Einar was still in the center of his self made disaster when he heard someone say his name. He would have thought that everyone in the house knew better than to try and talk to him while he was in such a state. His mind didn't register the voice with one he knew and upon being bothered in his anger he shot to feet and lunged at the source of the voice. His big hand stopping less than an inch from strangling the person. It was Ember, one of the younger family members, but she was still family. Einar's enraged, bloodshot stare locked onto her eyes as his hand shook in front of her. His breaths came in ragged, short bursts. He forced himself to breath more, to control himself. Finally he was able to close his eyes and lower his hand away from Ember's throat. He took one long breath.
"I am not grieving for the loss of my family, not yet. I am angered by the cowardice of these oskilgetinn, bastards," Einar explained, forcing his voice into a calmer state, despite the rage still inside him. He opened his eyes again and looked down at Ember as he stood a good head and a half taller than her.
"They kill my family and then run to the shadows in a way where my nose cannot follow! I have scoured every inch of this city since the night of the first murder and have yet to find a single damned thing!" He yelled, throwing the half empty bottle of liquor into a wall, shattering it.
Einar ran his hand through his hair before turning back to look at Ember.
"Until I find the one responsible for the deaths of our family I will not grieve for our loss. Not until I have their blood upon my claws." He pointed a finger at Ember in a threatening manner.
"And until vengeance has been delivered the family will not tether me to this house! I need you to give a warning to the Capers and Blackwalls. Tell them that the Banes have released me from my leash to hunt down these murderers! And if they get in my way I will tear them apart," Einar said, his eyes once again showing the full furry of his rage.
