her head back to kiss his jaw,

"I love you Tyler."

Shaking her head, Eke sat up a bit,

"You said once that you wanted to road trip, so lets road trip! Someone on standby will get my seat, and it will be fun to get to know Vale outside of the resort."

She replied, raising her head so she could look at Tyler, her voice shaky and e yes wide,

"I love Terri, but being alone is the last thing I want with my mom still out there."

As Tyler climbed in, Ele rolled back over so she was basically on top of Tyler, her head on his chest. Already she felt much more comfortable and sleepy,

"I had it booked for three. They should discharge me in the morning."

Thinking for a moment, Ele scooted as far as she could to one side of the bed and patted the empty space next to her.

"I'll probably end up on you in the middle of the night, but I don't want to be away from you anymore."

Time passed again, the small group talking and laughing until Kate needed to go home. She promised to stop at Ele's apartment and check the rest of the moving process. The ladies hugged one another and Kate waved herself out the door.

Turning to Tyler, Ele looked around at the small room.

"Did you get a hotel for the night?"
